The views are lovely, but it's very overpriced for the level of service and amenities on offer. Some thoughts: 1. It's very understaffed. We sat in the dining room for almost 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. The service was fine once it happened, but it was clear that there just weren't enough staff on hand. The concierge at the front desk (Duck) was very helpful, but he really was the only one. They're charging Four Seasons prices with Motel 8 service. (Although, the staff in the spa were great). 2. The rooms are nice, but you can absolutely hear the people in the room next to you. Very little soundproofing, so do bring earplugs. 3. A lot of the property appeared to be in disrepair - peeled and faded paint, open trash/debris, etc. Again, they're charging premium prices, but it's not being kept-up and maintained like a premium property. 4. Considering they're automatically charging you a "resort fee" of $35 dollars a day, which includes breakfast, it's a little odd that the breakfast never included any meat. I'm not even that big a meat eater, but it seemed like a very purposeful choice by management to save on their costs. Again, this would not be a practice of a true premium property. 5. The bar wasn't open most nights we were there, so if you want a nightcap, you have to leave the property. That's frustrating.
