It can be said that this small hotel has everything except no elevator. The room comes with slippers. The air conditioner is not a window machine after all. It is very quiet and the bed is very comfortable. Although the room is small, there is a safe and a refrigerator. , the most important thing is the excellent location, it only takes less than 5 minutes to walk to Times Square! The front desk staff will also deliver luggage to the room. If you don’t have elderly children, I highly recommend this hotel!

The West Side YMCA is definitely a no frills place to stay, but the location is excellent. You're right next to Central Park and Columbus Circle. Times Square is an easy walk south. We stayed in 2 different rooms. The first had a bunk bed and was quite small, but the bed was comfy and the room was clean. It also had a small TV and fridge. We had a semi-private bathroom, which was down the hall. This meant we had to scan our key on one of the bathroom doors to get in, but once inside we had privacy while we got cleaned up. The bathrooms were kept clean and tidy. We were able to upgrade the second half of our stay to a room with a larger bed and an in room bathroom. Again, this hotel is no frills. It can be rough around the edges, but it's clean and comfortable at the end of a long day of sightseeing. We did not have time to take advantage of the gym, the pool, the sauna, and stuff like that, but they looked nice. I'd recommend the West Side YMCA. If you're visiting NYC, you should be out doing stuff, not sitting around the room. It was everything we needed it to be.

The room is a suite with one bedroom and one living room. Although the suites are not very large, they have all the facilities. It is worth mentioning that the sofa has a built-in folding bed, and the bedroom has a door, so that 3 to 4 people can stay without being disturbed; The hotel includes breakfast; the ferry is 100 meters away from the door, and it is very convenient to go to downtown Manhattan.

is ok, fairly clean, friendly and helpful stuff, 24 hours reception, can check-in at any time. next to the train track, very noisy, AC inside the room but makes noise, you cannot sleep without earplugs, unless terribly tired like I was. Felt very safe in the area, I arrived at 02:00 am using the subway, and left 03:00 am with no problems. shop right next to the hostel. across the road other shops for food which are cheaper, only a short train ride to the main attractions. Large kitchen, 2 large fridges, pool table, large seating area in the basement too noisy because of the train track next to the window, noisy AC, no lift, steep stairs, cleanness of toilets was not to the best.

Although the communal kitchen occasionally suffered from post-use neglect, the dedicated hostel staff ensured it remained clean and well-equipped. The cleanliness of the shared facilities extended to the toilets, which were consistently well-maintained and stocked with amenities. This attention to hygiene contributed significantly to a positive overall experience. Despite booking a bed in a 12-bed room, I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness and the daily cleaning routine carried out by the diligent hostel staff. Adding to the positive experience, the Hi New York hostel's location proved to be exceptionally convenient for exploring major destinations. The hostel's close proximity to a subway station, just a 2-minute walk away, made traveling around the city a breeze. This accessibility enhanced the overall convenience of my stay, allowing me to easily reach and explore various attractions without any hassle. The strategic location near the subway station was undoubtedly a valuable asset for anyone looking to make the most of their time in the city. In essence, Hi New York hostel provided a comfortable and budget-friendly accommodation option with its friendly staff, convenient amenities, and well-maintained communal spaces. My stay was marked by a harmonious balance of affordability and quality service.

Location is the greatest advantage of this hotel. Less than 1 min by walk from Yellow R & W Subway Whitehall South Station Exit. This hotel has 40+ floors, but 3 guest lifts only. Long waiting time for lift was annoying. The air-conditioning unit was noisy, as it started on/off intermittently all the time. The shower room is tiny, it was just enough room for an adult to turn around the body. The design of shower room glass door was poor, as the bathroom floor would get wet when open the glass door.

We were at this hotel for one night. There was a power failure which affected the hotel, and of course, this was not the hotel's fault, although it did result in inconvenience and discomfort to our stay. In addition, some guests were having a noisy party just outside the front entrance which was loud enough to keep me awake in the middle of the night -- our room was a few floors up overlooking the party. I felt that we deserved either compensation or credit for a future stay at a Hilton property, so I went to speak to the manager in the morning. However, there was a long line of people waiting to complain to the manager, and we had to leave, so I didn't get to speak with him. I subsequently emailed the manager 3 times to ask for compensation and he never replied. I called 5 times and the manager was supposedly never there. Finally, I spoke to the assistant manager. He listened attentively assured me that someone would get back to me. That was two weeks ago. I am very disappointed in this poor customer service and unprofessional behavior of their managerial staff.

A new hotel, not far from the subway. The only restaurants around are McDonald's and supermarkets. The supermarkets also have a variety of stir-fried food. If you don't sleep well, some rooms here will hear the sound of the subway or the voices in the corridor of the next room. The good thing is that when I arrived after 12 noon, I checked in for free and stayed for two nights. The second night was very quiet and I was not affected by the neighbors. Closer to the airport.

The internal environment is very good, the hotel is very new, free breakfast is included, lunch and dinner can be ordered from the menu, the service attitude is good, but the location is not very convenient, only Uber, buses and subway stations can't get around, next to the viaduct

It was a little confusing at first because Homewood suites and Hampton inn was listed at the same property. But we are glad that we chose Hampton as it was cheaper but also shared the same amenities. The rate was decent and for the quality. It was a little bit out of the way to get to the city but the bus was accessible and it's supposed to only take about 30 minutes or so to get to the city.
