So our beloved friends were looking to celebrate their engagement with us; someplace amazing. Doing so in a safe way during the current pandemic proved challenging. Luckily I had met MJ, the general manager of the pool club at the Virgin Hotel, who offered her amazing private outdoor patio to host the occasion. The drinks were refreshing, the food delicious, and the view was captivating- the best I've seen of downtown Nashville. Looking from the iconic Batman Building to the Parthenon was a sweeping, breathtaking view. Before long the bride-to-be was dancing to the music, saying ”I am so, so happy”. We were shown incredible service from the time we dropped off our cars with the valet staff, and our server Conner was attentive and friendly, seamlessly becoming an important part of our evening. Thank you MJ, Conner, valet staff, and anyone else at Virgin Hotels who helped make this special night perfect.

Club Lounge on 3rd floor is fantastic. It’s large and cute decor. Breakfast offers fruit, bacon, cheese / meats, bagels , sweets. Appetizers/ dinner include beef Wellington, shrimp, sandwiches, chips/dips, salads. Desserts include cookies, chocolate mini cakes, lemon bars, etc. Plenty of water , chips, breakfast bars, and coffee at entrance in case you want to grab and go. Staff was excellent!! Wine was ridiculously priced at $17 a glass!!!!!! Hotel is connected to Assembly Food Hall- so many food and drink options- a must go.( son had sushi, we had lobster roll) Walking distance to Broadway, Bridgestone Arena and other sights. Lyft to Vanderbilt around $8. Valet parking is $62, but you can park at Library garage across the street and take the skybridge to hotel for only $20 a day. Rooms are very average and could use updating. *The 1st we checked into reeked of smoke. No upgrade except higher floor/ view was available, but not expected.

Beautiful resort. Wonderful staff and amazing Christmas activities. Our one conplaint is the cost. With the expense of the room they need to be more cost effective in other areas to help families out especially during these times. 45 per day for parking is extreme and the food prices were priced 45 percent higher then most other food in the area. Other then that amazing time with my wife.

One of the best hotel experiences I have ever had, and I travel quite a bit. My wife and I were in town for a concert and did not want to drive home after. The location of this hotel was less than five minutes from the venue. Service was top notch as well! We had multiple interactions with the front desk, wait staff, house keeping and the valets and in every case, the person or people we spoke with were pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. The room was immaculate and impressive, and we had plenty of towels, as well as coffee materials. We ate in the rooftop bar, and while I initially was skeptical, the food turned out to be very tasty, and the bartender made an excellent drink. All in all, we absolutely recommend this hotel and will absolutely be coming back here next time we are in Nashville.

Janet and Ha were absolutely amazing! They were both so kind. The best service we have ever had at a restaurant! We ended up stumbling across this restaurant by chance and it ended up being the best experience! 20/10 recommend! Thank you SO much for making our day Janet and Ha!

The Conrad Hotel is in Midtown, on a street which becomes Broadway. It is about a 20 minute walk straight down that street to Downtown, so convenient for anyone who wants to enjoy the nightlife of the area without the bother of driving or taxis. It is newly built, and the rooms are well designed, with lots of cupboard space and a modern bathroom. My room had an L=shaped chaise longue fr relaxing, and a well-lit desk for working. Both at the desk and by the bed, there were ample power sockets and effective free WiFi. Flight cancellations and re-routing meant that I arrived at about 11pm, only to discover that no food was available even on room service, as the kitchen closed at 10.30. Being rather frazzled after a trying day’s travelling, I made something of a fuss. This attracted the attention of the night manager, who sent out for takeaway food for me from a local restaurant, and would not accept payment, either for my food or for the drink that I had with it at the bar when it arrived. When I checked in, I was told that the concierge would be on duty at 10 the following day (Sunday). When I duly turned up at 10 am, wanting to arrange a private city, I learned that the concierge was “taking a couple of days off”. However, again, the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. One of the people on the front desk took over, arranged my tour for me, and give me good recommendations for sights to see. Even the door men were friendly and genuinely helpful. So, 5 stars for the amenities and the excellent staff. But why does such a great hotel catering for international travellers shut its kitchens at 10.30: and why does it only have one concierge? That means only 4 stars overall.

Excellent
GGuest User'Superfirstly', this La Quintas has the most amazing staff; above and beyond assistance, friendly, welcoming, kind and I mean EVERY staff member we encountered from desk to behind the scenes who we passed in the elevator, arriving at work, EVERYONE!!! deep appreciation to staff members, Diamond who literally 'concierged' us in, and was in charge of our floor and, Kumani who lent us an umbrella, Tracy who was so kind when he came to attend to the TV that was in fact working, the Check in staff on the afternoon of the 27th July who gave great advice and the staff member who brought us additional toiletries we required. (edit) one super comfortable pillow out of the 3 on each bed and a firm, comfortable mattress - perfect for us.
Firstly, it was practically, fantastically 10 minutes' walk into Downtown via the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge for sights over the Cumberland River of Downtown and the Nissan Stadium. It's been modernised compared to La Quintas elsewhere, but do not order the Onion Rings at the bar (horrid)! the 'dry rubbed wings' were great! Otherwise, the bar and seating/lounge area is welcoming, but I never tried the breakfast.
The car park was easily accessible and one of the best prices in the area. All in all, our experience at La Quintas in Nashville, Stadium contributed positively to our overall fantastic short stay and hopefully, building works (no noise) across the way will be complete when we stay again in the future.

Very Good
GGuest UserGreat place to stay, not plush or full of amenities but, the beds were comfortable, the rooms clean. Very faint odor of smoke but not so much that it bothered my very sensitive nose. And, all at a budget friendly price.
GGuest UserMy wife and I go to Nashville about twice a year. We have stayed here before but only for a night. This time we stayed for 7 nights. At over $300 a night, If you are wanting all the creature comforts that normal hotels have, move on. This is a place to sleep and you gotta work if you need more than that. Here is what I like about it. It is on the strip, so once you are about to pass out from drinking all day, you are only a short stumble to your room. Also, they always have a singer in the lobby so if your just close to passing out, but not quite done, you can always chill in the lobby for one more drink. The hotel is pretty new, so it is pretty clean. Here is the bad. They must have a lock on how low you can put the temperature of your room. We set it to 66 but the room never got any colder than 70. Sometimes at night it was up to 72 so we were hot all night and woke up sweating. House keeping is ”on demand” they will not clean your room if you do not specifically request it. I had to request it twice, because nobody cleaned it the first day that I asked. The toilet seat was broken in the room we had. (not fall off broken, but not attached properly and would slide around) The roll of toilet paper on the actual dispenser had gotten wet before we checked in and god only knows what from, we had to use the other unopened roll on the counter. The rooms do not have an ironing board and iron, the hotel has a community ironing room. They have one iron and no boards. The first time I stayed there, they had an ironing board, this time, they had a table with towels over it. They have a water station to fill the iron with water for steam, but it didn't work. You could hear it clicking, but nothing ever came out. the table to iron on is square so you cant easily get a shirt on it properly to iron it and the towels are just laid there so they keep flipping up when you move the shirt and making a bump under it. the room does have USB ports, but the ones on the right side of the bed did not work. They have what they call a rooftop bar, but the bar is inside and they have a tiny little area that has about 4 tables and tiny stage outside. The restaurant prices are comparable to fine dining. 4 drinks, and a shrimp cocktail almost $200. (4 shrimp for $25) Nashville is expensive, but you can go next door and get a full meal for less. (on the bright side, door dash gives you lots of options just pick it up at the check-in area in the lobby. They will tell you that you get a complimentary drink when you check in, but don't be misled, this is either a Bud Light or some fruity drink that has almost no liquor in it.

Very Good
Disappointed to say the least from this Hilton Property. Extremely nice people such as (Simone-front desk & Savannah in resturant) and others. However the resturant had fruit Flies which is annoying when trying to eat. We stayed on the 8th floor; the 1st, 7th and 8th floors needed to be vacuumed not only when exiting the elevator but many places. Our shower went on and off 2 different occasions which again is frustrating when trying to shower and had to cut my shower time extremely short. This was brought to the attention of maintenance with a small amount taken off our bill. I also questioned my bill as the package I purchased was to include breakfast, yet I was charged additional by looking at my itemized bill. I had many options to stay in downtown Nashville but chose here, but unfortunately I think that was a mistake.

GGuest UserMy daughter and I stayed at the Hilton for a Mother/Daughter trip to Nashville over Labor Day weekend. It is a great hotel in a wonderful location. It is just a short drive to Broadway and the hotel offers a free shuttle anywhere within 3 miles, which is a HUGE bonus. This amenity saves parking fees and headaches. Tony, one of the many amazing shuttle drivers was our favorite. He was great! The front desk staff was also incredibly helpful and friendly. Kierra and Alanta helped us with recommendations and getting the shuttle scheduled when we needed it. Al, one of the managers was incredibly hospitable the day the elevator was being repaired and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of in the best way possible. I recommend purchasing the breakfast plan. The breakfast was great, however, the service was a bit lacking there. Joseph was our waiter the first day and went out of his way to ensure we had excellent service, however, the other 3 mornings the service was non-existent and slow, but we managed anyway. It is still a great value. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. Housekeeping was also friendly. The valet desk was more than helpful with anything we needed. We will definitely recommend this hotel to others and stay again on our next visit. Great job!!! Keep up the great service!

JJanice EThe hotel is nicely appointed. The room was very clean and in great condition. The staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast bar had great choices and good coffee. I didn’t get to use the pool but hope to give it a try the next time I’m in Nashville.
AAlways&ForeverVacationsA wonderful hotel located just a few minutes from downtown and Broadway. Our room had a great view of the city, which I really enjoyed. It's a great option for those who like a little peace and relaxation in between wild extravaganzas on the main *****s. The shuttle driver was very friendly and the service made it easy and convenient to get to and from Broadway. If you're looking to venture out to other areas or at different times than the shuttle runs, you'll find it's also very easy to get an Uber and pretty affordable. It is also very easy to get to from Nashville Airport or to get on the highway to head to Memphis. The first morning we had breakfast downstairs, we were given a breakfast menu with four options including an omelet, breakfast sandwich, or waffles. I ordered an omelet, which came with home fries, for $13.99. The second morning was buffet style with grits, oats, scrambled eggs, meats, home fries, and some sort of spinach and egg white quiche. The buffet was $14.99 per person. While the food was decent and it did work for convenience while waiting for the rest of the group to get up and going, there's not much to rave about. I will mix it up and try other options next time. I didn't get a chance to try the other restaurant in the hotel, but maybe next time. Overall, it was a great stay I would choose again.
GGuest UserBooking was translated incorrectly from travel agent to hotel, assigned us to a room with 2 Queen beds after purchasing (for an upcharge) a Standard King room. The hotel staff was able to accommodate, which was great. The room itself was relatively clean, however the refrigerator was not cleaned out and we had to dispose of the previous guest's leftovers. The pool was also closed for the season, which was a bummer for sure... even if we just wanted to hang out outside, the only seating options were 2 seats meant for smoking. I understand it would be difficult to prevent people from using the pool if it was closed, but an alternative outdoor seating option would've been nice.
Other then that, the location had convenient access to downtown Nashville and was proximal to some very cute hole-in-the wall bars and restaurants. Not an unpleasant stay, would still come back (for a 3rd time) if the pool was open. The rooms were equipped with both refrigerator and microwave and were more spacious that other chains I've stayed at. The price was amiable as well, given the lack of amenities.
GGuest UserWas in town for work. The location is excellent I am literally near everything food, shopping , hospital and work. I come here every few months to do covid-19 clean up training and I always stay here. These guys are the best. It's basic & simple with no hassle. No mess. No fuss. Friendly staff here will help with whatever may pop up. They are down to earth and will not bother you when you need rest. I need Day time sleep bc I work at night and these guys did not bother me about signing papers or key cards updated. When I woke up and got ready to go I stopped by the front desk and my booking paperwork was all good to go. I had to do a day by day reservation and they were cool with it. The price you cannot beat. The hotel down the street here was 197$ a night, with rewards. These guys were 72$ with rewards membership. It is safe. It is clean. Very Simple and easy to check in. I recommend this hotel to anyone needing to be near anything in Nashville. Work. Play. Business. There isn't a pool ,but I haven't seen anyone swimming in hotel pools since before the pandemic. So it is not a deal breaker lol They get all 5 stars from me! Thank you for not being complicated and all in my business while I was crazy training and visiting my dad while he was at St. Thomas with Open Heart Surgery. Thank you and God bless.
GGuest UserThe check in process was standard. The clerk was pleasant. There is a working elevator to the second and third floors, this is a plus since we were on the second floor. The room was really dated, old carpet with many stains, old appliances (the fridge had rust and stains) old sink and tub with missing parts, but in working order. The room had a very strong smell of smoke even though the room was supposed to be a smoke free room. We contacted the front desk and they stated it was due to the AC pulling in outdoor air, not so sure I believe that one, no concession was offered. I would not stay here again without an update to the rooms.
