Due to unforeseen circumstances , I ended up staying at The Golden Eagle Summit hotel. Check-in was smooth. The location is perfect! The hotel’s entrance was at the back, while the front part is a mall with lots of shops, restaurants and a supermarket. Also, the metro station is right there which was so convenient! The room decor is a bit old fashioned, but nevertheless very clean. The breakfast buffet was ok, but needs more variety. The service is great! Great place to stay in the downtown area!

The location of the hotel is not difficult to find. It is surrounded by residential buildings and snack restaurants. It feels safe! It is about 10 minutes' walk from the nearest subway station, Daxinggong. It is very convenient to take the subway to various attractions. I booked a single room because I came out alone. The room is small but the facilities are complete. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, and the shower is super comfortable! The hygiene is also good. The front desk lady is kind and friendly, and the service is thoughtful. The only small regret is that there is no elevator in the building. Girls still need to trouble the staff to help with heavy luggage. Other than that, everything is good. I will stay here again when I come to Nanjing next time!!!!

The views were amazing especially at night. Thankful that we were able to do our laundry onsite since we’ll be traveling for some time. Love the convenience. It rained the day we checked out but since it’s really close to the metro we didn’t get wet.

This hotel is the most satisfying thing about this trip to Nanjing! I took my children out to play together. My family liked it very much and said I was good at choosing. Haha. The hotel is located in a courtyard next to Deji Square. It is quiet in the bustle. The greenery inside is very good, like a garden. There are many lush French plane trees inside. I like it very much! The sound insulation in the room is very good. It is very quiet once the doors and windows are closed. Even a light sleeper like me can stay up all night. It is really shocking. Less than one kilometer away is the most prosperous commercial district in Nanjing! Best of all, parking is free! And the yard is very large, making it easy to park. The pillows, mattresses and quilts in the room are all very comfortable. This hotel just updated its equipment this year, so the equipment is very new and there is no decoration smell at all. It is really cost-effective to find such a store in the core area of ​​Xinjiekou. I will still choose this hotel if I have the opportunity to visit in the future. I hope the price will not increase then!

The first time I stayed at an e-sports hotel, it was a different experience from ordinary ones. The technology was full. The robot sent things. The clerk was also very enthusiastic. There were several small animals. There were cats that were very docile. Cats could be licked. There were also small turtles. Fish and the like, it is a pity that I can stay in Nanjing for two days. I stayed for two days and left. The location is particularly good. Shopping and shopping. It is very convenient to take a taxi. I love it.

The location was excellent, and the open facilities were very good. I understand it's a ”China thing” that prevents outdoor swimming pools from being open to the public other than July - August - but it's ridiculous and one that a 5-star hotel should change. You advertise having an indoor and outdoor pool; however, 85% of the entire year, it is closed.... so how can you say you have an outdoor pool? It's false advertising. It was 32 degrees this weekend and perfect weather for the outdoor pool, but you didn't have it open - thus, I took away two stars on facilities. The service in the restaurant was EXCELLENT on the 45th floor, extremely good and well worth the 5stars; the front desk people also on the 1st floor incredible; however, the service in the (the indoor!!!) swimming pool was extremely average - feeling like being served from student intern vs. any 5star customer service at all. The service in the bar on the 78th floor was highly average. also, for 5star, with us having to ask for drinks and not a single smile when serving the drinks, while the 78th-floor views are breathtaking, the service was let down. Last but not least, our parents-in-law traveled with us and rang the front desk for help with the TV. They rang twice, and they were waiting for someone to help them. I have stayed at Intercontinental Hotels in other locations, and the service is always very good. While some departments at this location were good, they needed to be more balanced by the inconsistency of the other departments.

The hotel is very near to the subway and some universities. Overall the room was nice and clean, no smoke and other smells that disturbs.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Service was professional and quick. I like the fact that this hotel is a tall building and from my room there was a nice view on the city. Hotel is located close to the metro station which is very convenient.
