Situated on oceanfront Collins Avenue in the heart of Millionaires Row Fontainebleau Miami Beach is one of the most historically and architecturally significant hotels on Miami Beach Florida. Its iconic design is a spectacular blend of Miamis glamorous golden era and stylish modern luxury. A revered Miami Beach landmark for more than half a century Morris Lapidus emblematic curvilinear building sets a new standard for business and pleasure. The 22-acre oceanfront Miami Beach hotel features signature restaurants by award-winning chefs; two chic nightlife venues; a two-story spa- a virtually endless poolscape- miles of pristine beach and state-of-the-art conference and event facilities. Even before it opened in 1954- Fontainebleau had a rich history shaped by the rapid expansion of the Miami area and its popularity with celebrities. That same persona lingers on and we have no intention of changing it.

The property is beautiful of course! And all of the staff I encountered were very helpful and accommodating. I was looking forward to staying in this hotel since it is an institution in Miami beach. I'm glad I got to stay but wouldn't choose it again. The room was just a room, nothing special about it. And no coffee maker. Weird, I can't remember anywhere I've been that didn't have a coffee maker in the room. I was also disappointed that there isn't a chill casual spot for a relaxed dinner. The early evening that I arrived, I didn't want a fancy dinner. I just wanted a nice salad or simple meal and a view of the pool or beach. They do have a casual spot for pizza, burgers etc but it's very dark and like a pub/sportbar kind of feel. I'm in Miami, I want to see the outdoors and enjoy the beautiful weather! They have a great restaurant by the pool, that is open and airy but it closes early (I tried to go at 5:00 or 6:00 and the kitchen was closed. Other than that, It's all upscale dining which I love but not for every meal. We moved to a nearby hotel on Friday (not because of anything wrong, we were there for a conference that week and wanted to get away from co-workers for the weekend). We loved our experience at our other hotel. Quieter and just felt so much more relaxed but still fun! While at the Fontainbleau pool, a fellow traveler that frequents the Fontainbleau said that the weekend is crazy at the pool. Loud music pumping and party atmosphere. If that is what you're looking for then this is your spot. Not what we wanted so were happy we left for the weekend. I also was disappointed in pool staff that apparently they assign chairs by the pool based on tipping. A pool attendant told me that the front seats are the ”money seats” so those are clearly given to the people that tip for a seat. I get the charge for cabana's but the pool chairs should be available to anyone. If it's not occupied, then it's available.
The Palms South Beach is the only beachfront resort in the area to offer a mix of chic style/ southern grace and laid-back island charm. At The Palms/ guests will experience the personal service of a boutique hotel/ the barefoot sophistication of a tropical estate and the business amenities of a luxury conference hotel. Our location on the northern tip of South Beach offers close proximity to South Beach*s main attractions yet is distanced enough to provide a more tranquil environment.

I really enjoyed this hotel, it is very well kept and maintained (pool area, room was modern and spotless). The staff is amazing, especially the beach staff. The location is perfect for walking the area. I would (will!) return for sure!

Evan and Karen greeted us on the first day and Evan also remembered us throughout our trip and was very friendly. Housekeeping team was out of this world. One of the best ive experienced recently in my travels. Beds are comfy and the rooms are quiet. Val and Maria by the pool were two awesome servers who were so so so nice and took super great care of my group. Sometime great service is hard to find down in Miami. The property itself is beautiful. The complimentary workout classes each morning are awesome. Breakfast at The Market is a must! Servers are very attentive and professional. The only issue we had was during the reservation process and a night manager who was anything but hospitable during a phone call.. There was not a house car and plan for lots of mosquitos outside. Also check out the Basement downstairs, they offer bowling and an ice skating rink! And there is a Starbucks right across the street. Everything was overall fantastic! 👌🏽 10/10 Thanks to the Edition team for an amazing trip! My favorite hotel in Miami Beach yet.

Will definitely be returning to The Ritz Carlton, South Beach. Upon entering the hotel everything seemed super clean and I was greeted with a glass of champagne. I had a fabulous experience at the beach. A few names of the Excellent staff that made the day perfection: Murex, Jacque, Nerlens, Jefferey, and Daril. My group and I were helped to find a great spot on the beach, the food and drinks were amazing. This group of staff checked on my friends and I to make sure all was well. Will hopefully be coming back soon!
NEW 140-room boutique hotel located on historic Espanola Way in South Beach. Opened in November 2022.
Once a colony for artists and outcasts now reimagined for a new cultural age Esme is a gem hidden in plain sight. Built in 1925 the series of buildings along Espanola Way that make up Esme Village were once a hideaway for Al Capone and his cronies as they ran shady card games and set the backdrop for Desi Arnaz as he started a craze for the rumba. Now a historic landmark these walls set the foundation for 145 guest rooms and suites a roof deck pool and lounge and four dynamic food and beverage concepts all nodding to the colorful history of the Village and offering an escape to a world where time slips away.

We had a (pink) deluxe king room (275 sq/ft) and it was wonderful! We were not in the main building, but we’re a short walk away in the complex. There was a kind porter to help with luggage. The size was just fine for us, and we had plenty of room to store luggage under the bed or on the side of the room. The shower pressure was fantastic and the in room amenities were a wonderful touch. There is a coffee maker in the room with mini bar/fridge. No microwave. Room service breakfast (for a fee) was delicious, and the house coffee was fruity, chocolatey and delectable. Lighting was on the darker side, but people might be forgetting to turn on an overhead light on the ceiling fan. You can do this on the wall switch top button. The furnishings were modern, classy and opulent in the room and in the hotel. I truly felt like I was in the pages of a magazine, but it did not feel stuffy or pretentious at all. Staff were wonderful and helpful. After reading reviews, we brought ear plugs just in case, and we definitely used them. Noise is an issue (hence 4 stars), but if you are prepared for this, it’s not a shock. The hotel is in a fantastic, lively area with great restaurants and shopping, but it can get loud at night on the weekends. Prepare for this, and it won’t be an issue. You are charged for extras you may not use, but we greatly enjoyed the stay even when not taking advantage of the extras. We will definitely be back!

Overall-the location is where you benefit from staying at this hotel. That is pretty much it. Check in: We checked in on a Saturday evening. The rooms were not ready when we called at around 5 (rooms are supposed to be guaranteed at 4). We kept calling a couple of times after and our room was still not ready. Our room was ready by 9pm. They do not mention a resort fee per night when you book. They mentioned it at check-in. We paid 136 dollars for 4 nights (on top of what we already paid for our stay). This amount you do not get back. They took $150 for incidentals (this you do get back-apparently, we will see in “some business days” -as stated by Tina) They have valet for your car which they charge 40 dollars a night. I paid 160 for the 4 nights we stayed. They did not assist with bringing any of our luggage to the room. Even under the circumstances of us checking into our room at 9pm! We took the trolly from the lobby and packed our stuff and rolled it into the smallest elevator that seemed like it was going to break while on it. I wanted to put some bags in my car one of the nights and the night time front desk worker (named Luz-I had to ask Tina for her name and she was very hesitant to give me her name. But the night time front desk was Spanish with brownish/blondish hair) Luz said I can walk over myself and put my stuff in there. She said “no one is stopping me from getting into my car” and again insisting I can go myself. She was so rude and just a nasty attitude. I don’t understand why the staff (Tina and Luz) were so nasty! You work in hospitality! I insisted in speaking to manager and the manager was never in. Everyday you do not have a manager in? Lies. Pictures on website are not reality: We booked the superior queen room which was the size of a closet. As we were investigating the room we found the following: 1. Smoke alarm out of its socket 2. Refrigerator not plugged in 3. Lamp shades ripped 4. Comforter ripped 5. Toilet paper holder broken 6. Soap dispenser broken 7. AC leaking 8. Pull out table by the Safe had some dirt inside I took pictures of all of these things and showed it to the front desk. Again, her name was Tina. She said “this is not okay” and took pictures off of my phone of all the horrible things in the room. At first I thought she really understood how bad this was. She stated that she can get us a complimentary upgrade into a better room. I was so excited and ran up to my room to pack my things for a new and better room. Not even 2 minutes later, Tina calls my room and says “I am not able to give you the upgrade, I am sorry.” I asked “ what happened? two minutes ago you checked the system and you said you were able to give me the upgrade.” All that Tina said was “I am sorry” there was no explanation given, even when I kept asking what happened, all Tina said was “I am sorry” (WEIRD!-an explanation would have been a normal response and I would have accepted her explanation. But all I got was I’m

I can confidently give this dog-friendly hotel a well-deserved five-star rating, as our experience there was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly, and their friendliness and helpfulness were evident throughout our stay.
Our furry friend was treated like a VIP. The hotel’s commitment to being dog-friendly was remarkable, and our pet felt right at home from the start.
Beyond the pet-friendly aspect, the hotel itself was a true delight. The pool area offering a refreshing escape with nice music.
The rooms were consistently clean, and the pleasant scent that permeated the hotel created a welcoming and inviting atmosphere. It was evident that the staff took great care to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all guests.
As we returned for our third visit, our love for this place only grew stronger. If you’re seeking a dog-friendly haven where exceptional service, a beautiful ambiance, and pristine rooms converge, look no further. This hotel is an absolute gem that we can’t help but adore.

Hotel location is very good, located in South Beach, walking distance from several net red restaurants, there are two swimming pools, and the hotel's own beach, hotel guests can use 2 beach chairs for free, and can get free of charge at the on-site restaurant. Cup of drink. The hotel only has valet parking, the cost is not low, but South Beach parking is expensive. The interior of the hotel is relatively clean and maintains a consistent standard. The beach is flat, but the waves are a bit big.

GGuest UserThe hotel overall was just okay, some finishes were starting to look worn (stone floor on the lobby steps, bathroom fixtures peeling)... When we arrived, we went up to our room which was 72 degrees, I checked the thermostat and it was set to 56, so I set it to 66 as that is the temp we normally we sleep at. There was mismatched furniture on the patio, but the view was beautiful if you looked beyond the beach restoration taking place (more on that shortly). It was clear, the only way to get the room cooler was to completely close the curtains (not just the sheers) but then why am I paying for an ocean front room? So, we closed the curtains and went down to the pool. It took 45 minutes for our drinks to be delivered and 1h25m for our food. The waitress blamed everything on the new menu and that the team was struggling. We headed back to our dark room to change for dinner. Once we had our showers and I used the hairdryer for 10 minutes, the temp climbed to 73 degrees. We headed out to dinner and then had drinks in the lobby upon our return. Once we got back to our room around 9pm, it had gotten down to a balmy 71 degrees. We tried to go to sleep, but just our being in the room was enough to take it back up to 72 for the night, it was miserable. At 9am we went to the front desk to talk to them about the air conditioner not working and they said they would have someone take care of it. We left for the day after breakfast and did not return until almost 6pm and guess what, the room was still 72 degrees and dark. So we went back to the front desk and they were very sorry and gave us a $100 credit and would waive the resort fees. They said they would send someone up while we went out. That night we went to Nobu, we were one of the few people that were dressed appropriately, most were in shorts and football jerseys. There was a 2-3 year old child jumping up and down on the chair yelling and her parents just ignored her, she did this our entire meal. The restaurant Manager gave a glaring look to the child, but never spoke to the parents. She noticed we kept looking around for our waiter and came over and had to take our 2nd sushi order as our waiter was not around for over 20 minutes and it took 40 minutes for our 1st order to get to the table. My husbands 2nd cocktail did not make it to the table until desert, not at all what we had hoped for when paying over $300 for dinner. After dinner, we went to another bar to listen to some music, we did not return until just after 1am and still no improvement on cooling down our room. We talked with the night Manager and he said he would send someone up in 5 minutes. After 25 minutes (almost 2am) I had to go back downstairs to let him know no one had come up, so I waited in the lobby until the Engineer was in the elevator with me. He got on his ladder and said the temp coming out was 69, but it was just the bed side of the room that felt warm... and the thermostat was probably just registering the warm side... it w
董董The price is cheap, the environment is good, and the sleep is quiet. There is a 150-way airport bus next to the hotel. Most of the waiters at the front desk are dedicated and enthusiastic, but the personal attitude is cold and impatient. Also, when booking, it was clear that there was free parking, but when I arrived at the scene, I said no, and the attitude was not very good.
GGuest UserWe stayed at the Moxy for 4 nights and really enjoyed our experience. Chantel greeted us as the front desk and was amazing! The hotel is brand new and has some of the best photo ops to take on property that are Instagram worthy. The staff never missed a beat. We will definitely be back!
GGuest User#positive #I was happy with the Mosquito Control Measures, Natural Light in the Room, Nearby Shops, Nearby Activities; downtown will be much cheaper, and staying for a few days is not necessary for people with limited budgets.
CCiccioPasticcioVery basic, fairly clean, in a pretty good location to access the beach. No food, but you get (loud) fridge and microwave in the room. Showers are installed very low, I'm 173 cm and struggled with it (you can take the head off, but it's annoying); decor in general could do with a refresh (some stained curtains). Disappointingly it has no free parking (they ”failed to update” this detail on the booking site I used, sigh), you have to use the big public car park nearby (and if your credit card is not from North America you can't use the website to pay for it, which you must do from 8am to 6pm). The receptionist / factotum is a bit of a character, a young lady whose customer skills are a bit on the ”french” side; she's not actually on site outside of office hours, but can be reached by phone or whatsapp. Security relies on codes, so you better remember to cover your hand as you key in. On saturday night someone was blasting music in their room until late in the evening. The beach is a 5 min walk away, barely a block. There are shops and mostly-average restaurants very close by (cafe on the opposite corner is actually pretty nice). There is a small event arena right around the corner, so any event there will likely impact on your sleep; but then again, you don't come to Miami Beach to sleep, do you?
TtangweidongVery close to the Miami Beach Convention Center, all aspects are OK, I paid the money in Ctrip, and when I got to the hotel, he would like me how much I have more than 100 yuan, my English is not very good, the negotiation is not clear, I can only give
The worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The day we arrived (Oct. 8th) the room wasn’t properly cleaned. The countertops and stove in the kitchen had not been cleaned. As we continued to get settled into the room we hear the air conditioned come on. OMG!! The air-conditioning unit in the room was so loud it sounded like an industrial engine in a factory. It woke us up every night so needless to say we didn’t get much sleep. To add insult to injury, while trying to sleep I felt something on my head. Thinking it was a roach I jumped up and turned on the lights only to realize it was the “pleather” headboard that was peeling and falling on my head. The worst part about it all was the lack of response from the hotel staff including the Manager, Jose Pita. I immediately addressed my concerns with the front desk clerk the night we arrived and asked for another room as this room was not satisfactory at all. The receptionist proceeds to tell me that she couldn’t help me and that I would need to speak with someone in the morning. I waited until the following morning to address my concerns with the next person on duty. That young lady (Ruth) was the only pleasant person at the hotel. She stated she would have someone check out the AC unit in our room and if it couldn’t be repaired she would move us to another room. I explained we would be out the entire day and would return around 5pm that afternoon which she replied, “no problem”. As we returned from our day of exploring Miami I approached the young lady at the desk (her name was Hynah) to inform her of the conversation I had with Ruth and she proceeds to tell me that they would not be moving our room as Ruth had stated. She said “All the AC units sound like that”. When I asked to speak to the Manager she told me he wasn’t there so I asked for his email address. I sent the Manager (Jose Pita) a lengthy email detailing my experience in an effort to see if he could resolve the issues at hand for a paying customer. I never received a response from Mr. Pita. As someone who is a Corporate Exec in the hospitality industry and stays at hotels 150+ nights a year across the gulf south region this was by far the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. If I could give this a ZERO I would. I am going to make sure I let all of my colleagues and contacts know never to stay at this hotel EVER!!
MMoon MWe work hard, but we also know how to relax. Our hard-working team has arrived from Chicago to this beautiful hotel in Miami and we are happy to be here. It's a great place to have a good time. The service is top notch, the music, the pool, we loved it all. Highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a good vacation. 5 stars. We will be happy to visit you again. 6 stars for the employees who are engaged in registration and settlement of people and their rooms.
GGuest User· The start to my cruise vacation was not PLESANT TO SAY THE LEAST To start the entrance to the hotel was not the best looking. The reception desk and surroundings looked like someone's old furniture that they were throwing out and the hotel picked up. It was old, cluttered, and dusty and just unprofessional. The sitting area at the front of the hotel reminded one of a motel instead of a hotel in the highly talked about Miami area. The check in was smooth to say the least. There is no elevator so I had to climb 2 flights of stairs with 2 large suitcases and 2 tote bags. The carpet entrance on the 2nd floor nd all the way down the 2nd floor hallway was terrible. It was so dirty and stained that I cant see why the hotel has not pulled it up. Upon entering the double queen the paint was mismatch and chipping, it smelled like cigarettes and moldy, the bathroom was dated and rusting, the sink fixtures where wobbly and rusted, the bathtub was not fit to bathe or shower in because it looked dirty and strains of hair where found inside and around it, The toilet ran consistently. The bedding boarders where dirty and stained so I refused to sleep in the sheets and covers provided. I went and bought sheets and a blanket to sleep on for my one night stay. The AC unit was hard to figure out. The WIFI and tv channels barely came in clear. I refused to walk around barefoot because the floor wasn't clean. There is no iron or ironing board and no coffee pot. The gentleman at check in did mention breakfast but I dare not with the hotel conditions as they were out of fear. This whole hotel needs to be remodeled. This is very unacceptable and deceiving to me as a customer and any who decides to stay here. I paid $200+ for a one night stay in these conditions when I should have fought it and went elsewhere. I was and still am very disappointed with this hotel and if I could have cancelled as soon as I seen the conditions I would have. SAD, TERRIBLE HOTEL EXPERIENCE IN MIAMI
