This is an old grand hotel. Great location an easy walk to many popular destinations. The room is huge with high ceilings and the bed was comfortable. Please know that this hotel is huge and you literally have to walk around the halls to find an elevator. The furniture in the rooms needs some updating and the flooring in front of the elevators on each floor desperately needs renovation but this property overall is a good value.

Brilliant location, right in the centre. The staff were brill - checked in early and left luggage- when we returned the room wasn’t ready so ordered a wine which came at the same time as our room became available so the staff took it to our room and bags for us. Had a junior suite which was perfect for a family . Complimentary drinks went down a treat pre evening meal. Were booked into the Resident in Covent Garden later this week so hopefully they will be as amazing as the team in Liverpool

Checked out this morning as I had an appointment at Liverpool Hospital, beds were very comfy and the Hotel was very welcoming, lovely fish aquarium in the lobby which was very fitting with the theme. Breakfast was great with very lovely food and lovely wait staff, in particular a lovely tall brown haired girl, I forgot to ask her name, stood and had a conversation with me then gave me directions to the hotel and offered to call my taxi for me. Would recommend to any weary travellers looking for a good nights sleep and a lovely cooked breakfast.

First time staying in this type of accommodation and were very pleased. Room great, amazing location with so much nearby and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go from here (train station, University, tours, shopping, restaurants) while feeling completely safe. Reception staff were so friendly and made us feel very comfortable. Suite had everything we wanted and was so quiet even though it overlooked the street. I stayed at this hotel for three days when I came to Liverpool this time. In terms of hygiene, the pillowcases, sheets and bath towels all had dirty stains and yellow spots. It was really inconsistent with being a 5-star hotel (although they were replaced immediately when we asked for them). Second, it happened that the waiter left the towel in the room after cleaning the room. We returned the towel and took it away without apologizing or anything. It is recommended that you really bring your own sheets and pillowcases when you go abroad. The quality of the five-star hotels shows that the cleaning or acceptance standards of many items are not up to standard. But the dining environment in the lobby of u1s1 hotel is very beautiful, and the service and attitude in the lobby are very good. well

Descent for the money ,room was fine and tidy was this sort of money I can’t complain,basically does the the job ,it’s abit of a maze inside but that was part of the charm have stayed here before and hasn’t changed at all . Basic simple bag drop type of place .

Was a good night sleep despite our worries when first arriving very buisy outside main roads and shopping centres but inside the room it wasn't too bad was clean and comfortable everything we needed had to get some extra tea milk and sugar but nothing to much trouble

Centrally located within walking distance to the town centre, shopping centres, cinema’s, fast food outlets and free hotel parking located in the hotel grounds. The room was large, spacious and very clean. Well appointed with sound proofed windows and good block out curtains. The sleep quality was great as the room was so dark with the curtains shut and the room was so quiet. Super comfortable bed with lovely linens and nice pillows in a climate controlled room - bliss. The air conditioning worked really well, especially during UK’s heat wave. The room was equipped with everything that you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Bathroom was very clean, good water pressure and thumbs up for environmentally bottled toiletries, which were very fragrant & lovely to use. Bathroom was well lit and had a decent hair dryer. Swimming pool & gym facilities were available, however you had to book a time-slot of when you wanted to use these facilities – which wasn’t an issue, you just had to be a little bit organised. Breakfast in the restaurant was fresh & plentiful, waitstaff were very polite and friendly. Bar was small and intimate with excellent bar service and a nice range of beverages to choose from. All the staff were fabulous and very accommodating. Faultless stay and we can’t wait to return.
