I just HAD to write a review on my stay here. Well... this was my 3rd hotel in 4 nights of travelling. It was also the cheapest one, and the only one I was kind of dreading! Oh how wrong could I have been! From the moment I entered, the receptionist was so friendly and helpful. Welcoming, kind and professional. I asked if there was any fridge I could use to store some food items I was travelling with and they kindly put these in the staff area for me overnight. Could not do enough to help. The hotel feels more like a modern new hostel than a hotel. The vibe in the communal area felt very much like a classy hostel. It was warm, friendly and welcoming. Free unlimited tea and coffee down there was great. Breakfast was only continental, which I hadn't realised. Lovely pastries, but a shame no hot food was served. Rooms are very small, as I had expected, but functional, Plenty of charging sockets, good hot shower with amenities. As I arrived into the station at terminal 1, and was flying from terminal 1 the next day it is quite a walk with heavy bags. There is no shuttle bus or alternative way to get to terminal 1 from here, only the skylink. This would have been fine, but the moving escalators on the skylink were switched off. When I asked the hotel staff about this, they said they have not been working for months. I don't know why this is, but it would have made moving to/from the hotel a lot easier so it was a shame. Overall a very good and unexpected stay. For the price, I would stay again. Thanks to all the staff for such a pleasant welcome.

Stayed here a while back whilst on a business trip. The room was huge and I was so impressed with the bed and linen I emailed them when I got home to find out the make. Great bathroom and the little touches like the sweets in the fridge were fab. Ate in the restaurant and quality and portions were great. Staff throughout the hotel were a credit. Will look forward to another stay

By travelling out of the city a little, we're able to bring you all the mod cons with none of the excessive, costly extras that you don't need. But don't worry, you won't be out on a limb: there are ample and regular transport links directly into the city (Salford Quays metro stop is a mere four-minute walk from our door), so that you can enjoy the best of Manchester's vibrant city centre at prices that suit your pocket.

Spent one night here as I was travelling to a match in Old Trafford. The stadium is only 10 minute walk away. I requested a quiet room as I had my young son with me. I must say that they certainly did accommodate me. The room was clean and very small. The bed was very comfortable. One tip, if you want to charge your phone and use it while lying in bed, bring an extra long phone charger cable, as the only socket in the room is under the TV, which is in the corner of the room Its a maybe, that I will stay again. I got it for a great price. Overall, happy with stay. It is the basic of basic hotels! Heard from other that the tram can be loud, but I never heard it. Gregs shop next door in petrol station was handy.

Rooms are clean and tidy. Lovely comfy bed but pillows need replacing as falling apart There was no hairdryer in our room but this was quickly rectified once we asked for one, We had a lovely chilled stay in our room but would not recommend the in house restaurant. I have left a separate review of that..👎 Reception and cleaning staff who we met around the hotel were super friendly. We were on floor 5 and it was so peaceful. If I hadn’t heard a shower (very quiet) next door I would have thought we were the only ones on that floor. Hotel is just a short walk from everywhere so in a good position
Only criticism is the hotel is so hot and I mean hot. You melt at reception when you check in. Also we couldn’t get the air con to work in our room so it was. Constantly 19 degrees

My husband and I came to the hotel on Friday 7/10/2022 room 1216 I honestly couldn't say anything negative about this hotel . The moment we walked in Georgia and neelam on reception greeted us warmly and explained everything. Once we settled in we came back to the bar to enjoy the amazing range of cocktails made by Gabriel :) the bar staff were all amazing from the manager phoebe to Pablo and andree they couldn't do more to make you feel welcome . Our room did have a view of the construction but we expected that as we are in the middle of Manchester and it was not a problem at all . The breakfast was beautiful unfortunately I didn't get the gentleman's name who was clearing the tables but he was so nice lastly I would like to give mo from housekeeping a massive shout out our room was spotless and he even gave me a kit kat 😀 what stands out about this hotel is the staff and I mean all the staff shine they all greet you with smiles and I know how hard that can be for a full shift 😀 can't wait to come back thank you

Location and value for money are the reason we booked, plus that fact we spent most of the time out of the room. shower room is a good size, though the heat of the water does not need to exceed 40, for the sake of the environment. We had a basement room, bigger that other rooms apparently. yet gap between the end of the bed and the wall is tiny need to walk sideways to spend a penny at night. staff at reception knowledgeable of the surroundings.

Very new hotel rooms. Massive space. We had kids so plenty rooms for them and the baby cot. Seperate toilet and bathroom which I will say is great design for more than 1 person using the room. Seperate tea making area, looks delicate for takeaway preparation with a sink as well, which is bonus for if anyone didn't like to use the sink in the toilet for make tea or wash cutlery. It will be better to have a little fridge, as proper tea drinker would like to have fresh milk. My kids and hubby had breakfast, which is reasonable price ÂŁ10 per person, they rate it easy 7/10, coffee let the breakfast down. On site parking also very good value ÂŁ14per night. Location is excellent, very near to piccadillly train station, walking distance to Central Manchester. Special mention, excellent staffs! Everyone is very friendly and helpful! Genuinely nice, saw my husband taking 3 kids to breakfast, offer helps and make sure he and the kids alright. Hightly recommended!

I spent 21 days at this Hilton whilst awaiting my apartment to be ready. The incredibly hospitable staff made the stay a 4/5. Mo the general manager is a top class human as well as a collaborative, uplifting manager. The hotel ac was constantly disrupted, likely due to the unprecedented level of climate change weather, this year. The front desk staff were ready and willing to help with anything I needed. They are mostly 20 somethings that by nature enjoy genuinely helping people. Taren ”consummate professional”, Pier ” my fav Italian”, Igor ”the hustler”, Abbie ”comforting smile”, Demi ”sweetest person”, Winnie ”wish I could adopt her”, Faz ”the kindest human ever”, Lianna ”gets it done - even without a business center”, Serena ”kind and quick”, Jordan ”kind smile” and Patrick ”the mix master”, I would ike to publically thank each of these people for: providing fans in a pinch, providing business center services with0ut a business center, helping with a hot coffee (my fault) incident, suggestions for delicious BRITISH FOOD (?!@$!?), ideas on how to expedite my Manc assimilation. The maid staff were happy to provide extra towels and coffee creamers... they respected privacy and would leave supplies outside of our door unsolicited when we hung our do not disturb sign out... the list goes on and on. This is a wonderful Hampton that should be a model for all of the rest. I've been to a lot of them! I am forever grateful to the kind people here. They would have received 5 stars if the ac worked and the breakfast was changed up a bit. But @HiltonHotels needs to give everyone here a raise.

For the most part, the hotel was clean. The staff were very helpful as my keycards stopped working twice but it was resolved pretty quick. The lifts worked fine and were decently fast, especially since I was on the sixth floor. The security guard was lovely too. Onto the room, the main bathroom light took about 30 seconds to a minute to turn on. That isn't too bad, but it was just kind of irritating at times. As well as that, the shower was dripping during the entire stay no matter what we did. The sixth floor is supposed to be a quiet floor, but there was a lot of noise coming from both inside and outside the hotel which was sometimes disruptive. There were workers around too, which wasn't too bad, but they started working early and you could definitely hear them. As well as this, there was a fire alarm test with no prior notice. The wifi was pretty hard to use on my phone - I had to manually type in the connection site each time. It was the same on my laptop, but I had to go into the settings and get the site each time to connect. In general the stay wasn't so bad and the location was decent, the main issues were the noises and shower, but everything else was good. I would recommend for a budget hotel. The bed was comfortable and everything worked fine for the most part, but just be wary of the surroundings.

GGuest UserWhat a fantastic wee hotel the Brooklyn is! We stayed here on the night of the 19th of June for one night before heading off abroad the next day. Great location and a very quirky little hotel far exceeding expectations and better than some of these corporate giants, loved it! Staff were all exceptional to us, friendly and professional always. Bar staff on that evening get a special mention as they were brilliant. Cocktails were out of this world, as stated by Cocktail Queen herself who I was travelling with. Loved the terrace style seating near the bar, never seen that before! Rooms were awesome, bathroom fantastic and I did have a good chuckle at the fact that you could see into the bathroom from the bedroom through a one-way glass panel, hilarious! Everything smelt so wonderfully clean in the building too and I could not fault this place at all! A wonderful stay and a big thanks to all the staff that were on that evening and the next day, you should all be exceptionally proud of yourselves!

GGuest UserPros - Room and facilities in room all top quality andd better than any other aparthotel I'd previously stayed in which I can sometimes find to be cheaply fitted out (this was not) - Great coffee, little treats and real milk in the fridge! And the fact it had a fridge btw to keep my little treats chilled! - Super comfortable bed - The power washer-esque shower nearly knocked me over! - Nice scented toiletries - Ironing board and available without needing to ask reception - Wonderful view across the Manchester skyline - Great location for me, maybe 10-15 minute walk at most in any direction to main areas (Picadilly, Arndale, Deansgate, Spinningfields) with the exception of the Northern Quarter (which I knew) - Room could easily accommodate 3 adults Cons - Downstairs lobby area under refurbishment wasn't the best first impression - Lifts could get busy at different times of day - Touch controls took a little getting used to - Would have been a bit pricey at full price for me as a solo traveller but as it was I got a great deal in advance through a bit of up front research and site searching

GGuest UserWe booked here for one night. This hotel is literally a 2 minute walk from Manchester Oxford Road train station. Check in was straight forward and fast, getting to your room even quicker. Lifts are near reception so no lugging suitcases etc. Staff were friendly, there’s a bowl of your favourite chocolates on reception, my daughter was allowed to help herself to whatever she liked
that was a nice touch. We booked a room for 4 people, now the room was fairly small, but this is a city centre hotel at a great price. Bathroom was the right size. There is a thermostat near the door, we felt the heating could have been placed in a better location as it took a while to heat the room, the blower was right near the door, so heated that area quickly, but not the rest of the room. Overall the hotel was clean, staff were all friendly and happy to talk if you were
we liked that too. This hotel is used by all type of customers, families, business people, singles and couples. The location is great, you are a 15 minute walk away from the main town centre
with the Arndale Centre. In fairness I think why would you need to walk that far as there’s loads of eateries and shops all around this hotel, enough to keep the day traveller happy. The pictures don’t fully do it justice as we had stayed in the room at the time of me taking them. I loved the view! I would stay here again, the price which is important was the best feature, cheapest hotel by a mile.

GGuest UserWe arrived earlier than checking due to having spa treatments booked as we were celebrating our 10th anniversary and left our bags at the reception. 3pm we got to our room and got ready to go out for evening. We left the hotel at 5pm and informed reception the thermostat was showing a fault code and we couldn't increase the temperature. Reception said Maintance would sort it. 7 hours later we returned to a room we couldn't increase the temperature to as no one had fixed it. It's a clean nice hotel and great location for concerts but for the price we paid I wouldn't be staying here again.

GGuest UserI stayed at the Milton last night the 22nd and it was excellent. I had read the reviews and was a bot concerned by them so approached the entrance with caution. Its clear the building used to be an office block and home to the DHSS. I was directed to the hotel reception where the pleasant surprises began clean airy and a very efficient and welcoming receptionist. Then onto the room which medium sized was warm the bed comfortable and the shower powerful . I ate in the bar and had a well cooked meal and a beer . Next morning breakfast was simply incredible value the selection was large the coffee good and the produce used a step up. All the staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful . Its cheap but its great

The room I stayed in was spacious and impeccably clean. The breakfast they served was absolutely delicious. However, the only downside was the lack of wifi in the rooms, which meant I had to go to the common area to get online.
