The Fox

Stayed over for New Years, room was clean warm and had all amenities that you would expect. Had a warm welcome from the owner who showed us to our room and was attentive to anything we would need. The building is in keeping with the quaint town of Much Wenlock. Ideally placed on the main street with a car park to the rear. Would recommend to any one wanting a short break in this area, Breakfast was a very filling full English but other choices were available too.

Stayed here in August was attending a family party at another venue in the evening so only sampled the drinks in the bar and then stayed the evening after the party. Spoke to both Liz and Olivia who own and run the Fox great hosts, Liz told me about some of their plans and the pub is working progress for them. Nice room comfy beds great breakfast everything you need. Hope to return one day and enjoy their hospitality some more and all that Much Wenlock has to offer

This is our third time having the Pensioners lunch offered on Tuesdays. Cannot recommend enough this wonderful lunch special . The staff are lovely, friendly and nothings to much to ask. Food service is fast, piping hot meals. The deserts to die for. The syrup sponge w/custard. The chocolate fudge cake superior. Many thanks. See you next Tuesday.

Annual catch up with the family. 7 of us and a new baby. Chose our meals from the daily menu, couldn't fault the value, service and lovely food. We were all made to feel very welcome. Thank you Liz, Olivia and the team. X

Beautiful rooms in such a beautiful little town. The owners are so friendly and helpful and have a real care for dogs. First time taking our dog with us somewhere and he absolutely loved it especially when was given a sausage for breakfast ☺️. The food here was also very delicious and very filling. If you want somewhere to go with your dogs this is definitely the place to go with lovely walks near by. Would recommend travelling to Carding Mill Valley for a walk around 25 minutes from The Fox. Thank you so much for a lovely stay.

We stayed for 2 nights B&B and had dinner 1 night. Pros Very friendly staff, a lovely welcome and great service. Amazing breakfast. The best breaded brie EVER. Generous portions. Very clean room. Lovely towels. Parking easy both days. The hilarious instructions for the shower in room 2. Cons Nothing big at all, just a few tips to enhance the guests stay. Maybe replace the stair carpet as it is dirty. I realise that a pet friendly place makes this difficult, but it would give a better first impression. The sight of so many flavoured gins made me look forward to trying them all but sadly there was no lemonade on either night, not even cans. I was gutted and we just went out for drinks. It really is a good place to stay and the above points are being picky. Thank you for a lovely stay.
