The village includes a top-flight restaurant (Gadus) with delicious included breakfasts as well as dinner if you so choose. The staff is warm and friendly, and there is even a washer-dryer right on premises for use by the hotel’s guests. Best of all, the location is perfect, within a short drive of truly amazing hikes like Reinebringen and Ryten Mountain/Kvalvika Beach. The hardest part of our whole trip to Norway was having to leave this very special place!

I stayed with my girlfriend in this small hotel in lovely Reine in August. We were pleasantly surprised by how nice the place is: starting with morning yoga, good self-catering facilities and a bright room facing out to sea. The actual stay was great. However, I left some clothes behind by mistake and have now spent a month trying to get the hotel to send them back to me. It's a series of unanswered mails, messages and calls. This reminds me that when we were going there we also had the experience of not getting replies to our messages. I don't know how a tourist facility can function with such poor communications. Its just a shame that the time there is now a bit spoilt.
