Booked 3 club rooms for 3 separate nights during a multi-stop tour through Kenya. The Stanley and the 1902 lounge were one of the highlights of our trip and we would definitely stay here again and specifically book the club rooms. First of all, the staff were incredible - Emilie, Collins, Benson (1902 lounge butlers), Steve (concierge) and Susan (management) deserve special recognition. They all went above and beyond to ensure our stay was amazing. The 1902 lounge is well worth the upgrade. Soft drinks and snacks during the day, and an incredible happy hour daily from 6-8 with hard drinks and hors d'oeuvres. And if your flight is later the day of checkout, you can use the lounge throughout the day. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive. We tried all 3 restaurants during our stay - The Thorn Tree cafe provides an excellent breakfast and is good for lunch. Both the Thai Chi and Pool Deck restaurants were excellent dinner choices. If you are heading on Safari or to Mombasa you can leave the luggage you don't need with the concierge, taking only the things you need for that part of the trip. This makes traveling so much easier. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious and well-appointed. As we returned to the Stanley from one of the legs of our trip, we all remarked that it felt like we were ”coming home”. Would highly recommend.

Anthony, a trainee at the concierge, was super friendly and helpful. Super professionalism made my stay rewarding. The breakfast was very good but the room wifi was very weak and cannot be connected. Location is great and restaurant Kilimanjaro, riverside shuttle station are within walking distance.

The hotel is opened by the Chinese, the room is large, the bed is large, and the standard room in Africa has been living for so long. The standard double bed of this hotel is the largest.

The staff in this beautiful hotel is friendly, welcoming and helpful. The ambience is very tropical- relaxed and casual. The walls are adorned with African textiles, traditional implements, weapons etc. Rooms are luxurious and all the public areas are comfortable and tastefully presented. There is a large pool, excellent gym (I’m told), and the massages are well worth it. A jewel in a large busy city

This review is a little late, but I still have to praise the Nairobi Marriott Hotel! ! ! Because the JW Hotel in Nairobi made me fall in love with this city! ! ! This review is not exaggerated. As a person who stays in a hotel 200 days a year, I still have a little experience in staying in a hotel. First of all, I have traveled to most of Africa and stepped on countless pitfalls. The overall accommodation experience in Africa is indeed a bit sour 😜. JW is definitely cost-effective in Africa! Although Africa is not short of old luxury hotels (the prices are also eye-popping 🤐). But JW can definitely be called a new star in high-end hotels in Africa. The hotel building is a Gemini glass curtain wall with a modern architectural style. It is also a new landmark in Nairobi now (and we can proudly say that this hotel was built by our Chinese company)! ! ! 😁😁😁 The decoration and hardware maintain JW's consistent high standards and high taste, while also incorporating African style. The gifts with African characteristics in the handicraft sales area are also sold at a conscience price. It is said that they are carefully selected by big names in various African countries, and the price is very affordable. If you want to buy handicrafts and gifts, it is recommended to choose from JW first. I really feel that I am wasting time after visiting N legendary handicraft markets and flea markets. They are completely incomparable to JW. The most important thing is that the goods are genuine and you don’t have to worry about buying expensive or fake goods! ! ! (I always suspect that JW is worried that its guests will be cheated, so it specially helps guests to screen so many good things in advance), because the price is really touching, and I thought I heard it wrong several times, because it is cheaper than the market! ! ! The breakfast is very international and can basically meet the different tastes of guests from all over the world. It is recommended to go early, because there are really too many types, and you can’t taste them in a short time... 😅😅😅. There are several specialty restaurants from different countries for dinner, American steakhouse, Asian fusion cuisine, the dishes are excellent, and the decoration design is also very innovative! I really love the spa and the traditional Kenyan tendon massage opposite the hotel. I still can't leave after three consecutive massages... I strongly recommend to experience it. It's a rare relaxation during the journey. After the massage, you can definitely be fully revived! ! ! The Golden Key helped us customize the perfect travel route. We could have gone to Masai Mara to chase the Big Five of Africa and gallop across the vast African savannah... (childhood dream) Unfortunately, we caught up with the once-in-a-century flood in Kenya, so we didn't get on JW's handsome mecha tank 😂😂😂. Because the hotel has just opened, the linens are all new and the mattresses are very comfortable. The coffee downstairs is Kenyan coffee. After drinking it, I feel that the so-called Kenyan coffee I drank before is all made of beans? It is full of floral and fruity aroma, and it doesn't taste like coffee. Desserts must be eaten! ! ! Exquisite and delicious! Finally, a big surprise: Jacky, the manager of this hotel, is Chinese! ! ! Check in or need any assistance, just find Jacky!!! Don't be shy to find him, Jacky is so reliable and professional!!! He has super professional knowledge of hotels, there is no question that can be asked, and he actually knows all the well-known companies and brands in all industries!!! It is common sense that Marriott's hotel training system is well done, but the knowledge capacity of senior management is too terrible!!! If you are interested in the hotel industry, you must find this great god to chat when you have the chance! A rare learning opportunity!!! It's a pity that I forgot to take more photos of the hotel interior, and only took some photos of the breakfast restaurant, so it may not reflect the excellence of JW. Best service ever. Friendly staff and very welcoming. Safe area, clean and very nice breakfast which is made for you as like it personally. The staffs are very nice people. They do everything you would like you'd ask. ASAP! Thanks to all staff working there from the guards to chefs to the receptionist. Especially receptionist Ann and others who are working at night. I will book this hotel every time I'm going to be visiting Nairobi and also the hotel is very safe for your valuable staffs. there's a safe at the room but your other bigger stafs like laptobs are also safe Thanks, Ann and Others that work mostly at night. You guys made my vacation unforgettable.

I spent 4 nights at the hotel for a business event. The staff were kind and very helpful. Grace who cleans on the second floor was particularly very helpful, she made sure my room was super clean and fully stocked. The gym at the rooftop is a bit small but very helpful. There is also a swimming pool and a minibar at the rooftop. The manager, Mr Dominic was also very kind and charming and welcomed us to breakfast cheerfully. There is a tall guy who works at the reception and he was very kind and helpful when checking in. Facilities are top notch and the check-in process is smooth. Room service is available 24/7 via the intercom phones. Security is also very tight. The food is extremely tasty and the menu changes every day. They have a lot of bacon during breakfast which is a solid 10/10. The only issue I faced was the non-labeling of bidet washrooms. The hotel should label bidet washrooms for guests who prefer bidets. Otherwise my stay was super awesome.

The breakfast buffet had an excellent array of choices and everything on offer was enjoyable. The staff was helpful and courteous. The security process and security doors and card access only areas seemed a bit over the top but we did indeed feel secure. We enjoyed a delicious Christmas Eve dinner on the top floor of the hotel. It was a memorable experience. My only complaint is that though I had the air conditioning on and temperature set to cool the room a bit, the unit was running during our two day stay and never cooled the room or reached the temperature chosen. Also the in room phone did not work. I did request a maintenance person come to check on both f these issues and no one ever came. The bed was very comfortable and the modern style of the room was nice.

The staff at Four Points are Hurlingham are fantastic. They are excellent at customer service - which is what makes my stays memorable. The dedication and care that I receive every time I stay will keep me coming back. Every day as I leave for and return from work, I am greeted by the reception staff, housekeeping staff, security staff and welcomed with a smile by Pablo’s restaurant staff (Faith is exceptionally pleasant). The quality of food is top notch thanks to Chef Howard and his team (including but not limited to Chef Dominic, Beryl, Clarice and Chef Danstand). For my most recent trip, I made a request to have my dietary needs accommodated and everything I asked for was done with such professionalism and kindness that I feel truly cared for. One tip for those who have not been to Nairobi before, be prepared to be requested to comply to the security checks on entry into the hotel. It may seem burdensome however, it is necessary due to the historical context of Kenya. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who asks me for places to stay on business in Nairobi.
