Creta Maris Resort Reviews

Today I had a deep tissue massage at Creta Maris Spa. This was my 56th birthday present from my wife. My experience from Dimitris was outstanding. He was fully professional and a master of his craft. He showed skill and knowledge. He definitely removed all the notts in my back and thoroughly massaged my neck either side of the spine. He deeply massaged my shoulders. He passed on advice to help alleviate the neck pain I suffer from. I came away from the Spa an inch taller and completely relaxed. I commend you Dimitris. You are a credit to the resort and Spa. I would recommend everyone pay a visit to see Dimitris. You will not be disappointed. Thank you.

One of my fav all inclusive resorts in Europe. All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. So much to do 12 pools to sit by 8 restaurants to eat in and 10 bars for drinks. Luxury beds by some pools What I loved Adults only bar , comfy beds and pillows , quality of food at the speciality restaurants , smoothie juice bar. Great cocktail menu great spa treatments. The service everywhere. We stayed in the bungalows which was a lovely quiet area. The water park. So clean everywhere. Great cinema playing current movies every night. What I didn't Lack of variety in the speciality restaurants many being Greek or Mediterranean food. No adult only pools. Need more bar staff the wait times for drinks at times was too long. Only able to book speciality restaurants from 7.30am so you have to set your alarm and wake up early on your holiday if you want one of the good ones. the road that runs through the resort splitting it in 2 although there are bridges that connect there is a lot of traffic noise in some of the rooms the mini golf is disappointing Although it was expensive I thoroughly enjoyed our week and it felt luxurious

The best hotel I have ever stayed at. The hotel is just stunning and it’s like staying in a little Greek village. Everything you need in one resort! My 5 year old absolutely loved everything about the holiday and we will 100% return! Worth every penny!

Creta Maris Resort. Well what can I say, having been caught up in the Crowdstrike debacle, TUI managed to negotiate emergency accommodation for one night then another.  We all arrived around 11:30 but were held up on checking in until the restaurants were closed. After Which we were processed very quickly, I get it; they hadn't expected a late rush for the restaurant and so were not prepared. That said when asked if they could perhaps give some fruit or anything we were told no. Some of us hadn't eaten since lunch! We ventured out into the town where we eat at Mammos (very nice by the way as were the surroundings). The next morning we arose and had to check out of our rooms as TUI had only negotiated one night's stay. No problem, the staff were very accommodating and friendly, we were still allowed to use the facilities and still had all inclusive privileges. The staff tried to make us feel very welcome despite our circumstances,difficult given the low mood. They were as much in the dark as we were about what was going on. Around 5pm we were informed that we would be staying a second night; and that we would be updated on our repatriation flights at 5 pm the following day. This had a relaxing effect on us and we could finally enjoy the environment we found ourselves in. The staff were excellent, I know its unfair to single out one person but, Panagiota was outstanding in her compassionate and friendly care of my wife and I.We almost forgot we were stranded in Crete!  The resort was very nice but sun loungers were difficult to get as mos guest were reserving them with towels, something which was not allowed at our original resort The Elounda Village. It is a larger resort and very busy, but the staff work hard to help you enjoy your stay. I will always  be grateful for their hospitality and kindness. If you are looking for a good family resort I would definitely recommend this one.

The resort is amazing. The all inclusive is amazing. The personell is super friendly and lovely. But the rooms in the Terra building are never near 5*. We did an maintence request at the reception. But it was never fixed. The shower head was leaking and the airco worked but didnt blew cooled air. The terra rooms are super outdated and i was dissapointed in them. And also the are very far located from the main building. So if you want to have a central room book one in the maris ( i didnt knew this) or sea sight rooms. Although we are very far on the resort every building or bungalow area has a pool and snackpoint/bar. But in my humble view Enomy is a great restaurant and from our room it was quite a walk every time. And dont take the dress code to lightly with diner you cant show up in slippers/ flip flops or sports wear. During breakfast/lunch isnt a problem. But never show up in swim wear. I know in other countries they arent this strict but just an heads up.

Nice place with all included. Many different restaurants, attractions for kids and sports. Own Spa, thanks to good massage for Dimitris, very relaxing. Could be more heated swimming pools, a bit cold in some of them, especially in waterpark.

Everything was perfect @ Creta Maris !!! ...... The food 🤤 delicious... The hotel/bungalows 😍 beautiful... We stayed here for 11 days with a 1.5 year old child. Everyone was really friendly We will definitely come back. ευχαριστώ για τις όμορφες διακοπές

Me and my partner had a couples massage and facial with Lydia and Maria. The treatments were fantastic and we left feeling totally relaxed. All Spa staff were extremely friendly and approachable. We would definitely recommend and come back!

I visited the Aegeo Spa today and Bosko was my masseur. I would highly recommend ! My husband and I began our experience in the steam room together, then began our treatments. I had the body scrub, full body and face massage . A fantastic end to a wonderful family holiday❤️Thank you

Amazingly relaxing experience with Dimitris - my first time at a spa and my first massage and I now can’t wait to do it again. Dimitris made me feel so comfortable and relaxed and I feel so much better after the experience. 100% worth visiting this spa and highly recommend Dimitris.

Excellent service by Christina ! Would recommend very much. The massages was soothing and information received about stiff areas was very interesting which I took home to reduce further after treatment. Steam room was fresh and peaceful. Overall very satisfied

Spa visit- facial- fantastic facial from Dimitrios. Very informative as well re. general skincare and friendly. Also had a Cretan massage during our stay which was also good. Would also recommend visiting the seafood restaurant whilst at the resort. Great service and food. Would not suggest families visit Pithos restaurant. Atmosphere and service not friendly towards ＜1 year olds and 8 year old

Liked · Staff, was exceptional, always smiling., polite and helpful. You can see that Creta Maris is managed by a very professional and competent team. Beach was terrific. The whole place is kept very clean. You can find good snacks and drinks all day long. We used their Android app during our stay and managed restaurant reservations and all other requests by ourselves without calling or visiting the reception desk even once. Disliked · Even though it was not allowed to reserve sunbeds, this policy was not enforced. Almost impossible to find a shade next to the pools after 8 AM. The room that we stayed in the main building was not up to the standard of the rest of the resort. It was well maintained and very clean but showed its age.

It was a very nice experience. The place was clean and the whole crew was very useful and make you feel comfortable. The massage was super relaxing, I really enjoyed it. Dimitris was the person who took care of me and he was nice and professional. Totally recommended.
