Very good. I saw the rating of 4.5 before booking, so I was a little worried. I found that this was the only five-star hotel nearby, so I went there directly. I was not disappointed. The room is large, clean, separated from the wet and dry areas, with a bathtub, and the waiters are friendly. It is a good place to stop by on the highway. Such a five-star hotel would cost thousands in other cities. The breakfast room is very grand, and the key is that it is clean and hygienic. The breakfast is very rich, equipped according to the five-star hotel, with freshly cooked porridge, noodles, omelets, and a rich pastry area. The fruits are fresh and delicious 😋. I stayed here once 3 years ago and I thought it was the most cost-effective hotel in Yanping. But now it’s really no longer possible. If the faucet is broken, it will not be repaired, and if the wall is damaged, it will not be maintained.
I communicated with the hotel where I checked in at 4 o'clock in the morning to extend the check-out time without affecting the check-in of other guests. The hotel refused straight away and called me at 11 o'clock in the morning, which was super frustrating.
Of course, we have something to say, the breakfast is quite good, the lady who makes breakfast is also very nice, and the security uncle at the front desk is also a good person!

The hotel I stayed at this time was very comfortable, the beds were soft and comfortable, the room was well equipped and well run, and the sound insulation was very good. I was scared to see a lot of bad reviews before, but the price/performance ratio is really high. The server at the front desk is also very considerate. The check-out system is 24 hours. The lady at the front desk even delayed my stay. The breakfast was also good and it was the end time. It's a bit early, and there was no malicious price increase during May Day. I stayed in a round bed room with river view. The scenery is quite beautiful and the area is large. Compared to the Accord, it is very close to the city. Takeaways can be delivered upstairs and smoking is allowed. Come to this hotel in Yanping Don’t miss it!

SSharonWe were delighted to have found and stayed at this property. Minzhushanfang is a very new bed-and-breakfast accommodation with a minimalist, calming, zen-style architecture befitting of the Wuyishan area. The rooms are similarly designed along the same minimalist, zen concept and are true to the property photos published on the booking platform. We deliberately chose an accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of town and so, found the location of Mingzhushanfang excellent. Located directly across from the entrance of the Wuyishan scenic area, it was very convenient accessing the park while being peaceful and tranquil. Do note that with its location being away from town centre, dining options at or near the property aren't many, so having dinner near town, prior to heading back to the hotel at night is strongly recommended.
The room we booked has a peaceful stream view, and looks remotely across towards the Dawangfeng peak. Room and facilities are very clean. While it seems smoking is not prohibited in the rooms, we were very thankful we had no issues whatsoever with residual smoke odour.
The owners of this property, who are also tea growers and manufacturers, were extremely hospitable. We were always welcomed for candid tea tastings and conversation at the lobby area, They even went out of their way to help us when we got abit lost in town! Their breakfast made by their Ah Yi is wholesome and amazing - with a lot of farm-to-table ingredients freshly harvested from their own vegetable patch. I would love to go back to visit Wuyishan again and will not hestiate to stay at Minzhushanfang again.

I was a female solo traveler that never been to china before and doesn’t speak the local language and I was so blessed that I booked this place , the owner Lily is speaking good english and she is go above and beyond to help n accommodate my stay beautifully . She help with my itinerary and she even being my go to call when I need help with translate. The sisters ( that is the receptionist ladies ) is also eager to please with anything that we need, truly there is no other place to stay is better in the area if you are looking for a great place to stay , served with warm heart and many upgraded for free. I am definitely suggest this place when you are visiting wuyishan. Thank you dear beautiful ladies team of Dafangju 🫶🏻❤️👏🏻

AAnja 安雅Lovely resort very out in the green, whilst close to Wuyigong palace, all peaks (Tianyoufeng, Dawangfeng, Shuilian Cave) as well as Duiia Qu for food. You can basically walk everywhere if you have enough time. The room was spacious and clean, the service was excellent, there is also a small travel agency that can take you for tea tasting and seeing how they grow and produce tea in Wuyishan. Breakfast was good, rather Chinese though. Receptionists were lovely and helpful, as well as room service. We had a great stay and would highly recommend.

AAnonymous UserThis is the most unlike Holiday Inn I have ever stayed in. The hardware conditions of the hotel are still there. It is in a villa area (the villa area is a bit deserted with homestays, tea companies, and abandoned empty houses). The hotel service is not very good, which may be related to the level of development of the city where the hotel is located. The roomserves order was actually delivered to the room in a takeaway box without a bowl. The beer ordered was not given in cans. The glass bottle was not given a bottle opener. The food was cold when we kept waiting for everything to be delivered. The most speechless thing is that the double-decker family room with a room rate of 965 per night actually charges a buffet breakfast for children 1.1 meters tall! ! ! Shocked! ! I have lived in InterContinental hotels for more than 10 years. This is the first time I have encountered a buffet breakfast standard of 1.1 meters instead of 1.2 meters! ! The key is that there is nothing to eat for breakfast! ! I only ate half a sweet potato and a glass of boiled water! ! 😓😓When leaving, the child accidentally fell on his knee. The hotel did not have ice packs or other emergency measures. It only took a plastic bag to pack a bag of ice cubes. When checking out, the front desk gave a small box of tea. Considering there are no other international chains near Wuyi Mountain, I still stayed for another night 😮💨

OOtautahianFrom the hotel I could walk to Wuyi Palace (near the north entrance) in about 20 minutes. It is on the main road but not loud, and everything was modern and clean. The staff were helpful and considerate: when I purchased breakfast at check in, the receptionist told me that the hotel had a lot of guests, so suggested I arrive at breakfast later so I would have a seat.
I found this to be a charming small hotel.

When we checked in, the lady at the front desk gave our children free breakfast. She also introduced us to a half-day tour. Room 8310 is extra large, with a living room and a tea room. You can see Dawangfeng. Thank you for your hard work to the lady cleaning the room...
There is a restaurant opposite the hotel, and it is also very close to Sangu Street, which takes about ten minutes. The main impression is that Dahongpao is just a wall away😀
