Best Five Star Hotels in Meizhou

Traveling to Meizhou, we came to the tourist attraction of Ke Tianxia. There are homestays and an old five-star hotel here. We chose to stay in the five-star hotel. The hotel looks a bit old, and the decoration style is from the 1980s and 1990s. I heard that it was one of the hotels for government reception before, but now it is not as beautiful as before. I booked a villa room halfway up the mountain. The hotel helped me upgrade to a business room and live in a place closer to the main building of the hotel. The room is pretty good, with a large area and a large shower room. The room is generally good, and it has all the necessary facilities. The accommodation includes breakfast, which is in the Western restaurant on the first floor of the lobby. It collects meals earlier than the breakfast of ordinary hotels. You may think that the meal is served at 10:00, but it is 9:30 here. Many guests did not pay attention to the time and there is no food.

He learnt that we are foreigners of Hakka descendent & visited Meizhou for local cuisines, immediately recommended few restaurants & interesting places for us to explore. He helped us booked Di Di online, ordered food delivery to hotel before we departed to next city & even prepared disposable utensils for our meals in the high speed train, really appreciate his detailed observation & consideration! Sam extended his service beyond my expectation! LOVE the location, quiet & spacious room. People's Square is right across the street. Fresh air & greenery in the morning. When dark falls, the whole park turns into fun fair ground for kids, dancing field & karaoke place for the adults. Will return staying in this hotel without hesitation.

It was my first time staying in this hotel, and the experience was great. The hotel design style is very suitable for family travel. Manager Zheng and Miss Xue Rou at the front desk have super good service attitudes. I accidentally placed the wrong order for a king-size bed room, and the beautiful sister at the front desk changed it to a twin room for free. What was surprising was that the twin room came with two 1.8-meter-long beds as standard. The buffet breakfast on the second floor of the hotel only costs 38 per person, and children under 1.25 meters are free. My eldest daughter is more than 1.4 meters tall, and the front desk manager readily gave her a children's breakfast. I have stayed in so many hotels, but this is the first time I have experienced such a comfortable, spacious and cost-effective hotel. The surrounding area is Wanda Plaza, which is located in the city center with convenient transportation. It is a great travel experience

We were traveling with a group of friends and family. Before we came, we saw this high-end hotel on Ctrip.com, which is located by the river. We thought that it must be a good hotel under the Guangzhou White Swan Hotel, and it was newly opened. So we booked four river view rooms. We checked in at around 2:00 p.m. that day. The receptionist said that the guests had just checked out and could not check in for the time being. We had to wait for at least half an hour. She didn't say sorry or anything like that, which made us feel uncomfortable. We urged her to arrange it as soon as possible! After more than ten minutes, we were finally able to check into three rooms. We still had to wait for the remaining room. It took about half an hour to get the room card. The room was simple and clear. When I opened the curtains, I saw Meijiang River. When I was about to go out to play at around 4:00 p.m., I saw tea and snacks were provided free of charge when I passed the lobby. The breakfast was quite rich, and the Cantonese morning tea was very tasty. There were also many parking spaces in the parking lot!

We travelled in a group of 8 people and we came back here because some of us had stayed at this hotel on previous occasions. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Even though not all the staff at the reception are fluent in English, they will go out of their way to assist you through the use of Wechat or a translate app. I cannot reallly comment on the breakfast as I only had coffee … freshly grinded beans and drip which was good. Some rooms had the smell of cigarette and so it would be nice if the hotel could cater for non smoking rooms. Beds were comfortable, Overall we had a pleasant stay.

This is an older four-star hotel in Meizhou, and the overall decoration style is a bit old-fashioned; the front desk specially arranged a high-rise river view room for us, with unbeatable scenery; the restaurant is a revolving restaurant on the top floor, with a rich variety of dishes. It was fully booked during the National Day holiday, and the dining staff were packed. The restaurant waiters had no response measures, and the dining experience was not good.

The rooms are spacious and bright, warm and comfortable, and every detail shows the quality. The beds are soft and make me sleep well all night. The bathroom is clean and tidy, well-equipped and very convenient to use. The overall decoration style is simple and elegant, making people feel particularly relaxed. In addition, the hotel's service is first-class, from the warm and thoughtful front desk staff at check-in to the intimate and meticulous room service staff, people feel at home.

The location is off the downtown area and a sort of resort, so it is not centralize and slightly inconvenient. There are some restaurants and convenience stores nearby if you need to buy anything. Rooms are clean but there were some insects around as it is located on a hill area. However, overseas credit card such as American Express, Visa and Mastercard cannot be used.

This 4-star hotel is completely out of date. Except for the large room, other aspects seem to be unsatisfactory: the equipment is really too old, the slippers are also cheap, the TV is super small and can't be turned on, the breakfast room and the corridor have a strong odor, and the worst thing is that you have to pay extra for adding a bottle of water. This is the second hotel I have encountered in this 28-day trip. The first one is Xiamen Henglong Garden Hotel. In addition, the health package in the elevator is simply speechless.
