They consider themselves a resource and it is not clear why more like a hostel. Nice room, has hot water. The area is good. The food is nothing and the price is expensive for what you get

The location was good, as it was very close to the bus stop and convenience store. Unfortunately not very close to the beach. But the tricycle ride is about 15 minutes to get there. The pool was amazing and we enjoyed the slides and having facilities for children. The breakfast was not good and extremely basic. Our room was spacious but the water heater was hidden under the sink, and we had to endure cold showers until we complained and they showed us. The staff was friendly and helpful. Considering the overall price, you get what you pay for, with a little extra. Would recommend for a 1-2 night stay, but not longer.

Overpriced for what you get, no included bottles of water. Great if you want to go scuba diving. But not so great if you want the pool for swimming. Since they use the pool for scuba lessons. Great views

This is the hotel I always visit every time I go to Moalboal. It is the best value for money. The staff is very friendly, the location is very quiet, and the interior of the hotel is clean.

Very good location
Just a few minutes walk to the beach. There are many restaurants and dive shops nearby.
The environment is beautiful and quiet. You can already see sea turtles on the beach.
If I come to Moxiang again, I will stay here again

The hotel is very convenient, but there are no toothbrushes or hairdryers in the room, and the safe is old and requires a key lock.

Pic on web site and Agoda look great, but when you get there it’s all disappointing. Pool out of action, and nothing positive to say about the rest of it all. In the defence they did offer pool in next resort, but still not the same, as that resort doesn’t really want you there and it feels that way
Response from Property: Hi Barry, Thank you for your review, feedback is always appreciated. We're sorry at this time we did not meet your expectations, our pool is currently being refurbished, a decision we made at the start of our low season to minimize inconvenience, and we expect to reopen the pool very shortly. Nevertheless, we do want to ensure all our guests experience a warm welcome during their stay, and rest assured this is a perception we will address. Thanks,

The staff at the dive center is very competent and friendly. We immediately felt welcome. I completed a refresher course because I hadn't been diving for three years. Thank you Audrey, I felt very comfortable and understood. All in all, there is a lot of attention paid to customers, no rush or stress. Thanks Corinna and Frank

The hotel bungalows were nice, simple but comfortable, clean, and beautiful. The pool area was also very nice. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The hotel breakfast was alright, not the tastiest ever but you definitely didn't go hungry with the portion sizes. As for the dive center, it was fantastic. John and all the divemasters were competent, friendly, and fun. The weather was against us on our trip, but they did their best to ensure we got as much out of our dives as possible. They handled almost everything about the equipment and such, so it was very easy and relaxed. Very enjoyable, I would highly recommend it.

This is a professional and welcoming dive school / resort. The staff is notably friendly and treat their guests with the same degree of care and concern they would their own family. John (Manager) went over the top to help ensure my girlfriend experienced a great PADI Open Water Diving Course during our short stay. Lyn (her instructor) was equally fantastic- patient, cheerful, and helpful at every step. I did a dive with Arnel and was blown away by his knowledge and keen ability to find all sorts of interesting underwater creatures. And my interactions with the rest of the staff were equally warm and cheery, as well. Honestly, I loved my time here and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone considering a diving holiday in Moalboal. I'm so grateful I chose this place and hope to come back one day. Thank you John, Lyn, and everyone at Quo Vadis. Dan and Joy

The staff at Quo Vadis Dive Resort , were so welcoming & fantastic .. their dedication to service helped my four night stay , at this convenient located accommodation , as this " so called " resort is only a quick walk to the true Panagsama Beach area .. where the sardine diving activities occurs & also where the restaurants & bars are discovered However never out the seafront of this resort & Panagsama Beach itself , don’t have what I would exactly call a beach .. due to previous years of bad weather If you do go for a swim at either location , I highly recommend wearing beach shoes for protect I personally wasn’t impressed with the limited breakfast options & quantity .. needless to say - the staff in the restaurant were so pleasant The views are amazing from the restaurant & resort .. My room had nice hot water & great air conditioning .. however I found the beds were a short in vertical length .. so I had to sleep in a slanting position across two connecting single beds All together this Panagsama Beach accommodation was generally okay to the price

A return visit, this time we stayed in a bungalow, and it was a good option. The main room was clean, cool and large and the bathroom was a good size. Although located on the 'road', it is closed in the evening, so traffic and noise is not an issue at night. The verandah was a nice place to sit but the view was of the dive centre and a little noisy during the day. A better bungalow would be next to the pool or overlooking the sea. The pool was clean and refreshing in the morning, although after a day in the sun, it was tepid by the late afternoon. The sunloungers near the pool are plastic and do not recline, so unless you like to lie down on a small incline, they aren't particularly comfortable. Accessible to everything, it is a short walk to the Sardine Run and the Panagsama Beach area provides lots of dining options.

Quo Vadis is a solid resort by divers and for divers. Right on the world famous Moalboal reefs, with the Sardine run and Pescadore island. The staff and micro culture of Quo Vadis was so kind and chill. From John the manager, to my divemasters Ishmael, and Arnel, hotel staff April and Melanie, and even the guard Vince. I am experienced diver and everything was arranged perfectly. I recommend spending a tiny bit more and just having your own divemaster that way you can take your dives at your own pace and are not rushed / cut short by a group. The prices are so affordable that with a divemaster it is less than a group dive most anywhere in the world The room was clean and the AC worked great. The WiFi was weak but I didn't come for the WiFi! The restaurant was fine and again the staff simply could not have been more kind and helpful.
