Booked 3 club rooms for 3 separate nights during a multi-stop tour through Kenya. The Stanley and the 1902 lounge were one of the highlights of our trip and we would definitely stay here again and specifically book the club rooms. First of all, the staff were incredible - Emilie, Collins, Benson (1902 lounge butlers), Steve (concierge) and Susan (management) deserve special recognition. They all went above and beyond to ensure our stay was amazing. The 1902 lounge is well worth the upgrade. Soft drinks and snacks during the day, and an incredible happy hour daily from 6-8 with hard drinks and hors d'oeuvres. And if your flight is later the day of checkout, you can use the lounge throughout the day. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive. We tried all 3 restaurants during our stay - The Thorn Tree cafe provides an excellent breakfast and is good for lunch. Both the Thai Chi and Pool Deck restaurants were excellent dinner choices. If you are heading on Safari or to Mombasa you can leave the luggage you don't need with the concierge, taking only the things you need for that part of the trip. This makes traveling so much easier. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious and well-appointed. As we returned to the Stanley from one of the legs of our trip, we all remarked that it felt like we were ”coming home”. Would highly recommend.

This review is a little late, but I still have to praise the Nairobi Marriott Hotel! ! ! Because the JW Hotel in Nairobi made me fall in love with this city! ! ! This review is not exaggerated. As a person who stays in a hotel 200 days a year, I still have a little experience in staying in a hotel. First of all, I have traveled to most of Africa and stepped on countless pitfalls. The overall accommodation experience in Africa is indeed a bit sour 😜. JW is definitely cost-effective in Africa! Although Africa is not short of old luxury hotels (the prices are also eye-popping 🤐). But JW can definitely be called a new star in high-end hotels in Africa. The hotel building is a Gemini glass curtain wall with a modern architectural style. It is also a new landmark in Nairobi now (and we can proudly say that this hotel was built by our Chinese company)! ! ! 😁😁😁 The decoration and hardware maintain JW's consistent high standards and high taste, while also incorporating African style. The gifts with African characteristics in the handicraft sales area are also sold at a conscience price. It is said that they are carefully selected by big names in various African countries, and the price is very affordable. If you want to buy handicrafts and gifts, it is recommended to choose from JW first. I really feel that I am wasting time after visiting N legendary handicraft markets and flea markets. They are completely incomparable to JW. The most important thing is that the goods are genuine and you don’t have to worry about buying expensive or fake goods! ! ! (I always suspect that JW is worried that its guests will be cheated, so it specially helps guests to screen so many good things in advance), because the price is really touching, and I thought I heard it wrong several times, because it is cheaper than the market! ! ! The breakfast is very international and can basically meet the different tastes of guests from all over the world. It is recommended to go early, because there are really too many types, and you can’t taste them in a short time... 😅😅😅. There are several specialty restaurants from different countries for dinner, American steakhouse, Asian fusion cuisine, the dishes are excellent, and the decoration design is also very innovative! I really love the spa and the traditional Kenyan tendon massage opposite the hotel. I still can't leave after three consecutive massages... I strongly recommend to experience it. It's a rare relaxation during the journey. After the massage, you can definitely be fully revived! ! ! The Golden Key helped us customize the perfect travel route. We could have gone to Masai Mara to chase the Big Five of Africa and gallop across the vast African savannah... (childhood dream) Unfortunately, we caught up with the once-in-a-century flood in Kenya, so we didn't get on JW's handsome mecha tank 😂😂😂. Because the hotel has just opened, the linens are all new and the mattresses are very comfortable. The coffee downstairs is Kenyan coffee. After drinking it, I feel that the so-called Kenyan coffee I drank before is all made of beans? It is full of floral and fruity aroma, and it doesn't taste like coffee. Desserts must be eaten! ! ! Exquisite and delicious! Finally, a big surprise: Jacky, the manager of this hotel, is Chinese! ! ! Check in or need any assistance, just find Jacky!!! Don't be shy to find him, Jacky is so reliable and professional!!! He has super professional knowledge of hotels, there is no question that can be asked, and he actually knows all the well-known companies and brands in all industries!!! It is common sense that Marriott's hotel training system is well done, but the knowledge capacity of senior management is too terrible!!! Finally, I found that the flight issued by Trip.com may be another airline, but fortunately, I finally left. To Kenya, at night to the hotel, the front desk told me that there was no reservation message. Fortunately, the customer service was still at 2:30 in the morning. After half an hour, the problem was dealt with. It was said that it was a system reason. I wanted to roll my eyes. The front desk said that I just received the agent's reservation. I don't want to talk to Trip.com about ］. Domestic can be said to be the four-star standard of the hotel more than ten years ago, clean and tidy, no toiletries and disposable slippers. The sound insulation is relatively poor, the glass windows are not closed, and the wind will be very loud. The staff is very good, the meeting will be very warm to say hello, will take the initiative to help solve the problem. Breakfast is OK, can eat enough, it is estimated that the restaurant is darker, resulting in not much appetite to see anything. There are not too many types of fruit every day, and pineapple is very sweet. The surrounding location is also safe, very close to the taxi.

I stayed in this hotel for 10 nights on 07 March 2024. The room were very clean I even left a tip for the room cleaner for the first time in my life. Really, Everything was lovely, breakfast, food on rooftop restaurant and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Definately I will be coming back. Happy customer, Kate😃

Best service ever. Friendly staff and very welcoming. Safe area, clean and very nice breakfast which is made for you as like it personally. The staffs are very nice people. They do everything you would like you'd ask. ASAP! Thanks to all staff working there from the guards to chefs to the receptionist. Especially receptionist Ann and others who are working at night. I will book this hotel every time I'm going to be visiting Nairobi and also the hotel is very safe for your valuable staffs. there's a safe at the room but your other bigger stafs like laptobs are also safe Thanks, Ann and Others that work mostly at night. You guys made my vacation unforgettable.

This is a very decent hotel. What is great about it is the very high standards of service. All personnel were polite, professional, capable and helpful. The room was a standard one with all necessary amenities. Time and usage have taken their toll on the bathroom and some of the furniture. The towels were very tired and the hairdryer dirty and sticky , something that made an overall unpleasant impression. Breakfast was satisfactory with a variety of options. The hotel is not centrally located in Nairobi and the area around it, though interesting and vibrant, does not offer many opportunities to stroll around. We felt safe and well taken care of and this is important. Given the Marriot-Bonvoy association of the Four Points franchise and our Elite membership, we expected an upgrade, but we did not get one.

Unexpectedly big! ! ! I don't know if it was arranged. I have one bedroom and one living room, which has become an oversized three bedrooms and two living rooms. Clean, well-equipped apartment, including microwave, oven, refrigerator, tableware, kitchenware, pots, parking lot downstairs, security is tight, visitors need to verify their identity to enter, Nairobi apartment ceiling.

On the day I arrived - they seemed to have been facing electrical problems for past week. So lifts, doors, and electricity in rooms were not working properly. It appeared to have been resolved on the day I left. I booked because of closeness to airport and train station. They offer complimentary pick up and drop off. They were very nice to offer a late checkout until I left for the airport. Has a big gym, a nice pool and pretty good breakfast. Be aware that there is literally nothing around the hotel - so you can’t really go for a walk or just go grab something to eat.
