Rooms are renovated but the rest are needing attention. It would have been good if there was air conditioning. The fan provided was chalk full of dust and ineffective at all. It just moved the hot air around. Kitchen isn't "complete". Soap dispenser at the sink is just hanging there. Feels a little like camping but you had a bed and shower. View was beautiful though.

Very nice place with a direct Access to the Beach. Place is very suite. Food is very excellent : restaurant takes Time to prépare the dîner for you. Staff takes Care for you. House keeping is correct. My experience : good expérience to work from this resort during the week (work from home). Quick Access to the Mahalabipuram. Follow what you feel !

golden sun beach resort is located very close to beach and just 2 kilometres from all Mamallapuram tourism place. The rooms are clean, good sized and the front desk , housekeeping staff is very helpful and friendly. Their breakfast spread is quite good. We came team outing in golden sun beach resort..... Really wonderful stay..... Room service was nice...... Food quantity was nice.... Lunch and dinner combo very nice..... Swimming pool was nice...... Neat and clean well maintained...... Restaurant near to beach ⛱️⛱️⛱️⛱️.... Thank you . We will come again...

It is good experience all hose keeping team r awesome food is tasty beach view is good I had come for the og conference with my collegue. I stayed in cottage itvwas full moo day night was awesome to sit by the side of each watching yhe wavesvofvoccen and listening the waves noise. There is shower after beach walk before going to the rooms which should be appreciated and hatsvoff to the idea. We went to sea shell museum and arkun peace which is worth watching hotel Manger Mr viod made arrangements to go to near by places and took care of us very well during our stay mohan also took care of us were well .

Location: Very nice, momentous resort. The beach view at this resort is very good. The housekeeping team is good and friendly, and the room cleaning is also good. The B&M service is also good. Indoor games, outdoor games, Golden Sun Hotel very pleases.

A not so good experience indeed. Stayed for a night here recently. There were problems with the flow of water from Washbasin as well as from the shower which was certainly not user friendly. The service level at the restaurant was below par. The staff were not courteous (not all of them) and were refusing to serve basic items, even though it was not crowded enough unlike morning breakfast timings. The team leader though was extremely gracious and provided all the items which were refused earlier by his colleagues. Looks like the staff were tired and exhausted. It was certainly not value for money given the tariff of 4 stars. Overall very bad experience don't book this one.

The room need lot of improvement. The door locks need to be upgraded. The AC never worked. The bathroom was built in 1980’s and no hot water. There was only two towels and no shampoo or conditioner. The restaurant had a lot of flies and had a smell. We sat outside because the scenery was better. They never told you cannot go to beach after 6 PM which is a big disappointment.

We have Booked this hotel during 31 December to 02nd January our customers not check in this worst hotel and charges Dinner also after that asking about refund but not receiving call and replying our messages. Don't recommend to anyone to book this hotels under rooms smell and it's not like hotel they are charging huge amount displayed only photo for promotion. Horrible place. Shabby and dirty rooms. Didn’t feel safe. Certainly not for family. Don’t get fooled by all the fake positive reviews. My family after checkin decided to move out immediately. The experience was so bad. You have much better places in that budget in Mahabalipuram.

The location of the resort is great on the ECR, on the beach that connects shore temple. The shore temple is 3 km approx, takes 45 min walk on the sea shore from the hotel to reach shore temple. Popular shacks like Bob Marley's cafe is couple of kms via the beach The checkin experience was good and swift. Rooms are good but not worth the 6k price tag for their basic room (booked 2 * luxury room for 6k per room) which are built like independent row houses, bathrooms are poor. Food is below par to average, tried lunch dinner and breakfast. No live breakfast counter on Sunday Morning The dinning area and swiming pool overlooks the beach. It's a tiny swimming pool. They have a tin shed like a varanda as a sit out overlooking the beach. The sit outs are full of cheap plastic chairs and poor. The dinning area although it overlooks the beach doesnt have a good vibe. There is no proper sitout arrangement to relax on the beach side The checkout on the front desk was smooth. However one of their white shirt senior employees took out my room keys and we had spent good 30 mins looking for our keys ***** with their service staff before checkout :( Overall, average experience. Take this resort if u get a cheap price deal otherwise avoid Rated it 2, coz for the price there is nothing really to feel good about other than beach location of the resort

We initially made a reservation for a premier sea front room. When we checked in, hotel did not give us the room what we paid for and put us in a room with no windows. Blankets were torn and with mold, stains on pillow cases, room not clean, stains on toilet seat, and room walls damaged with water leak. When we asked the hotel staff to change the room and arguing that this is not the room what we paid for, they could find a premier sea front room. That room also had issues with torn blankets, stains on pillow cases, and room not clean. After paying tips to hotel staff, they could take care of these issues. The positive things about our stay is excellent food, and a great location with direct access to the beach. We had dinner and breakfast. Both were good. This place has a great potential to become a prime place if the hotel can take care of cleanliness of the rooms and the facilities.
