Spa Hotels in Lyon

I was fortunate enough to visit The Boscolo in August of this year (22) and have to say I wasn’t disappointed. The staff were welcoming and very helpful and the first impression of the hotel is fabulous. The room was beautiful, clean and very well finished with lovely comfortable beds. The treats left were very welcome too. The pool area was wonderful and the meal we had in the evening, around the pool, was exceptionally good. I would love to visit Nice again and if I do the Boscolo would be my first choice!

it was a very bad experience in this hotel, the bathroom is flooding after taking shower since the water drain so slow. Even one night no hot water provide, and my boss room suddenely no electricity. there are few steps to the escalator in the lobby, it is not convenient to take the heavy luggage up the steps. the only one good thing is the breakfast, many choices. All of us dont think it is worth of this hotel. not recommand at all. very disappointed

Amazing hotel! Absolutely loved location: shops are near, metropolitan, tram. Staff also was really nice. I can definitely recommend this hotel! The room has a cooking stove, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, it is very convenient.

This is a fun property. It's an old building that was a hospital before it was converted. The building is spectacular. It was also very clean. The rooms are quite large - by any standard and especially French standards. The space was also very well utilized. The bathroom was similarly large and well laid out. The location is excellent - near the rivers and lots of tourist areas. It's an expensive area but that's not unexpected. The wifi was good and the A/C worked well. The airport is outside the city so it costs about 50-60€ each way. The property was very quiet. They did a nice job insulating the windows to block traffic noise. Bottom line, I would absolutely return.

We stayed at a double room in the Sofitel in Lyon for a total of 3 nights in the summer of 2023. The hotel is located just a few streets from the Place Bellecour which is one of the main squares in Lyon. It is also about 5 minutes away from many cafes, bistros and a large supermarket (Monop’) near Place Bellecour. The room itself was a fairly standard double room (approximately 20 square metres). The interior and furnishings of the hotel look a bit dated but they were fine and did not matter in any material way. The minibar is complimentary and it is restocked daily with bottled water (still and sparkling), fruit juice, coca cola, and dried fruits and nuts. The bed was nice and comfortable and the pillows were firm. Our only complaint was that the air conditioning was not very consistent and it would turn off in the middle of the night. It is not an issue if you are staying here in the winter but it made it difficult to sleep at night in the summer. The staff were all very nice and pleasant. The concierge was especially friendly and he helped us to store our bags and arrange for a taxi to the train station on our last day. We paid approximately EUR250 a night and we thought it was worth the price.

If your business itinerary takes you to Lyon, then Hotel Fourviers may be your savior. Imagine walking back to your hotel in the heart of the city after a day of meetings, surrounded by charming historic buildings instead of endless traffic jams. Fourvier's network speed is so fast that you can clearly see the facial expressions of every colleague during a video conference, which may not be something you can experience at home. The in-room desk is large enough to spread out all your files and still accommodate your computer and that essential cup of coffee. Speaking of coffee, the hotel's breakfast feels like it's tailor-made to help you recover from jet lag, with so many choices that your biggest morning dilemma becomes ”what should I eat today?” In the evening, you can enjoy a meal in the hotel's restaurant or order a drink in the bar, relax, and proudly say to yourself: ”I was really productive today!” Overall, the Fourvière Hotel is the kind of place where even if A place where no matter how busy you are at work, you can feel like a guy enjoying life.

On the hill, the hotel overlooks the old town and the main church, and the scenery is breathtaking. The breakfast is very good, the variety is rich, the fruit is very fresh, and the outdoor dining environment is equally satisfying. The hotel’s Michelin restaurant is also very good, with a historic and historic location in the heart of the city. The outdoor swimming pool is also very beautiful, and you can take a look at the night in the night to enjoy the real night! This is such a wonderful gem of a hotel, it makes Lyon feel like a holiday home almost immediately. The front desk staff was only too happy to open the door to greet you, they are located in their own cozy corner on the ground floor, rather spartan because everything else - bar, breakfast spot, cocktail lounge - is up the stairs. The hotel may look deceptively quiet but we have stayed in such places where you feel like you have the whole place to yourself, when actually, it does have other hotel guests. Perched on the ancient Fourviere hills and two minutes down the slope from the Roman amphitheatre, the location is within walking distance to the Notre Dame as well as the funicular down to Vieux Lyon. The pool is really relaxing after a whole day of exploring the walking city, and has a fabulous spa of steam and sauna and massage services (book ahead). We checked in slightly earlier and were redirected to the cafe with a wide view of the city and rivers. Food was excellent. The concierge team is very friendly - Francois, Julien and Alvaro can quickly suggest and advise and research for you. Francois sorted out a dinner reservation for me where I had booked the wrong date and purchased extra meal vouchers. A really lovely time, we are telling everyone to go to Lyon now.

My wife has stayed here several times over the years, me, only couple. Lovely spa area, as usual But…. 1) the showers in the rooms are, and always have been, absolutely poor. No power, impossible to stay in a fixed position and difficult to adjust the temperature 2) the two lifts are small and incredibly slow 3) pre COVID you could go to the bar from the spa in the towelling robes. Apparently, people complained and now it is not allowed. But it is Ok for women exposing lots of flesh albeit in outdoor clothing. We don’t understand the logic We should not have to complain about the first two points about a fairly expensive 4* hotel

The hotel is very conveniently located. The hotel staff are so nice and friendly too! Will definitely come back next time!
