The location of the hotel is average, although there is no beach at the beach, the only thing is very secluded. The yard where the hotel is located is very large and there are many houses for short and medium term rental. This is an excellent, inexpensive resort to stay on the East Coast of Mauritius. I loved hotel's activities and staff services. Whilst I wouldn't stay there on a honeymoon because it lacks the romantic atmosphere that some of the 5 starts hotels have ( luxurious flowers, etc) I will always consider returning for a holiday break. The waves on the East Coast are stronger comparing to the West coast, making swimming little bit more challenging, however the water is very clean. Highly recommended.

Hotel location is relatively biased, in the villa area, suitable for hotels. There is a cocktail party from time to time at night.

The beach of Mao Ball really doesn't want to hold too high expectations. This is the third home in Mao Ball.
