Best Western Plus Kansas City Airport-KCI East Reviews

I’ve stayed here twice and both times I was just as impressed. It is definitely worth the money for the location and is a lot safer than some other conveniently located cheaper hotels! Loved the breakfast.

The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. The fitness center was just ok. It was dark and hot and cramped. The fan didn't work and lights were burnt out. We selected this hotel partly for the shuttle to the airport but we got a 9pm call that our 5am shuttle was being cancelled (transmission problems). We reserved a taxi with the service the front desk recommended and the taxi was a no show. There were no Uber options at that time of the morning. Tldr good hotel but don't really in then to get to or from the airport.

Check in was easy. However, there were a few things they could improve. We stayed for 6 nights so we saw a good perspective. We had to ask for towels and toilet paper daily because they didnt replenish ours. Breakfast was just ok. Even though they posted a daily menu, it wasnt what they described. It was always sausage (links or pattys), scrambled eggs, biscuits and sausage gravy, and make your own pancakes and waffles. The thing that really upset us was our transfer to the airport. We signed up for a 430am shuttle the day before we left. Shuttles started 20 + minutes late. So, our 430 shuttle wouldn't have left until almost 5am. We had to call an uber to get us to the airport on time.

The bed was comfortable and shower was updated with great pressure. Two important things for me.

The property is close to a reasonable an out of conveniences like food, Aldi, other shops. Reasonable price. The only thing I would suggest is having some type of covering over windows like curtains as the light is bright from outside because the shade is not dark.

I like the whole experience. It was really nice in the room to really nice and the people were friendly.

This is one of the best properties we have ever stayed at! The rooms are so spacious and clean! The staff were amazing and even though the room wasn’t considered handicapped accessible, my girlfriend was still able to move around freely in her wheelchair! The comfort of this place is just impressive! Definitely recommend staying here even if it is a little distance from downtown!

This property is spacious and always super clean. The staff is very professional and kind.

This hotel did not have hot water and the water pressure was so low that the shower did not work. The pool was also ice cold. The temp invthe room could not be adjusted and was unbarably hot.

Everything was super fast and pleasant. Room was very clean, halls and hotel were also clean. We took the airport shuttle at 5am, driver was nice and helpful. Everything was on time (we did not wait for a late rider) and drop off was smooth.

I am truly grateful for Kk our shuttle driver. He was very courteous and respectful. Especially this morning it was frigid and he made sure that we got to the airport safely.

The hotel & staff were great and the shuttle was on time (4:30a.m.), but there had been a winter storm (snow) earlier in the week and the sidewalk in the FRONT of the hotel has not been touched and were able & ice covered. A fair bit of the parking lot was also icy. This was unsafe for walking, let alone carrying bags.

The front desk clerks were great. Breakfast was ok. I slept well enough and the room was clean and kept. I had no issues with this stay.
