Hotel Cham Cham - Taipei

The hotel is very clean. Alot of shops nearby. Near the train station. The staffs are friendly. Highly recommended to stay.

A supposedly 4 star hotel that delivers the bare minimum. Nothing to shout about, had an unobjectionable stay here in January this year and was happy with the location and relatively clean room so decided to book again for 5 nights for my recent trip. Regretted my decision as I felt that the service was lackluster. Upon entering the room we saw that the double bed was made up by 2 twin beds unlike our initial experience so we approached the front desk to enquire if a change was possible as we do not like the feel of the gap between the beds and the light switches were behind our pillows making the lights on/off if we were to even lightly lean on the headboard. The answer we got was that we should have indicated that request upon check in and it is a common process for hotels to join 2 twin beds and sell them as a double room. The front desk manager also said the check in rate was 98% that night. We then asked if we could have a change the next day and the reply was to come down and check again tmr. No effort to assist and instead all we felt was him trying the shift the blame to us when all we requested was a double bed when it is available. That left an extremely sour taste in our mouth. The next morning, I woke up with red bites on my arms, legs and torso, however my partner didn't had any so I did not relate it to the cleanliness of the room. The next 2 morning remained to be the same and we requested a change of room which we were given. The itchiness subsided after the change. The staff also passed a cream for itchness to me. But she mentioned it may be mosquito bites which I can tell it isn't as they are in clusters. Location was convenient for us as it is near the banqiao transfer station and there are food choices around the hotel as well as a few family marts.

Great stay here at Hotel Cham Cham. Conveniently located nearby the metro and bus station, easy to navigate. Love the room, it’s spacious and comfy! Would recommend

I travelled to Taipei more than 5 times but always stayed at Ximending area till this most recent. I picked hotel Cham Cham based on prices basis due to some huge event that made all hotels ran out or ridiculously pricey. However, hotel Cham Cham was pleasantly surprised me with quality, size and amenities. It’s just 5 stations away from Ximen. What I liked most and definitely the room size and bathtub which never had such during my visit. It’s less crowded and decent location, I’ll stay at hotel Cham Cham again for the next visit

Very good location, walking distance to Banqiao HSR, Megastore, food and wellness options. Room is very functional to fit 3 pax comfortably with Single bed each. Will always be back at Cham Cham if in Taipei.
