The good: The room we're in (303) is American sized as is the firm bed, which is a touch larger than a queen. The bathroom is larger than many American hotel bathrooms and features a tub along with a shower. The front desk is manned 24 hours and the wifi is strong. The location is great for walking to the Last Supper (about 15 minutes), the Opera (4 minutes), and Duomo (5 minutes). The bad: The only quibbles we've had are the hairdryer being a little weak and the hot water isn't as hot as we'd like. Conclusion: This is a great place to stay if you're going to the opera as you don't have to get a ride to get back to your hotel. It is also close to a metro station (Duomo, on the M3 yellow line), though be aware that taking the subway to/from the hotel means dragging bags up many flights of stairs at each end of the metro line.

Very depressing. The road that leads to the property is lonely. The staff were not welcoming especially the front desk. There was no additional activities slated for customers. No in-dining. Although it was extremely close to the Duomo which is a plus, I guess. Not worth the $$$

Really wanted to like this hotel, but my experience was just not great. First of all the location is perfect. 1 minute walk from shopping, the Duomo and La Scala but still on a very quiet, unassuming street. The decor is unique, chic and quirky and the room and bathroom was very spacious. However, like others were saying the interior of the rooms are really dark with very poor lighting. If you want some natural sunlight, you have to open the window and pull back the curtains but they also face offices where everyone can see inside your room. There are only dark velvet curtains no white white back curtains that can provide at least some privacy and sunlight. There are shutters to let some air in and some privacy but then again no sunlight. Then there is the issue with the air conditioning. It was hot and humid in Milan when I was there, but the air conditioning for the room was weak. It wasn’t central air and the unit was again next to the window. The power was extreme weak and management was aware but didn’t improve during our stay. The unit was hidden behind the window curtains. So you either had the curtains open to let what little cooling you can get, but if you wanted privacy you had to close the curtains and cut off any air reaching the rest of the room. They were nice enough to provide a fan to help circulate the air but I was still sweating all night and made sleeping uncomfortable. You could also close the window shutters to allow for air and privacy but bugs starting flying in so that really wasn’t an option either. Also the wifi was pretty much nonexistent at least on the third floor. I addressed this with management and they said would check all the floor for signal strength but no improvement during the stay. Luckily I had my cellular service but warning if you need wifi for your computer, tablet, or you just don’t have cellular service. I hope this place makes some much needed upgrades and design changes because it could be a great boutique hotel.

This hotel has several important problems . One is the noise which make imposible to sleep if your room faces the street . Second the very poor attitude of the male staff - night and day - who did not help at all to solve the problems we have . Only Tania - a lovely lady - was empathetic and tried her best to. The male staff day and night and the managers who were absolutely absent and did not care at all about our problems of mosquitoes and bed bugs are a dis grace to the hotel industry . We could not sleep a single night and never got any attention . Avoid this hotel if you can

My stay booked in January for this hotel was cancelled one week before the actual date of reservation in April with the reason that the room needed maintenance. I am a very frequent stayer in hotels and have never experienced such behavior before. My impression is that they were able to sell the room for a higher price: my room costed EUR 320 and they are selling rooms now for much higher prices in the relevant period.

Unfortunately, this hotel can only qualify as 3 stars, not the 4 stars that it claims. The photos on the website are misleading: both the lobby and the rooms look much cheaper in real life. The hotel doesn’t seem to have enough personnel: there is nobody at the door, just the one person behind the reception desk. Depending on who is there, they may not even stand up to greet you at all. In any case, the guests are responsible for bringing their luggage to the rooms. There is an elevator, BUT there is a small flight of stairs before the elevator. I arrived late at night, and the night concierge was quite rude. When I addressed this the next day to another person behind the desk, they were very nice and apologized. There is no kitchen in the hotel, so the breakfast buffet is very limited. There is also no room service. Despite being on a small street, traffic does pass through it, including in the evening and at night. It is very loud. The positives: the rooms are quite spacious and there are slippers, bathrobes and enough towels and other amenities. The location is, of course, also extremely comfortable and central. The cleaning of the rooms is of good quality.

Excellent small boutique hotel, nicely decorated and with a perfect location (<5 mins walk to Duomo). Friendly, hospitable staff, great breakfast with very good coffee. The Superior Room with terrace was spacious, clean and equipped with a nice bathroom with a great shower, WC and bidet and a small terrace on the rooftop. I would recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Milan for business or pleasure. 10/10 score!
