The most satisfying hotel during my summer vacation trip was a B&B in a scenic spot. I booked it blindly, but I was full of surprises after I checked in. When we were about to arrive at the scenic spot, our little brother called and asked us to wait at the entrance of the parking lot. He took us to find a parking space, parked the car, bought tickets, and checked in through the gate of the scenic spot. Be careful not to buy a ferry ticket. The little brother sent us directly to the hotel (taking the internal road, self-driving cars are not allowed to enter the scenic spot). Check-in was quick, and there was unlimited free coffee and tea drinks in the lobby. Our room was called Ruyi. It was in 501. We could see the Drum Tower of Zhaoqing Dong Village printed on the entrance of the scenic spot. The scenery outside the bathtub window looked like a painting. The room is very new, with a smart toilet, a Dyson hairdryer, four bottles of water, Starbucks bagged coffee, a plate of fruit, and a small refrigerator with Coca-Cola, Sprite, Prickly Pear Juice, Wong Lao Ji, Soda Water, and Mineral Water. The main feature is a rich variety. The store pays great attention to details. The bathtub comes with a bathtub cover. The slippers are of good quality and not disposable. There are also washable slippers and the TV can be cast. Not long after I checked in, the store sent me a hand-drawn map of the Dong Village. The consultation was patient and timely. I asked if there was any needlework and it was quickly delivered to the room. Breakfast and afternoon tea were both delicious. When you leave, you will be sent to the parking lot. I will come again if I have the chance. I highly recommend staying in the Ancient Song Secret Land when you come to Dong Village.

Stayed for two nights. It is located at the entrance of the village. The advantage is that it is very quiet. It is not as noisy as the commercial street inside. It is a brick house, which is more comfortable and soundproof than the wooden house. However, you have to walk a few steps in the middle to eat. minute. The public space of the B&B is very comfortable. The store manager and boss are super nice. They can pick you up and drop you off when you come from the high-speed rail station. They will use WeChat to send you tickets, precautions for entering the village, etc. before you arrive. With our children, we also booked fishing, batik, and bonfire parties for us. A total peace of mind. Special thanks to the store manager. We bought two large and one small bonfires. The next day she came over to refund my money, saying that if the child was dissatisfied with the height, it would be free of charge. The money was overcharged. They really operate with integrity! ! When we left, the boss lady drove us there. I heard that we had never been to the observation deck, so we went around to the observation deck at the middle of the mountain to let us overlook the whole Dong Village.

Located inside the Zhaoxing village. Facilities are good and room was cleaned daily. The toiletries are basic and I recommend you bring your own. There were free 2 bottles of water everyday but there is also a water dispenser at the reception. The guy at the reception picked me up from the village gate so it was easy and I did not have to search for the location. He gave me an introduction to the map of the village and showed me where interesting areas are located. The hotel is a short walk to town hospital which is convenient for covid testing and also the bus stop to go to Miao village and railway station. My room has a balcony that faces the lake, very nice view. The reception guy was very helpful, answers all my questions and also helped me purchase local snacks to take back to Shanghai. Not sure if he sleeps because he was always available! Breakfast is Chinese noodles with some purple taro, mantou and egg. It's the same everyday. I had a very relaxed and comfortable stay! We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and would love come back! + really nice, open and warm hosts/staff: we felt very welcomed, had really sweet conversations, got great recommendations for activities and places to visit in and around zhaoxing, were picked up from the train station, were invited for tea and youcha and even got a room upgrade + clean, comfy and spacious rooms with great views and aircon + great location - right at the village entrance in a calm street close to all major attractions + easy and fast communication via wechat

This time, we chose Wuyushanfeng Holiday B&B for our Dong Village trip. We looked around online for a long time before booking. The real feeling is that it is really good. After arriving, we contacted the B&B and a brother came to pick us up and help with the luggage. The location of the B&B is very good, not far from the door, which saves a lot of walking on gravel roads and climbing uphill. It is also very convenient to go to other places. When we arrived at the B&B, a lady gave us a brief introduction to the tour route of the Dong Village. There are also prepared fruits and drinks in the room. The service is also very warm and thoughtful. In short, it is really recommended~

The hotel is located at the entrance of the village, a few steps away from the main street. The room is really big and well designed. The bathroom is almost as big as a small room. The balcony room can see the scenery outside the village and there is a hanging chair on the balcony. The proprietress is very nice. We just happened to come across her freshly made glutinous rice and yellow flower glutinous rice cakes. She enthusiastically treated us to eat them. They were delicious and the oranges were very sweet. After chatting with the proprietress, I found out that there was another young lady in the store who was also traveling alone. We successfully got together and had a great time. The hotel's pick-up and drop-off service was terrible. The driver was waiting outside the high-speed rail station half an hour early. I was embarrassed. Their house was newly built and renovated in the past two years. It has a brick structure and good sound insulation. It is very pleasant to listen to the gurgling sound of the stream outside at night.

After a lot of twists and turns, we arrived at the village at around 11 o'clock. The boss was super nice. He kept calling to inquire about the situation and immediately arranged for us to park the car. He just happened to catch up with the Lusheng Festival and treated us to a super delicious barbecue beer. The boss's friends were also very enthusiastic haha. ~Feel full of sincerity~ Let’s talk about the B&B again. The rooms are clean and bright, and the design is very artistic. It is quiet in the bustle. At the door is the lotus pond planted by the owner. You can see it when you open the curtains in the morning. Open the window and you will see the view. It is very comfortable to have a cup of coffee on the roof of the B&B. Sitting there from dusk to sunset, watching the lights light up everywhere in the village, it was very comfortable. ps: The boss’ little dog Xia Tian is so well-behaved! He has big white eyes and a wagging little tail. He even follows us out for a walk. I love him so much~ I didn’t go to Qianhu Miao Village, but got a special surprise in Zhaoxing Dong Village. I escaped from the urban planning and experienced the fireworks of Dong Village ~ it was worth it!

Each person can save 40 yuan for round-trip tickets from the high-speed rail station to the gate of Dong Village and shuttle tickets. Free room upgrades are also provided in the off-season. There are many cute cats!

The most important thing when choosing a place to stay is that the room is quiet and clean, and the most important thing is that it is close enough to delicious food and fun. This B&B fits the bill perfectly. It is very close to the delicious food nearby. Just turn left or right when you go out and walk to the nearby delicious restaurants such as Liao Fatty and Dong Pinfang. It’s also very close to fun things. Turn right out of the village to take pictures. The green rice fields and distant mountains form a perfect background. Turn left for 3 minutes to reach the wonderful bonfire party in Dong Village. The boss is also very nice and responds in a timely manner. Recommended recommended.

The best experience of this trip, the hotel is in a good location, just next to the main street, and the path leading to the hotel is surrounded by high walls like Disney, cutting off the hustle and bustle outside. I heard that this location was originally the primary school in the village. After the primary school moved away, they took over this Feng Shui treasure land, which is located in the center. Every service staff in the store is warm and thoughtful, and you can see the care and hard work of the boss and staff. Every detail is done very well. There is a program of Dong ethnic group big song in the evening, there is great coffee at the bar, and each welcome fruit is washed (including bananas, the first time I have seen washed bananas), and the breakfast is very rich, clean and hygienic. And I am not polite to say that in so many days and so many places in Guizhou, the best bowl of noodles is eaten here. There is also a washing machine in the room, and there are shuttle buses to take us to the boarding point to go to the surrounding attractions. Before leaving, I also gave the boss the intangible cultural heritage souvenir purple rice. When visiting the village, I also found that the owner of this store also donated generously to the market cultural activities of the village. The coffee equipment was also moved from Shanghai. All in all, I highly recommend staying here. Since you are here, spend a little more money and give yourself a better life experience. P.S. I spent 4,000 yuan just to stay overnight in Sailimu Lake.
