Nice place close to san malo and saint paul but hard to find the place when you’re first timee to macau some taxi driver didn’t know the address at 10 tqxi driver we ask at last one know the place but we drop wrong way too far to walk carrying our luggage going up about 15min then when we get there at the hotel we found out the nearest way to drop by taxi in front of san malo then walk about 6min to hotel pensao elegante.

Hotel stay was comfortable, just that I overlooked the fact that it was a smoking hotel. As all rooms are on the same level, you could smell smoke coming from the corridor and neighbouring rooms. Im really uncomfortable staying in a smoking hotel. Though the room was quite pretty and comfortable, I'm really uncomfortable staying at a smoke filled place.

This little hotel is within walking distance from Largo do Senado and other historical sites; bus 101x from the bridge port stops a few blocks away; a night market is just around the corner, and there's a 24-hour supermarket a block away. The facilities were clean and the room looked just like new. The bed was clean and comfy, toiletries were provided, and the room had a TV and a kettle. Even though I booked a shared bathroom, it was very clean and shared with only another room. The staff was super nice, and both the check-in and check-out processes were fast and easy. Overall, I enjoyed my 2 nights in Pensão Carmen and I would book it again.

I booked 2 rooms for 2 nights for 3 adults and 1 teen. First time in Macau. We were pleasantly surprised and very much impressed by the complimentary snacks and drinks which includes daily 2 bottled water, sprite, coke, non-gassy sweet bottled drink, beer and even a bottle of red wine! There is even coffee beans and coffee grinder for you to grind and make your own coffee! We did not drink the wine as not a wine drinker, neither did we bring it home cos find it a hassle to put into luggage. The staff is very friendly. The only inconvenience is that the hotel is located in a narrow lane and there is no proper hotel lobby where U can take taxi. We have to walk about 2 mins to go main road to catch a taxi. But other than that, hotel is clean and it is near the Ruins of St Paul and few other places. Best part is it is near Koi Kei bakery where I logged 2 giant bags of almond pastry snacks back home.

Kudos and Thankful to Ms Chez, Front desk staff, luckily she is pinay and we never had a hard time communicating. She was very helpful and kind to us and she even provided us coins/change to use for the bus going to HZM. Overall great stay. The place was great. Decent and affordable hotel room for a stay in Macau. The room was clean and maintained. They provide toiletries and water at the front desk. Air-condition room with kettle, dryer and heater available. Double bed room, with cabinet and working table. Would recommend this hotel for your stay since it is Near senado square, a 6 minute walk from the hotel. 8 min walk going to Ruins of St. Paul and 10 min walk going to grand lisboa hotel where you can ride free shuttle buses going to other casinos and mall especially in studio city, parisian, venecian, and londoner. This was a very nice stay away from main Casino district (Taipa) in Macau, and we (as a family) loved it. Let me give you few bullets 1. After booking, I send email to hotel, but there was no reply for 48 hours. 2. when enquired through Trip.com, though the booking was with Club Millesime, the first answer was no access to Longue. When enquired again, Longue access was confirmed (sound like they obliged). 3. Reaching Hotel by taxi (from HZMB port) is appx 30 minutes taxi ride (120 HKD) - on reaching hotel, we found they have bus from the port every 30 minuets - details missing on their website. 4. Check-in experience was good, no delay, no unnecessary question. 5. Pleasent surprise was level of English-speaking staff at hotel. we always found someone to talk to and find required information. 6. Club Millesime (Longue - L17) available for food three times a day - Afternoon High tea, Late evening Happy Hours and morning Breakfast. Though the food options are limited (specially for Vegetarian people), we found the place enjoyable. 7. We explored the old city (opposite to hotel) in afternoon, and it was wonderful experience. we went to Fort and Wall and possibly best narrow streets in the world. 8. Rooms were good, comfortable sleep, nice TV options (TV speakers were bad while watching movie). 9. Sofitel is working hard on Environmental stuff, you can see it everywhere in room. No water bottle, no plastic, no loose item for tooth paste, lotion, shampoo, comb etc. 10. Morning breakfast (at L6) was good, good spread and many items were fresh. During holiday period, you may need to way for some time. There were a few vegetarian options for breakfast. 11. Checkout process was very easy. 12. I couldn't experience fitness center, swimming pool and restaurant due to other priorities. check few photos (room details for more information.

The place was on an street away from the noisy establishments. For the information of future guests, the reception is on the 4th floor. The receptionist couldn't speak evwn a little english so prepare ypur foogle translation if you wanna aak assistance or queries. She was very nice, though. Room was clean.

Well this is fine hotel with good view to Macao centre and Vasco da Gama square across the road. This hotel keep old style design of 80s in the good condition with restaurant on the first floor. Room is small for us, but comfortable! Surprisingly we have only 2 breakfast for 2adults+1child, so for child need to pay extra even if he didn't eat. Food variety on breakfast is more asian style, but we are lucky to get a slice of cheese 🧀 with bread) They provide shuttle bus, which is good. What is really good to find a nice swimming pool inside after all! We enjoy our stay there.

The hotel's location was fine and the facilities were all up to scratch, but our room had a very strong smell of cigarettes from the minute we checked in - either previous occupants had been smoking or perhaps someone who worked at the hotel? It was raining a lot in Macau during our stay so we were also unable to open our windows to try and get rid of the smell, but overall staff were helpful and the hotel served as a good enough place for us to spend a night during our trip. 

A real classic hotel with an European settiing. Standard rooms we got are small but clean. Easy transfers between hotel and ferry terminal. The Lisboa Hotel is linked to the Grand Lisboa. Very courteous reception.
