Riverboat Inn & Suites

Absolutely wonderful experience all week end for the Vintage Hydroplane Event. The owners and staff are so welcoming and helpful , immaculate room, pool and facility. Fantastic location! I definitely have a new favorite vacation spot. ;-)

My wife and I were visiting from Florida (we are English and like to travel around the US), and I always try and choose privately owned or more boutique places to stay as I just find they have more personality, and the Riverboat didn’t disappoint.. as someone who worked hard and built a large business myself, I always have a soft spot for anyone you can see is really making an effort and cares about their business, and it is obvious the owners are putting their souls into this place.. the Riverboat manages to remain homely and has that guest house feel to it, but it is evident a lot has been invested and we really wanted for nothing. We had a King Suite on the second floor which I’d highly recommend, being really spacious, perfectly equipped and, whilst not fancy as such, it was immaculately kept, the bed was super comfortable and having the big seating area off the rooms on that floor really made it with it being summer and able to enjoy the view of the river. The welcome we received on arrival was excellent, so informative and helpful, and the little bar, live music and casual breakfast just topped it off for us. A big shout to one of the owners mom, she really made us feel at home 😊 This is the only place to stay in Madison in my opinion.. loved it!

The Inn has been upgraded and now has entertainment but its the people who own and run it that matterl They couldn't be more accomodating, gracious, and helpful. especially Zach who couldn't have been more helpful. This was the third time we've stayed there and it was definately the best. There are lots of gathering spots on the porches with comfortable furniture, televisions, and even a fire pit to enjoy! The best place for getting together with family and friends. I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.

Me and my friend stayed here over the weekend at the Riverboat Inn & Suites. The owners were truly amazing, we are so glad we chose this place to stay! We will definitely be staying here again in the near future! Chad, Ashley and Ashley's mom were very informative on the local scene and made sure are needs were tended to! Zack did an amazing job, we met him on our last day but he did not disappoint 👏 that's for sure and so was the short blonde hair lady behind the bar, I think her name was Jaime. The drinks were made perfectly by all 4 and everyone was so friendly and family oriented. This place was very clean and well taken care of!! The view was pretty cool of the river and they have a golfcart/walkway down to the river. And last but not least Jacob was 👌 awesome and gave us a ride to rent a golf cart from good Ole Jim at Acree golfcart Rentals. I highly recommend renting the golfcart during you're stay!

This is a great little place right on the Ohio River. It’s historic and has a great vibe to it. Rooms are quaint and well equipped, they even have smart TVs. Beautiful bar in the lobby and Zach is a good bartender as well as conversationalist! On the day I arrived they had live music on the patio. Beds are a little hard, but this is a complete no brainer!

Nice place to relax in front of the river. Nice patios and pool was clean. Ample room. Zack was really nice and made us feel welcomed and at home. Nice town to visit as well. It was the place we were hoping for.

This property is in the process of being renovated and updated. It was clean and the paint was so fresh you could still smell it! Everyone employed there went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. A younger couple has taken on fixing up this Inn and are doing an awesome job with it. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone planning to be in Madison to have a river view place to stay overnight.
