We stayed here for 9 days because it was the close to where I need to be for a family event. First of all, this is a "Motel" not a hotel, therefore the amenities are different. (Look up Motel ciltures in Taiwan) This Motel is very big, although i couldnt tell from the front of the building when i first checked in. It is divided into two parts. Business suites/ (presidential) suites for long stays, the Mobile Garage walk up suites for "short stays" which is almost a seperate part of the building. When i first checked in i was given room 509. The room was very large and had hard wood floors instead of carpet which are the two pros. But as another reviewer has described. My room smell of smoke, there was a cigarette hole on the blanket cover, and the shower head was loose adding to the fact that there are no shower curtains to prevent the water getting the floor wet. Making the bathroom floor a slippery mess. On top of everything, the walking distance to the subway is about 20 mins. My 4 star rating (the pros) comes from the following. 1. If you are in the YongHe area of Taipei, there arent a lot of choices. And having to be in this district the past couple of years, this motel, albit not modern is Very Very spacious and clean in comparison to other hotels that Ive stayed at. 2. The staff is super friendly and caring. Always a smile and not one person (after 9 days) had an "dont bother me look". Which to me says a lot. There were many requests that I've made during my stay and the staff all went above and beyond to assist. 3. After I complained about the room. They gave me room 501. Which had new sheets, no smell of smoke, and a workong shower head. Therefor on the room portion i think its a hit or miss. So if you get a room you have a problem with, just ask to be switched out. And did i mention their staff was super friendly? So getting a different room, or anything else was just simply to ask. 4. We get to pick 2 bowls of instant noodles free every day at the front desk. Which was something I've never experienced in my years of world travel. Its pretty cool. 9 days and 18 bowls later. I still have flavors that ive not tried. You also get two cans of soda (different flavors) daily in your refrigerator in addition to the two bottles of water and various cookies and chips in your room…complimentary. 5. I learned on the last three days that there is a communtty bus that takes you to the MRT station for free. And there is also a MRT ststion being build on the corner, which will be finished by next year, which will make transportation much more convenient. Yet i enjoyed my walks to the MRT becaue i get to cut through the largest park in Yonghe every day (RenAi Park) 6. Lastly, I gave one extra star for the auntie making the breakfast everyday. She really cares about the food she makes. I see her carry the ingredients fresh from the market at 4am every morning to get the breakfast ready every morning. Her menu is different every day and everyth
