It’s at the average level. It’s far away from the airport, however if you take a taxi, it costs 6mins and 35 dollars!!!!! All the facilities are not at the expectation but the having enough space (quite big). The bed is comfortable to sleep. The toilet at the bathroom is always full of water (not dirty), it’s normal? Curious about that…… And the hotel service is also acceptable. Overall, as a Hilton hotel, it is under my expectation.

After a long flight from the UK we arrived to check in and were greeted by very friendly reception staff who asked us all about our trip, where we were travelling to etc, so we explained we were at the start of a roadtrip. We asked if our room rate included breakfast, it didn't, but the very helpful Nate said he wanted our trip to get off to a good start and gave us a voucher for breakfast. Was a lovely gesture, very welcome and the next morning it set us up for the day - thanks Nate! The hotel itself was fine, the room perfectly adequate. Our only issue was the family across the corridor. I think there had been a problem with their room so they were in the hallway making such an amount of noise which carried on inside the room. I believe several complaints were made as it was as though there was a party going on. Security came up a couple of times and it eventually quietened down. Just not what we needed at 11pm onwards after a long flight, nor I'm sure did anyone else.

I had a very nice experience with the hotel. The personnel were very accommodating, nice and respectful. Over all it was apleasant stay even though we only had 1 night to stay. Aside from this, the location of the hotel was close to the WTC, Wall St., The Oculus, was just a 5-15 minute walk away. By the way, love the freshly baked cookies. I would truly recommend this hotel to my friends.

We stayed at the Element this past weekend and had a fantastic experience. Quick Overview - Staff was super nice, picked us up from the airport, held our bags while we went into the city before check in, Path station is across the street, great location with several restaurants nearby, hotel lobby and our room was clean, breakfast had plenty of variety (even stayed open 5 extra minutes for our teenagers who over slept), they have a nice bar & grill with good food and reasonable prices. Then to top it off, my daughter left her vintage magazine she bought in NYC. I thought for sure it was gone. Nope, the staff found it and dropped it in the mail to us this morning. It isn't easy to find a centrally located and relatively affordable hotel in Brooklyn, so I was a bit nervous about what to expect, but the Sheraton worked out really well. My room was bigger than I expected--not huge, but good-sized for New York--with a nice view of the water. It was clean, quiet, and modern, and the bed was comfortable. Outside the hotel, street life was bustling--diverse crowds enjoying the many take-out food options and the outlet stores on the Fulton Mall. I enjoyed feeling like I was surrounded by ”real New Yorkers.” There's a subway station close by (you're only two stops from Manhattan), and a decent cafe operating out of the lobby. The elevators can be a bit slow and crowded, so requesting a lower floor might reduce your wait times a bit. Over the course of my multi-day stay at this large hotel, I met other guests attending weddings, religious conferences, and sports tournaments. I found the staff helpful and pleasant, though perhaps the service is a little basic (if something is delivered to you at the front desk, you can expect to go get it yourself). I was glad to find this hotel and would stay there again.

The hotel is located across from the ferry station so you can get to Manhattan within 7 minutes. It was great! The staff was super nice and the room was spacious. The breakfast is your average hotel breakfast, cold hard boil eggs, fruit, cereal and yogurt and those awful prepackaged sandwiches with fake meat and fake eggs. I definitely would stay here again, the view is pretty and the location is great!

I booked a room at the last minute after my flight was cancelled, and was so impressed with everything about The Local. They were so helpful and accomodating, from my initial phone call, to letting me check in early when a room became available, to booking a cab to the airport early in the morning, at their discounted rate. The Local is situated near the iconic Gantry Park, and is walking distance from shops and sights. The rooms are well designed and super clean, and the lobby has everything a traveller needs, from computers, printer, charging area to a bar area, comfy couches, local art...and my favourite: a roof top lounge area with views of the NY skyline and Queensborough Bridge. I highly recommend staying here!

The West Side YMCA is definitely a no frills place to stay, but the location is excellent. You're right next to Central Park and Columbus Circle. Times Square is an easy walk south. We stayed in 2 different rooms. The first had a bunk bed and was quite small, but the bed was comfy and the room was clean. It also had a small TV and fridge. We had a semi-private bathroom, which was down the hall. This meant we had to scan our key on one of the bathroom doors to get in, but once inside we had privacy while we got cleaned up. The bathrooms were kept clean and tidy. We were able to upgrade the second half of our stay to a room with a larger bed and an in room bathroom. Again, this hotel is no frills. It can be rough around the edges, but it's clean and comfortable at the end of a long day of sightseeing. We did not have time to take advantage of the gym, the pool, the sauna, and stuff like that, but they looked nice. I'd recommend the West Side YMCA. If you're visiting NYC, you should be out doing stuff, not sitting around the room. It was everything we needed it to be.

While I explored nearby Bodegas for budget-friendly groceries, the hostel's public kitchen became my go-to for preparing breakfast and dinner. Although the communal kitchen occasionally suffered from post-use neglect, the dedicated hostel staff ensured it remained clean and well-equipped. The cleanliness of the shared facilities extended to the toilets, which were consistently well-maintained and stocked with amenities. This attention to hygiene contributed significantly to a positive overall experience. Despite booking a bed in a 12-bed room, I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness and the daily cleaning routine carried out by the diligent hostel staff. Adding to the positive experience, the Hi New York hostel's location proved to be exceptionally convenient for exploring major destinations. The hostel's close proximity to a subway station, just a 2-minute walk away, made traveling around the city a breeze. This accessibility enhanced the overall convenience of my stay, allowing me to easily reach and explore various attractions without any hassle. The strategic location near the subway station was undoubtedly a valuable asset for anyone looking to make the most of their time in the city. In essence, Hi New York hostel provided a comfortable and budget-friendly accommodation option with its friendly staff, convenient amenities, and well-maintained communal spaces. My stay was marked by a harmonious balance of affordability and quality service.

The location of the hotel is in China town where Chinese restaurants, stores and grocery stores around it. Most of the customers were Chinese. It is close to the subway station, takes about 7 minutes to get there, but takes at least 30 minutes to get to Manhattan by train. We spent a lot of time on commute. If you want to visit Manhattan, I recommend staying in Manhattan. The highlight of the staying was breakfast which was perfect. However, I can’t believe that the hotel does not provide water, and we had to pay for water.
