Riviera Hotel Macau Reviews

It may seem far from Casinos, but it is within few minutes of ride. it is on mid hill, having great view, day and night, down the lakes, casinos, bridges. Up the hill is an ancient church, now a nunery. It has gyms. Taxi drivers say the breakfast here is great, better than anywhere in town. Staff, especially Nina at front desk, are competent, decisive but yet soft and gentle. Around the hotel, there is a pathway, by the harbor and water utility board, down to the Magi temple.

The hotels location wasn’t easily accessible to nearby restaurants. The blankets were dirty, all the water and bar items were priced. The staff wasn’t welcoming. Buffet breakfast was limited, the options weren’t versatile for a four star hotel. We were vegetarians. Plus when we requested the hotel to book us a taxi for 6, the front desk couldn’t, just because he could only order a four seater. But the other hotels would always order a 6 seater. I don’t know what was the issue.

This is a very nice hotel with nice view. The hotel is superb clean with elegant European design and comfortable beds for a good sleep. It is located a little far from tourist area and at the hill side. Although that is no restaurant right beside the hotel, but with walking distance you can find eateries. The most important is the excellence service provided by the counter staffs. Love it and recommended for next stay.

The stay was good especially the Sea View Room as my sister celebrated her birthday, the room was clean, tidy and cozy, but the carpet on the hallway has a stench/ dusty smell. The unusual smell was affecting the ambience of the hotel as you go to your room. The reception staff failed to give our deposit receipt when I checked in. As I checked out, the receptionist was looking for it to have my deposit refund, good thing Bryant was helpful to check the records.

Booked a rush room today for relaxation and all i know that rivera can offer me that. 1. Nice view 2. Peaceful and quiet 3. Room is clean and not noisy Been always staying here often because of the nice view and my fave 3in1 coffee plus their superrr beautiful mug and how i wish to buy it haha!

Wonderful stay in macau. City of lights. Vibrant and fun! Nice hotel. Will come back. Fun fun fun

A good & decent hotel uphill. Nice view. Only downside is hard to get cab at times.

The room I was offered was big and clean with a view facing Macau Tower. If you want tranquility, it is a very good option as there is no ****** and far from the crowd. One can take bus no 9 or 16 or it is just 20 minutes walk (including 2 minutes walk on paved slope) from the city centre to the hotel. The day I had breakfast met a large group of packaged tour. The breakfast was so so.

Was on hill top, under renovation. no taxi availibility and was out of city. he really had bad experience

Location is a bit far from city, you will need taxi to get back hotel at night. Only few shuttle arranged daily. Room is spacious but without view, windows all cover green net. Because it is in renovation.
