Hotels in Baisha Bay, New Taipei City

Close to the beach, the location is good, the fly in the ointment of living in the side car at night, the organic car family is racing, the next room is a bit noisy at night, it is really unlucky to meet this kind of people who do not abide by the housing convention without public morality. It is recommended that the boss can double-glazed and thickened door panels in the side house. Add sound insulation, it will be perfect.

A supposedly 4 star hotel that delivers the bare minimum. Nothing to shout about, had an unobjectionable stay here in January this year and was happy with the location and relatively clean room so decided to book again for 5 nights for my recent trip. Regretted my decision as I felt that the service was lackluster. Upon entering the room we saw that the double bed was made up by 2 twin beds unlike our initial experience so we approached the front desk to enquire if a change was possible as we do not like the feel of the gap between the beds and the light switches were behind our pillows making the lights on/off if we were to even lightly lean on the headboard. The answer we got was that we should have indicated that request upon check in and it is a common process for hotels to join 2 twin beds and sell them as a double room. The front desk manager also said the check in rate was 98% that night. We then asked if we could have a change the next day and the reply was to come down and check again tmr. No effort to assist and instead all we felt was him trying the shift the blame to us when all we requested was a double bed when it is available. That left an extremely sour taste in our mouth. The next morning, I woke up with red bites on my arms, legs and torso, however my partner didn't had any so I did not relate it to the cleanliness of the room. The next 2 morning remained to be the same and we requested a change of room which we were given. The itchiness subsided after the change. The staff also passed a cream for itchness to me. But she mentioned it may be mosquito bites which I can tell it isn't as they are in clusters. Location was convenient for us as it is near the banqiao transfer station and there are food choices around the hotel as well as a few family marts.

Everything is awesome, big rooms, friendly staff and convenient location!! Just that if you are travelling by car / uber / private hire, then not so, as the jams during peak hour are really bad, a 5mins distance might take up to 30 minutes.. but if by public transport, diagonally there is a bus terminal + metro station + train & high speed rail station!! There is also a microwave but is only for use during the restaurant opening hours, about 6am? To about 10pm? Or so.. the pool above is also very clean, but there is no direct lift to it.. there is also a welcome drink (soft drinks) on the first check in, everyday there are 2 bottles of free pet bottle water

The location was very convenient for my business meetings. The big mall closeby had many good restaurants. However, there was some insect in my room, and the A/C in the bar and in the breakfast area was extremely cold, so I was afraid I would get a cold. Service was very good however, we got help in arranging a car and the information about the insect issue was followed up on.

This second stay, the front desk service is good, this time is staying in an environmentally friendly room, clean and standard, if you return to Taiwan, you will order again

1. The counter response training was insufficient. Due to his own negligence, he was unable to find the passenger's booking information (all available information was provided to the counter). When he finally found it, he kept explaining that it was because the passenger's information was provided incorrectly, which is extremely ridiculous; 2. The room facilities are old and the bed is hard; 3. There are some hairs on the bed and bathroom and the TV remote control feels like it has not been wiped for a long time; 4. The location is very good. It is only a 5-minute walk from Banqiao Station and there is a bus stop downstairs. It is very convenient to go anywhere.

The room is a bit old, the shower water flow is very weak, the air conditioner will get cold if it is turned on for a long time, the sound insulation is also poor, and the bed is very hard. Fortunately, the staff is very polite, and the price would be better if it were cheaper.

Second time staying here, in general it was a good stay. Good location, near MRT, lots of food options and got a convenience store right across the hotel. The room is spacious, outdated design but still comfortable. The lighting is dark I would say for both aisle and the room. Staffs are friendly and welcoming.

You won’t have a lot of privacy there. Single rooms have practically zero sound insulation. There are only two toilets and two shower cubicles for the whole floor. Even though I am heavy sleeper I got no more than 6 hours of good sleep everyday. It is very loud in there, especially in the mornings. If you are on a budget it is probably pretty good option for a few nights. I stayed there for 4 nights in a row and it was definitely too much for me. To be fair I need to add that the service was extraordinary. People at the front desk were always very helpful, friendly and professional. However, the sleeping area definitely needs some improvement or they should just change their name from hotel to hostel. You can for sure find yourself something more comfortable in Taipei for the same amount of money. I did not enjoy food, I got the same plain toast with a little bit of cheese and ham everyday. On the upside there is a pretty decent restaurant just next to this place.
