Hotels near Golden Waterfall, New Taipei City

The hotel manager LUCY is so enthusiastic and the service is so good. We arrived at the hotel at around 9pm. Manager LUCY warmly welcomed us, introduced us and checked us in. She also helped us move our luggage and took special care of us. We hadn't eaten dinner yet. She also recommended us a great restaurant. I highly recommend it! Everyone must find her when they come. You will feel at ease with her. If you come here to play, I recommend staying here. There is a small balcony in front of each room. The room is large and clean. It is quiet at night and in the morning. You can see the sea as soon as you come out!

Absolutely brilliant BnB if you are on a road trip around Taipei! Brilliant view with superb tranquility, awesome hosts who are welcoming, can be talkative and give local recommendations, also with a scrumptious breakfast! Will definitely visit again to chat more with the knowledgeable hosts 🙂↕️🫶🏻

This place is very neat and brand new,, Clean and very nice view of mountains. The view was excellent! We hailed a cab to get there from the airport,but the driver got lost even with GPS. Since Jiufen is located on high mountains with very narrow roads, we felt a bit car sick from 1 hour and 30 minutes of the ride at the end. We, however found out the hotel was actually located on very convenient and easy to get by next day! The outside spa was not that clean, neither even was not warm enough to get in, the weather there was very cold! The breakfast was worthy to have, because around there no place to eat unless you take a ride to get down to Old Street place. We felt a bit chilly inside of the room, it could be the cold weather at this time ( in March?) One thing very odd was the length of the bed in the master room, even for me my feet could touched the end of the bed!( i am 5’2”.) Overall not bad, liked their clean and staff were very friendly. If you got bed knees, watch out those enormous steps every other corners!

Everything was perfect, we went to Jiufen to spend a day. The best thing about it was the kindness of the owner. He advised us on all the possible plans and explained to us exactly all the ways we had to get to our next destination. A place with rural charm, the room was super clean and the towels too. Highly recommended.

Great location, within 5 minutes walk from the old street. The hotel is well furnished, with a common area on the 1st floor, where traveller can relax, have coffee and do some casual reading. Great arrangement. The room is exactly the same as shown in website. Spacious and well equipped. The sea view from the room is fascinating, must book with this view. Free parking is an additional bonus. The breakfast provided was marvelous, very delicious. Hotel owner are really friendly, show us sight seeing area closeby. Highly recommend to couple and family want a warm stay in the area.

A boutique hotel with beautiful wooden decor and cosy rooms. First level is the breakfast area which becomes a busy coffee shop in the day. It's located inside the bustling Jiuphen Old Street but not too noisy. Quiet at night when the stores close at around 7pm. Served breakfast was tasty but the same every day. Friendly staff. An enjoyable 3 night stay. Recommended.

The room is very clean. It is considered very cheap. We booked for a little over 1,200 baht. I highly recommend this place. However, the check-in pin is not correct. You have to check in first. Then wait until 3 pm. You will be taken to the accommodation. The first picture is from the walking street. Turn left into the alley and you will see the check-in point.

It's pretty good for a B&B. We took a taxi up the stairs from the 7-11 next to the old street. It takes about seven minutes to get there. However, there are several flights of stairs along the way. When we wanted to check out the next day, we discovered that it was due to the hillside terrain. , in fact, the car can also be driven to the top floor. Breakfast is here while looking at the beautiful scenery outside the window, eating sandwiches, and drinking their homemade soy milk. It is a great experience. If you have large luggage, it is easier to drive up. , the B&B is actually very close to the old street, it only takes five minutes.

We stayed at this hotel for one night. Everything was good. The place is a little difficult to find. The wifi password is the hotel’s phone number. We didn’t buy a SIM card when we were in Taiwan, so it was not easy to communicate with the front desk without wifi. There is a YouTube video on how to go to the hotel to and from the old street. You should ask for that video ahead of your check in.

The room is very beautiful. It is a 5-minute walk to the old street. The only drawback is that it is very humid. When you get up in the morning, the quilt and clothes are wet. You must always pay attention to whether the dehumidifier is full of water. It must be turned on 24 hours a day. It will be too humid
