Mercure Melbourne Therry Street

The location is good, walking distance to major main attractions in Melbourne. But the hotel a bit run down, there is some unpleasant smell if didn’t open the window.

The receptionist is really friendly and patient enough to tackle the problem, thank you so much and good memory to have a nice trip in Melbourne

Spent 10 nights here and I had a normal experience. Some things I noticed: Guest would come late at night and I would hear running sounds or heavy steps but I can still sleep because I’m a heavy sleeper. The pots and pans are old, I clean them every time I use and but they really could have given a proper srub? There were enough utensils, plates, pots and pans for us both. The cleaner was kind and would have came in to clean everyday and changed our towels too if I didn’t put the do not disturb sign, but I hope they vacuum under the bed cus …. Yeah It’s not the most hygienic place especially for the entrance and where it’s situated but it’s definitely cheaper than other options I found. I found the elevator card thing a bit frustrating - but one thing that did annoy me was when I left my power card on in the room because I put some meat in the fridge, but it was taken out after room service so my food went bad. Located is very nice & prime area Convinent to go to Victoria Market. Room is very nice I got room on high floor and stay for 2 nights

Loud noises all night / bad snelll / blood stains on the bed . Bring ear plugs

The location is fantastic is you like to visit the Queen Victoria Market. The room is good enough except that they need to upgrade the electrical sockets to be multi-applicable for international travelers that need to charge their mobile phones. The lobby is shockingly tiny.
