Surpassed All Expectations The accommodation was exceptional, offering stunning views of the lake from our room, and the service was equally outstanding. The staff were incredibly welcoming—Claudia at the reception went above and beyond to ensure we got the room we preferred, while Darko and Silvia in the restaurant consistently provided excellent service, recommending delicious dishes that made every meal memorable. They made us feel like part of the family. The owner, from the Tacolis family, also made us feel at home, always greeting us warmly and engaging in delightful conversations. The combination of the breathtaking lake and mountain views, along with the top-notch restaurant service from Darko and Silvia and everyone at the See Villa truly made our stay special. Our one-week stay exceeded all expectations. Thank you for an unforgettable experience! Grateful Olenka and Catalin.

Staying at the See-Villa in Millstatt was a wonderful experience. We felt welcomed by all staff and we truly enjoyed the grandeur of staying at a villa, full of antiques and charms of another time. Our meals taken at the waterside and overlooking the lake were outright delicious and the service excellent. While dogs weren't allowed in the hotel garden & its lake-access (which we can understand), the staff was quick in pointing to alternative areas in Millstatt and across the lake, where we could enjoy swimming with our four-legged family members as well.

We were made very welcome at Hotel See-Villa from from the outset. Claudia in reception was always on hand to advise and was always friendly, very helpful and good fun too! Whilst there isn't a lift, and our room was on the second floor, the owner very graciously carried our bags to our room. He spent a considerable time explaining about the hotel facilities and its history. It was built as a hotel in 1894 by his great grandfather and is still a family owned and run hotel: and it shows by the attention to service etc. Our room was spacious, beautifully appointed and had a little balcony overlooking the lake. We could not have hoped for better. The dining room is brand new and quite exceptional and the food is exceptional. My wife and I are not big eaters and so we chose from the ala carte menu which suited us perfectly. Being situated on its own lake-side garden it facilitated meals on the terrace, swimming in a clear lake, access to SUPs, saunas and changing rooms in the boat house, which made it a perfectly contained location for us. Less than perfect: - no English menu, which made it a little embarrassing having to ask for a translation every dinner time, because we do not speak German. That said, almost every one of the staff spoke perfect English and were gracious, helpful and kind whilst helping us. - an English leaflet in the room, explaining the workings of the hotel, surrounding area etc would have been really helpful A really lovely 6 night stay and we would really love to return one day as we love Austria, its people and found, in Hotel See-Villa, the almost perfect place to stay. Thank you to the staff for our stay.

Such a beautiful hotel in an idyllic setting - a real treat. The hotel is directly on the water edge and the service at the hotel is very smooth - everyone is charming! We spent just one night there (hopefully we shall return for longer next time) and really couldn't fault it. We had a wonderful room overlooking the lake and our views were just breathtaking. Dinner was served outside on the terrace - the food was excellent and there was a lovely atmosphere - everything was perfect but it wasn't too stuffy. I am looking forward to our next, hopefully longer, stay at the See-Villa.

We have had several visits to this restaurant and all have been very satisfactory, with an interesting menu and very good food. Perhaps the most impressive factor in this dining experience is the helpful friendliness of the staff. If you want a good table overlooking the lake, table number four would be a good choice.

Nestled by the tranquil lakeside, this boutique hotel effortlessly blends historical charm with modern comfort. The panoramic view enhances the overall experience, creating a serene backdrop for your stay. The culinary journey was a highlight, with each dish reflecting a commitment to excellence. The hosts, with their warm hospitality, added a personal touch that elevated the entire visit. A solid 5, as every element harmoniously contributed to a truly memorable getaway.

there is no more beautiful location as the Sevilla, right on a pristine lake , quiet, no cars or trains to be heard, only a very occasional seagull. The Tacoli Family are charming and professional hosts, the food excellent, with a quite extraordinary wine selection, apparently each one tasted by Count AlexanderTacoli himself-wishing him good health. the service generally was very efficient ,the rooms nicely taken care of, the price all in all very reasonable. two small recommendations-I appreciate that most guests are from german speaking countries, but it would be nice have CNBC, CNN and a BBC news Channel available. and maybe a couple more shelves in the bathroom.but that 's it

A beautiful little hotel, family owned with attentive staff, clean classic rooms, in the middle of the village. The food is good, try to have it on the outside if weather permits. Parking is free and on premise. We were given a very nice room with lake view.

Went here for one night in January. It is a very nice old school hotel on the lake. Some rooms have a splendid view of the lake which is amazing. The room was clean and spacious but again I am not a big fan of the 19th century look. They also have a EV charger (Tesla destination) which we used, however it did not charge for the whole night for some reason. Breakfast was very good, however service at the breakfast was not that good due to them lacking staff. Reception service was good. All in all, a very nice hotel.
