Perfect and nice place

Room had a bizarre window with no curtains with mirrors on the side. As soon as the sun came up the room illuminated so much it woke me up. This after working a night shift and not getting to bed till 2:30 Am

There was nothing anywhere where it said a deposit was needed. When i checked in i had to pay an additional $215 in order to stay. I was told to read the fine print. I did but still did not see this. Yes it gets refunded to you credit card but we all know it takes time. Also, text came stating they were overbooked and you may not have a room. I had to end my activities early on Sat so i could check in to ensure i had a room. Staff wete very friendly to select patrons but others did not even get a HELLO or a smile. This is new as i have stayed here many times and had always received friendly professional customer service there. I wont stay here again. I will need to find another go to place for my quarterly trips to Barrie.

Our stay was great. It was very quiet and very practicable. We would stay again. Was disappointed in the pool - way to small!

Front desk staff during check in were rude, and rolled their eyes at myself and another guest. Key cards didn’t work. Complimentary breakfast was insufficient for my dietary restrictions (celiac). $8 paid breakfast was disgusting and not worth it. Potatoes were undercooked, eggs over cooked, bacon over cooked. Morning front desk staff was amazing. Mary was her name. Very sweet and helpful.

I chose this hotel over many others because they advertised rooms with Jacuzzi tubs, which cost $50 more per night. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. When my husband turned on the Jacuzzi water, it was dark yellow with solid yellow particles. This appeared to be due to long-term disuse and lack of cleaning, resulting in sediment and biofilm accumulation. Such conditions are a biohazard, posing serious risks of infection and disease transmission. My husband immediately went to the front desk at 10 PM on May 18, 2024. The female staff member he spoke with said she couldn’t handle the issue and only her manager could address it. She assured us that the manager would contact us the next morning. Despite staying in the hotel until our checkout at 11 AM on May 19, 2024, we received no communication from the manager. We even had breakfast at 8:30 AM in the lobby, near the front desk. When we followed up, another staff member named Mary informed us that the manager had already been and gone for the day. Mary was unprofessional and dismissive, blaming us for missing the manager. We had to leave at 11 AM without any resolution. I left a note with Mary detailing our concerns and providing my contact information (name, phone number, and email). Over a week has passed, and I have not received any response. The hotel’s manager seems nonexistent. Staff should know each other’s schedules and not make promises they can’t keep. Guest concerns should be communicated

Convenient to get to Barrie, king bed comfortable, the sofa bed mattress not as comfortable but worked. The staff were not overly friendly towards us, they did their job but for instance on paying and I said thanks, no response, smile etc, found this lacking on both checkin, checkout and on duty staff member in cafeteria. On checkin, the lady was a little snarky to the other person behind the counter with her when asked to recheck which rooms had been cleaned and ready. On the bright side, it was Saturday and our stay was quite quiet which was appreciated and the continental breakfast muffins, bagels and pastries where quite fresh and good.

It was clean which a lot of hotels are struggling with these days! And room was exactly as advertised. Very nice hotel. Would stay here again and recommend to friends.

Arrived at 2am and was still able to check in. Clean room with basic breakfast options included (toast, bagels, muffins, yogurt, cereal). I would stay here again.
