How anyone can fault this hotel I don't know. The hotel has a good location and is only two minutes walk from a lovely beach. There are three swimming pools which are kept spotlessly clean. Breakfast is buffet style and there is the usual egg station where omelette etc are cooked fresh. Lunch is from a menu with plenty of choice. This was cooked fresh and served at the table. Evening meal was again buffet style which changed on a daily basis. My room was 122 which was large with a comfortable bed. Rooms are cleaned each day. Special mention to Emmanuel who fumigated the room after a number of mosquito appeared. Other mentions for Ravi the bar man and Anusha in the restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they were do friendly. Overall excellent hotel which is highly recommended.

People in the country and hotel are beautiful and so kinds...I recommend you Jean-Philippe at the reception desk in front the pool. Armando. Thank you Mauritius, it was so nice and plenty of happinesses. I"ll be back in less than 2 years. God bless that country and people especially in hotel PALMIST.

This is a very good hotel with a nice chilled out relaxing vibe which is situated close to an amazing beach all the staff are very friendly and welcoming and everything you require including car hire and excursions can be booked from the reception you can choose all types of board basis from room only to all inclusive the rooms are large in size and have aircon which is helpful some come with a seaview I would stay here again

We were checked in by a lady named Deeksha. She never smiled at any point and we felt like we were being checked into a prison. Instead of welcoming us to the hotel it felt like we were being given strict rules and regulations to abide by. She had no personality to be customer facing. Unfortunately this was our introduction to the hotel and it set a bad tone. Bar service by Jessen was terrible. He pays no attention to you and ignores you. He is rude and abrupt. Fortunately there was other bar staff who were friendly and tried to help given Jessen’s rude behaviour. Also the bar ran out Gin during the day and was unable to source more. That’s ridiculous for a holiday resort that provides all inclusive packages. Poor management. They have a strange policy on towels. If you collect a pool towel. You can only return it after 2 days, whether you want to exchange it or not. Also you can only get it changed after two days. Food was great and chef Renoo was a saviour! We enjoyed her lovely dishes and attention to detail.
