There is Shuttle to the airport, but mainly 1hour between, near the airport,15minutes roughly.
The reception is good and kind.
Just the room not voice keep ,i heard the neighbors phone and talk clearlyđ
Rafaelhoteles Ventas is in a good location, close to the metro station (El Carmen). Hygiene is good, bed linen is changed daily. Breakfast is according to the âbuffet tableâ principle, but it is monotonous and with a small selection. The staff is friendly and accommodating.
Overall a good hotel and a pleasant stay. It would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room as well as complimentary water which isn't too much to ask these days. The breakfast area was too small for the number of guests and there was only one coffee machine meaning there was a permanent queue. There is a small gym which desperately needs air conditioning and would benefit from some music.

Being a full-time traveler who has visited more than 200 countries and territories over the last 14 years I have stayed in countless hotels around the world.
Occasionally, my brother, who has epilepsy, joins me when thereâs no one else to look after him. During these trips, there have been challenging moments when he had seizures. Typically, hotel staff assist by calling paramedics, but the staff at Hotel Chamartin the One have been exceptional.
Special mention to receptionist Lara and her manager Oscar who personally checked on us in our room, brought us water, and even provided medicine for the wound my brother sustained from a fall during a seizure. Both of them were simply amazing.
THANK once again Lara and Oscar. This hotel will undoubtedly be my first choice if visit Madrid again

If your looking for a weekend away to Madrid then look no further and choose the Novotel Madrid in the city center. The hotel is lovely and clean, the room are decent sizes and the shower is awesome. A special thank you to the hotel receptionist 'Sasha' who made our short weekend break amazing. Not only was she helpful and friendly she advised on historical points to see, advised how to travel around the city. The breakfast bar is spolit for choice and the hotel is only 20 minutes away by taxi to the airport T4, âŹ30 a great price. The hotel provides complimentary water and housekeeping is great. This hotel has a lovely roof top bar and the food up there is amazing. Definitely worth all it's stars and the food is an excellent price. This is a great hotel in terms of location and access to both historical venues and shopping. While here we tried various foods such as Spanish, Indian, Thai and English . The people are friendly and getting around by metro is easy, or rentable scooters or bikes. The tour bus is also one to do, I went for my daughter's 16th and we all had a fabulous time .... also 20 minutes by tour bus to the Royal Madrid Stadium.

This hotel is literally across the street from the Madrid Atocha train station. Very easy to find once you exit the station. Centrally located, we walked to El Retiro park in the morning. We also did the hop-on-hop-off bus tour which dropped us off close to the hotel. Hotel itself is beautiful, every staff extremely nice and helpful. Despite the central location, we found the rooms to be quiet. We bought the buffet breakfast when we booked and it is WORTH EVERY PENNY. It is at their rooftop restaurant which not only has an amazing view, the food was DELICIOUS. Beautifully presented with many many options including an omelette/egg station. Early morning was a bit chilly in early October but they had heaters on which was an added bonus. We also had drinks and some tapas at night at the same rooftop, which were delicious as well. We would definitely return here if we are ever in Madrid again. You can't go wrong.

The hotel is in a great location, close to the Prado Museum, the Royal Palace of Madrid, and the city center. We basically walked to all the attractions in the city, and it is not far from the train station. We walked around the city center on the day we arrived, and just walked to the Retiro Park, watched the sunset, and walked back to the hotel. There are also many places to eat near the hotel. When we first checked in, we were given a warm cookie, which was so heartwarming. There is an ironing board and iron in the room, which is very considerate. We used it. Other hotels we stayed in during the trip really didn't have irons and ironing boards. Shower gel, shampoo, body lotion, and hand soap are all British Crabtree and Evelyn, which smells good. The room we stayed in is relatively large and soundproof. There are a few breakfast varieties, but the waiter asked us what we wanted to drink on the first day, tea or coffee. He remembered our preferences on the second day. The receptionist at the front desk was very polite. He greeted us with a smile every time we entered and exited. This enthusiasm was particularly contagious. On the first day of arrival, the gentleman at the front desk was very considerate and gave us a map and told us the approximate walking distance, time, and popular attractions. We had a very pleasant 2 days!

When staying at the NH Madrid Nacional hotel, you will be in a privileged location on Paseo del Prado and steps away from Madridâs Art Triangle. The Prado, Thyssen and Reina Sofia museums are right by the hotel. The 1920s building was designed by the famous architect Modesto LĂłpez Otero and is located across the street from the Atocha train station. This means it provides excellent links to everywhere in the city, including the airport. NH Madrid Nacional has 206 rooms with a choice of classic or contemporary designs. Each features sleek wooden floors and free Wi-Fi. Some of the rooms come with views of the Atocha Plaza or the Botanical Gardens, while Superior rooms have Nespresso machines, among other extras. The Tablafina restaurant serves up light bites and Mediterranean and Spanish dishes, which you can enjoy along with the lovely city view. Breakfast is also served and includes a wide variety of fresh fare including cooked-to-order eggs. A gym is available on-site. For meetings, there are 6 function rooms for up to 150 people, where catering can be arranged. On Sundays, sleep in and enjoy our free late checkout and breakfast served till noon.

Staff was nice and allowed an early check in. Great location with the train station a five minute walk. The Prado and the plaza Mayor both very walkable. Plus, there are a number of excellent restaurants in the area. The downside is the street noise. We had a room on the 5th floor without AC which required us to have our windows open and the noise from the very busy street was deafening. And at 3 am people returning from their night out partying- laughing and yelling could be heard. I think the rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable. But, I would recommend a room high up with AC or in the back of the hotel.

We chose this hotel for it's central location and for what we thought was good value for money. We were not disappointed, in fact it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we stepped into the lobby we were met by friendly yet not overbearing staff. Check in was efficient ant the special requests i had asked for were delivered without any problem and with discretion. The rooms were absolutely amazing, we had two superior rooms and i can honestly say they were the nicest rooms i have ever stayed in. Immaculately clean, well stocked and the comfiest bed ever. We ate in the cafeteria restaurant on the first night as we were tired from travelling, they do a 15 Euro menu which consists of three courses, bread and a drink (wine, beer or soft drink) which was of great quality and value for money, we enjoyed it so much we ate there the following two nights of our stay too. Break fast was of an equally high standard with a huge choice of both hot and cold offerings. The one thing that came across in this hotel was the staff, the were the most friendly and helpful i have cane across, nothing was too much trouble. I will only stay here when in Madrid in the future. Well done Liabeny.

GGuest UserThe environment of the hotel is very good. The lobby, restaurant, and garden are all elegantly and meticulously decorated, but the room is a bit crowded for us as a family of three, and the room facilities are average. My favorite is the restaurant, both indoor and outdoor, the restaurant environment and food are of high quality. In addition, the location is very good, very close to the main attractions in the old city (Madrid Royal Palace, Puerta del Sol, Plaza España), ten minutes walk, but please pay attention to driving, this is a restricted area in the old city. The service is good, the waiters are very warm and friendly.
GGuest UserWe stayed here for a weekend break, smooth check-in and staff were Brilliant and helpful, hotel was spotless, the rooms were spacious and comfortable and spoilt with the view of Madrid, view bar was fabulous, wifi was brilliant and breakfast was wow especially the omelettes, will be definitely be returning, thanks Riu Plaza for a brilliant break
GGuest UserWe had a fantastic stay at the Crowne Plaza. The room was comfortable and modern. The bed was enormous, largest I've seen and beyond a king bed. We joked that we could have fit 4 people on it. The pillows were also fluffy and shapely. There is a mini fridge that were able to use to store cheese. The bathrooms have fig products. While I wasn't a fan of the scent, it didn't linger and Crowne Plaza is not stingy about products. There is hand soap and body lotion next to the sink. Body wash, shampoo, and conditioner are in the shower. This hotel also has tissues (a rarity in Spanish hotels) and soft 2-ply toilet paper. Minor touches but they definitely elevate the experience. The towels smelled clean and there were glasses for use throughout the room. The only feedback was the staff wasn't very welcoming or helpful. We checked in late and the night receptionist seemed bothered to see us and didn't have any suggestions for where to eat. We later asked if there's a channel that has the Real Madrid football match and they had no idea. We checked out early in the morning, around 7am, and there was a wait when the receptionist prioritized check-ins but who checks in at 7am? He forgot to email the invoice and when I emailed for it, that took 2 tries and almost a week to get it.
DDr. T The TravelerTo start my review I will point out the positive things which were unfortunately not that many.
The hotel is well located to most everything in Madrid via Metro or walking distance to all restaurants and shopping wishing the center of town. Great foodie destinations and shopping are close by, and thatâs where the positive comments will stop.
Upon checking in the first signs of poor service were obviously there. They mentioned that because I booked via the âAppâ Trip.com or other then we would not be considered like others who booked via their own site or preferred partners.
The room was on the first floor and next to the housekeeper room which was non-stop and especially first thing early morning was my alarm clock at 7am everyday whilst on my vacation, so clearly not a a good thing.
Second and another very important issue was the A/C which didnât work correctly and was making noise, the room was warm and humid the whole time, I mentioned to the reception within 10min of checking in, 4 nights and nothing was done to improve or correct this issue.
Any request or comment was never taken in a professional, responsible or respectful way. As I was on a well deserved vacation I didnât want to get angry and cause more stress to myself, but I was clear that I would not let this pass without commenting on it.
The breakfast was good, clean but very limited in regards to selection. When requesting your eggs as they mentioned at each table the request was always ignored and just whatever was available even cold eggs as times were sent out. I had to request each day that my eggs were to be prepared soft/runny and they usually brought out cold m, dry and overcooked. So they would give me a look when I asked to please prepare as requested and then after some time they would come back with the order as mentioned.
Over all it was an effort that I donât need or want at each stage of the interaction with staff and the facility.
I will stick to my usual Usual choice which is Bonvoy group of hotels next time.
GGuest UserGreat location, very nice breakfast, there is also a Starbucks right outside the enterance which is nice. Literally a two minute walk to Gran Via street where you can find anything you could possibly need. The staff was polite, the rooms were clean and very quiet at least on the 5th floor :) Overall would recommend and come back again. Gracias Madrid!
GGuest UserWe stayed for a week and really enjoyed it. Exceptionally clean, really friendly and attentive staff, good atmosphere in the downstairs bar area and on the roof bar, good breakfast and very comfy, well equipped room. Wasnât too sure initially about the area but we soon felt very comfortable and found some great bars and restaurants locally off the tourist trail. Great location for walking to the centre, La Latina, El Rastro, the park (El Retiro), the art galleries and metro/train connections. Loved Madrid.
Rooms very basic, our room had a broken sink with 3x cracks in it, but did have clean bed linen and towels, shwer was hot....aircon was good, kitchenette ok.? no kettle so used a pan. The male staff member that checked us in was rude and unhlpfull. Apparently all rooms in this place had.. ###â recently been refurbished??đ€Łđ€Ł â ### poor soap dispensers 1 of which was brokenđ đ ....***. â think green washing up liquid for soap â **** and the cheapest of toilet roll.... We were here (all 128 of us for the Andre Rieu concert)....3x coaches..in total in this and the sister place/ hotel the Genova. My /our breakfast was poor and you had to go to reception for a â ticket for breakfast đ€Ł â then leave the hotel and go to the tapas bar next door??....whats all that abou? Breakfast was âŹ5 apparently...1xcoffee, 1 xjuice and 1x crossiont or 1x tostadađ it was a joke really đŁđđ....no bar in hotel? It was more like a hostel really...not God value for money...asvwe were within a group package it's difficult to work out costings for our stay 8th to 11th February 2022? Costs next week are approximately âŹ67- âŹ75 per night.....all in all not a happy person, would have not booked had we been coining independently. Would I stay here again/recommend? Not a hope in hell.
