The location is good - a 15 minute walk from Fabryczna Station on ul Josef Pilsudski close to the Galleria Lodz Shopping Mall and Piotrowska Street. I stayed 4 nights during a trip to Lodz. The room was adequate - a bit noisy as it overlooked the busy main road outside, so I needed earplugs so I didn't hear the roar of traffic through the night. However, the WiFi was good, the room had a kettle, selection of teas and bottled water and the bed and shower were fine. The staff spoke good English and were mostly very friendly and polite. It's a budget hotel and I think I got what I paid for.
From the 4-star Novotel Lodz Centrum hotel you can get anywhere quickly, including to the airport and the train station. The hotel modern architecture is eye catching, and its stylish interior combines functionality and elegance. Comfortable rooms offer big beds, heated floors in bathrooms and WIFI. Great technical and conferencing facilities, bicycle hire and experienced staff make every stay at Novotel a real pleasure.

The hotel is in a great location in Centre of Lodz right next to 'Piotrkowska Centrum' tram station and had no problem getting a taxi from Lodz Widzew train station to the hotel. After checking in l was in total shock as my room was on the 5th floor with a city view also had fridge as the two previous Hampton by Hilton hotels did not. Had a king size bed and standard of the room is what you would expect to find in a Hilton Hotel l was so happy as my booking was for a 14-night stay. Happy to point out you will hear a rumbling noise as this is cause by trams crossing the intersection near the tram station and had no problem with sleeping at night. The city view was amazing the bed was comfortable and the room amenities were great as were the cleaning staff and breakfast was convenient. If you like shopping, you are in walking distance to Galeria Lodzka or catch a tram to Manufaktura shopping mall. Restaurants, Bars, Convenience stores, some of the best Street Art you will find is nearby great for photography. Could not believe how helpful the front desk staff were and at times went out of their way to help me which l really did appreciate so much as it did make my stay more enjoyable and another reason for a return visit.

The best hotel in Lodz is not an exaggeration. I think the hotel is already at a 5-star level. Opposite is the city museum of Łódź with only 12PLN tickets, and on the opposite left is a super large shopping mall.
Thank you for choosing our Vienna House Andels Lodz hotel.

This hotel is amazing! The building was once a weaving factory (correct me if I'm wrong!) and they have done an excellent job turning it into a beautiful, functional hotel. We had a junior suite and it was huge. We didn't use the pool but the gym is very well fitted out. The breakfast buffet was excellent, so much choice. It's a great place to stay.

3 night stay with two other couples. Rooms clean and had everything we needed. Comfortable bed and lovely pillows. Second time we have used and would definitely use again. Well located on Piatrowska. Secure parking for 50PLN (£10) per day. Fabulous breakfast with as much choice as you could expect. Lovely coffee machine which we always find is a good indicator of a hotel 😀. Very reasonable price with breakfast compared to other similar hotels in Łódź. Highly recommended for short stay!

The hotel is good, not far from the city center. There is a bus station downstairs from the hotel, but if you need to take a tram, you have to walk about 800 meters, which is a bit inconvenient. It's far from the old city, and it takes more than half an hour by bus. The environment downstairs of the hotel is very good, it is a big park. However, there is no convenience store nearby, making shopping especially inconvenient. Overall it is satisfactory.

GGuest UserThe hotel is centrally located and very convenient. It is also next to a large park for walks or runs. The rooms are comfortable and have good amenities ... nothing was missing from my point of view (even had an iron which is not as common in Poland). For me, it was on top of a tram stop and it was easy to get to my client every day. Breakfast starts at 7 am and this was perfect. There is a great choice of hot and cold food and great breads. Easy walk to ”Centrum” and not hard to get to and from the airport.
GGuest UserThe first room they had assigned to me was in the hillside, very tight, and after telling me my disappointment they offered me a single room with a small price adjustment. The room was nice and all equipped to eat the dinner in the room. I appreciated the living and I must praise the gentleness of the staff I crossed. The building has no lift and for a non-adolescent person can be a disability with the baggage to be dragged.
JJames WThe staff at the hotel were exceptional. Everyone, from the manager to the front desk attendants to the wait staff in the dining room, went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Nothing was a problem--they did everything possible to make us feel like valued guests. The room we had was large and comfortable, and it was very clean. Breakfast was good as well. The hotel was good value for money, and I would stay again.
I've not used accommodation similar to The Good Time Aparthotel in the UK. It's not a hotel, nor an air B & B, but has advantages of both. It's greatest asset is location together with a building full of character making it a great place to stay. The building clearly had a former use and retains some of the original features. It's at the centre of Lodz's evening culture, bars and restaurants / cafés are close to hand, but it still manages to preserve a quiet relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast is available amongst a wide choice of nearby venues and the rooms are equipped for basic self catering. Lack of a lift means tackling the dated stairs. (I was on the third floor). English speaking staff are helpful and friendly. Overall an interesting and convenient place to stay which I enjoyed visiting.
GGuest UserWe stayed here for one night at the weekend, the room was nice and clean, liked the decor, the bathroom towels were falling apart though! The lady on reception was nice however we went to the restaurant to get a table for two and the guy who worked in the restaurant was extremely rude for no reason at all. The restaurant was full apparently after being told to go down and get dinner, so we asked where else locally we could go, he said he didn’t know… ‘I don’t know’ offered nothing else… I asked the two women working with him (who were not busy at this moment) then said they didn’t know. Rude and unhelpful and very awkward! We left and the receptionist called us a taxi and we went to an amazing restaurant called Brednia about 5 minutes away. Food and drinks there and service wonderful! Came back to our room (17) Couldn’t get to sleep as there were really loud groups in the lobby which was next to our room. A call to reception didn’t help and the noise carried on. I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend sadly.
GGuest UserThe hotel is basic but in a good way. If you were in the uk this would be a premier inn or travel lodge. The rooms are small but have everything that you need. The shower was powerful and very refreshing. The location is excellent for all the restaurants and shops of Łódź. The hotel is clean and the staff are helpful. Parking can be a bit of a pain to find but once you know where it is it is easy. The only real downside is that it is located next to a building site, this however was not a problem as we were there over the weekend and their was no activity on site.
GGuest UserRoom 3 oc. large, spacious. No refrigerator. The bathroom has some shortcomings, I think it was not cleaned enough because it is a little decreasing. The hotel smells of food, just smelled bad. Service is nice. At breakfast ok, everyone can find something for themselves, various cereals, milk, yoghurt, cheeses, raisins, bread, broth, broilers, sausages, suffocated ovens, pancakes, cup of coffee strongly medium. To Piotrovsky tram line 15 - it goes up to 40 min. from Kurczaki-Chojny stop. To zoo - tram 15 then move on e.g. 80A. Beside the hotel delicious pizzeria - Oliviaria.
XXIANHAOThe hotel's single rooms are very good and cost-effective. The toilet and bathroom are shared, but they are very hygienic and clean, and there is no problem at all. Free coffee and tea are provided. There are sofas in the lobby of the hotel where you can sit and relax. English at the front desk is also very good. Wall crack recommended.
