This is probably the smallest hyatt living till now, it feels like a factory remodeling and then hanging the hyatt card!
No lobby is super small. The left hand is the entrance to the restaurant. The curry smell drifts all year round. The elevator is like a freight elevator. The room is very small. Although the business hotel is equipped with a small hall, the total area will not exceed 25 square meters! The socket is old, and it is easy to loosen and not charge.
The only plus point may be the girl at the front desk, cheerful and enthusiastic. Been to Beijing and a little Chinese is very friendly.
In addition, the hotel only has a valet parking of $ 35 / night. The public parking space on the doorstep of the hotel and on the street behind the hotel is free from 9pm every night-9am the next day is free, 2 knifes / hour after 9am. The parking lot next to the hotel is 16 knives / night, provided that the receipt from the mall next door is required to enjoy the price. Self-driving friends can choose to park on the street and go down in the morning to pay 1-2 hours of fare.

There are two family hotels in Long Beach. This one is located by the sea. The other one is next to the airport. I have stayed at both hotels. It was the first one I lived in. The one close to the airport was not comfortable and the cost performance was not high. The parking fee plus the room charge added up to nearly 1800. My room can't see the sea yet, I booked a double bed, but gave me a double bed, and I was too lazy to change ~ The room was still clean, the cooking utensils were very complete, and the check-in staff was very enthusiastic But the air conditioner was too noisy, basically I couldn't sleep well all night! For breakfast at 9:30, there is no more food, the waiters can't wait to pack up and go home. Go early if you have breakfast.

I stayed for business beginning of August. Check-in was easy and smooth. I chose a rate with a free breakfast. Coupons were given to you at check-in, as long as 2 free bottles of water. Parking costs $27/ per day with in and out privileges'. Pool: did not use. However it did appear very spacious and clean. Plenty of lounge chairs available. no Hot Tub room: I stayed on the 12th floor over looking the Pier. It was very noisy with lots of truck traffic. The windows and walls are very thin so you do hear your neighbors above, next to you, as well as all the traffic outside. Bed was very big and had 4 pillows. A nice desk with chair to sit on. Very large 55” we well. Bathroom was very generous is size. Hot water arrived quickly to the shower. Water pressure is a normal California pressure. Room included a safe. Traveler tip: Request a room as far away from the elevator as possible. The noise of partiers coming back at 2am is very disturbing if you are right next to the elevator lobby. Bar/Restaurant: A mixed reaction here. The food was excellent, and very well priced for the area. The beers and liquor selection was very good for a hotel. However this is where I was unhappy. during 3 of 4 nights, the restaurant and bar could not accept a credit card for payment. cash or room charge only. When you select a room charge, you get a ”Convenience fee” of $6 attached to your bill. Thats for each bill. So if you had lunch and dinner, billed it to your room, that was an extra $12 ”Convenience Fee” added to your bill. Therefor the restaurant lost out on my dinner and night cap purchases due to this crazy policy. Keep in mind, like most all service industry locations, they are suffering from a lack of employment. Fitness Center: Did not visit, however is was on the second level next to the pool Breakfast: Huge selection available. From scratch ordered eggs and omelets, grits, bacon, ham and toast. A variety of cereal as well. A great selection, but its extremely pricy - be prepared. Overall a solid 3. The hotel is very old, and was once an office complex, which I think is whey the windows and walls were so thin. Will not stay again. there are several other hotels in the area that have a much more solid offering and customer service.

There are two family hotels in Long Beach. This one is close to the airport, and there are also homes by the sea. I have stayed at two hotels this time. This is my second home, it feels better than the one by the sea, because the price is cheaper. The room was neat and clean, and the utensils for cooking were very complete. I was particularly surprised that the floor in the bathroom was warm. Could it be that old hotels would also have floor heating? !! Ha ha breakfast for 9:30, there is nothing left, the waiter can't wait to pack home. Go early if you have breakfast.

We offer our guests a complimentary shuttle service to and from Long Beach Airport. Getting to Disneyland or Universal Studio is easy 20 to 25 mile from our location.

We hadn't planned on a stay in Long Beach, but were sent to this hotel by the cruise line after testing positive for COVID in the middle of our 14 day cruise. Along with several other passengers, we were required to complete the remaining days of a 10-day quarantine when we got off the ship. When I found out where we were being sent, I went online and looked at reviews. I was very disturbed about all the negativity, especially since we weren't going to be allowed to leave our room. There was no restaurant or provided breakfast on site, so we had to use Instacart, DoorDash, etc. to have things left at our door. IHG/Holiday Inn is one of the chains we use regularly and are used to things like breakfast being included, so this was missed for sure. As for other issues, yes the A/C was noisy but we were glad to have it. There was also a lot of outside noise on the side of the building where we were (traffic and other things). However, our room was clean and we had plenty of towels. I did have to ask for extra washcloths and pods for the Keurig which were quickly provided. They also gave us a menu for food delivery that was limited but inexpensive. We ordered from that menu three different times and food was good considering that nothing delivered ends up being as hot as I'd like and the rooms only had a fridge, no microwave. During our stay, I talked to at least 3 different people (Daisy, Yvette, and Elizabeth) with guest services and all were pleasant, patient and helpful with all my questions and concerns. One of my questions had to do with transportation options to LAX. I had looked at Uber and other options, but prices were all over the place. They told me they could arrange a cab for us when we were ready to leave and that it would only take about 10 minutes for the cab to arrive. We chose this option and are glad we did. The Yellow Cab charged a flat rate to LAX which was cheaper than all the other prices I had seen. So while it wasn't our choice to stay here, all in all, it wasn't as bad as I expected from others' reviews.

We were stranded, flight cancelled last minute due to Las Vegas high winds, our connection. Tired, weary and feeling hungry and grungy, we made a reservation and then called to inquire. ”Is there a courtesy airport pickup?”, ”Yes M'am, I'll be right over!” Music to our ears. And! The place is bright, cheerful and spotless, with plenty of coffee, tea and smiles. We are in love!

DDirtyLooks949I love this hotel. It's pricy but you get free parking and it's by all the shops and the airport. Laundry on site. Very clean. Very nice staff. Bar, lounge. Nice beds. Cool place.
I stayed for two nights and would have been happy to stay for many more. This hotel is about 100 years old, judging by the trim, but totally renovated. It is a beautiful building and tastefully decorated. It cost a bit more than a motel, but is definitely worth it. The room was simply delightful. There is a nice little kitchen with a dinette for two, the bath is great, there was even a large walk-in closet, a desk and chair. The bed was comfortable. The heat pump worked well, and this was important as we were having a very cold spell. The neighborhood is great. It is a quite convenient location. There is for example a Vons a block away. They use the Marriot parking garage, which is a block away and costs $15 per night. The lot is secured with a gate and pass card 24/7 and there is a security officer too, so your vehicle should be well-protected. It is only three blocks to the beach. There are several good restaurants within 1-3 blocks. The building itself was quiet. I only saw one person while I was there. I did hear people talking (and yelling) on the streets throughout the night but they didn't bother me. There is, however, a headshop on the first floor that was playing Sixties acid rock throughout the day. The only complaint I have is lack of parking. There are two 24 minute spaces out front for loading and unloading, but anyone can use them, not just guests. When I arrived they were taken, and for a long period of time so I used a loading zone and hoped for the best,.
GGuest UserThe hotel is by the sea, the balcony can see the sea view, the swimming pool is at room temperature, there is a bonfire at night, very beautiful hotel, recommended
DDirtyLooks949I always feel comfortable here and there is a beautiful view from the front of the hotel over looking the marina and the city. it's a great place to hideaway and relax.
Aaceja2020This was a very nice stay, the room and service was good. No complaints. Everyone was very nice and always willing to help when needed. They kept the entrance very clean despite people constantly walking in with snow and dirt on their boots.
WHAT WE LIKED · We stayed in the Gorgeous Penthouse on the top floor and it was beautiful. The photos are accurate other than the obvious fish eye that makes all rooms look larger than they are. We stayed here for CaliVibes festival. I'm a sucker for the historic, eccentric, unique properties with architectural details so this was right up my alley. The kitchen had beautiful tile though we didn't make any meals there - you could have made simple breakfast, lunch, etc. Mainly we used the fridge to store our late night snacks and bottled water. Basic coffee service, dishes, and utensils were provided. The old windows are so lovely and all of them open but you will get the noise from the lively bar downstairs. We had plans to drop in to the Blind Donkey but the music festival really had us beat at the end of each day. The codes for the door and the room worked well. The bed was adequate but not amazing like some hotels have. I had no issues but hubby didn't sleep as well. The bed is in a nook so you do have to kind of crawl into the bed and that was not ideal but once my head hit the pillow, I was out. The Broadlind is surrounded by cafes and restaurants and there was a grocery store just a block or two away. Very convenient location for any events at the convention center or Marina Green Park. WHAT WE DIDN'T LIKE · Check-in time is quite late at 4pm. I messaged and called the contact number provided in the email from Broadlind to ask if we could pay for early check-in ($45) on the day we arrived and never received a response to my phone call or my text message. I was happy to pay the fee if it wasn't too late on our arrival day to do so through the ”contactless” system. I did not want to pay the fee and then not be able to check in because we didn't pay far enough in advance. I had read other reviews that mentioned issues when not allowing enough advance notice for the ”incidental deposit form” to be completed before arrival. We had already done that, no issues, but now wanted to add early check-in, and ultimately, did not because of the complete lack of response. Resort fee of $35/day but there are zero resort-style amenities such as pool, gym, cafe, restaurant, or bar. No ice machine or vending machine on site. No cleaning of the room so no restock of coffee service or towels for a multi-day stay. The sofa bed was a futon and super lumpy. Blankets and pillow were provided but no sheet to put down. We found an air mattress but discovered very quickly there was a hole in it. No response to text message or phone call asking for replacement. We debated finding a sporting goods store to buy our own but ended up just roughing it on the futon. There was staff on site but they are quite stand-offish and will ignore you or act like they don't understand what you are saying to avoid helping you. SUMMARY - I adored the property and the location but the excessive ”contactless” policy is a complete turn off. If everything was perfect with the property, an
MMike DThis is not a luxury hotel, and travelers expecting a luxury hotel at these prices will be unreasonably disappointed. What do you get for the bargain prices this location offers? A secure pet-friendly room with a working electric stove, a decent microwave, a roomy refrigerator, a clean bathroom, a comfortable bed, and a nice selection of cable channels on a medium-sized tv. The location is close to the Long Beach Airport and centrally located for Orange County, Los Angeles, and Long Beach tourist attractions and business meetings. The management and staff are professional and run a tight ship, and yet are genuinely committed to making your stay as pleasant as possible. Special kudos to Purple, who made a special effort (without my request, btw) with her manager to address some very minor issues with results far beyond expectations. I checked in on xmas eve afternoon and checked out a few days after the new year during a stressful and challenging time in my life. Everyone here made it so much easier to get through, and I will always be grateful.
