Travelodge London Stratford

Good location - but a bit pricey. Carol in the dining room is a real star and a great character. Always happy to help with a smile. Bar is open until late with reasonable prices and kept clean. Night staff attentive and happy to assist with queries.

I’ve had the best conversation with the kichen staff today! Was served by a lovely young lady today. Shuma was so attentive and had a lovely smile on her face, shuma attended to all my needs, Was a pleasure to meet and chat to her. Food was amazing aswell.

Public toilets for restaurant not working all weekend, poorly filled breakfast, had ti keep asking for plates, cups and food to be replenished, the breakfast area needed to be cleaned more often our room smelt of drainage, staff were helpful .

Went to see the ABBA Voyage show and based ourselves here for Fri, Sat checkout sunday. Nice Travelodge with all the necessities. Clean room, great shower, had a view over towards olympic park. Staff very friendly. AJ, superb service over and above. Would I stay here again. Yes. Easy access to transport links as well.

Second time I have at the London Stratford. Room was clean, bed was comfy, there was extra pillows if needed. Tea and coffee in room, but also available downstairs at the dining area. My room faced the main road, but when the window was closed it wasn't too noisy at all. Went down for breakfast about 9am and it was very busy. There was only one member of staff dealing with the dining area, and there was also a bit of a wait for the hot food with it being so busy, but the kitchen staff were trying their best to get it out to us as quickly as they could, and it was all done with a smile on their face and an apology for the wait. There were a few people who complained about the wait and the fact that there was dirty dishes on the tables. BUT big shout out to the 2 ladies who had been staying at this travelodge for nearly a month. They got up and helped the poor employee who was on her own dealing with all of this. They cleared all the tables, wiped them down ready for the next customer, and they did this for about 30mins until things died down a bit. It was so nice to see and the employee (sorry I can't remember your name) was so overwhelmed with what they had done for her. Definitely be staying here again when in London.

I have booked this as a university regular London visit. This has been absolutely the worst experience I have had. The university and clarity to ensure this is well communicated with employees so that this location is avoided. Terrible smell from bathrooms, no ironer, no hair dryer, no phone and phone charges are in place for customer support. I was fasting due to Ramadan, no service to get breakfast early or refunded. You need to pay for WIFI! It was 105£ a night. Only good thing was friendly staff.
