On arrival I asked a guy whose comprehension of English was bad.A day later the room was changed as Air Conditioning didn’t work and neither the television. Breakfast was excellent. I returned later to collect post after I checked out to encounter a guest having same issues I had. Don’t allow a room that everything isn’t working in change it immediately. Room change excellent double and not single though same guy turned air conditioning off again as ‘cool’ was interpreted as I was cold!! I wouldn’t return though the guy who changed my room was very nice, understanding and I think I was VERY lucky. I don’t think the room change could have happened without his excellent command of English.

Let's talk about the hotel again, the location is good, next to the train station and the large shopping mall, about ten minutes walk from the Charles de Gaulle Square, it is very convenient to eat around. However, the traffic around the people is very large, the personnel are very mixed, and it is necessary to pay special attention to safety. There are advantages and disadvantages for taking children to travel. Hotel health is not up to standard, cleaning is not clean, it is hard to imagine European standards. Hotel hardware facilities are also general. To the hotel ***agement who might have the chance to browse this comment, please double check your hotel policies on children before making it public. Simply saying we refuse you to check in because you have two kids with you seems very rude and inhu***e. Your staff cited the reason of SECURITY to refuse the check-in of children is very ridiculous, however, this is not the point. The point is that you should publicize it in advance, instead of annoucing ”all children are welcome”but when children come, you start to say ” no, you are not welcome”.

Located in the center, the surrounding dining is convenient; the sanitary environment is good; the facilities are also good, the room size is too small. The breakfast is full, and there is bubble water, unlimited drinks.

Book this hotel because we had a train at 6am and it was next to the station. We had an issue because we booked for 4 persons (2 adults and 2 kids). But at the hotel, they says we only booked for 2 adults and they asked us to pay additionnal fee for extra people. The issue was between the booking platform and the hotel. I don't know how but somehow the commnication between them was incorrect. And it was to the customer to pay again because of the mistake between them. And the hotel was telling us that we were cheating, trying to go with 4 people and paying for 2 which was wrong.

Rooms hot and poorly ventilated. We We’re pleased it wasn’t summer! The bed was comfortable and linen clean and fresh. Bathroom was ok, but so small I could barely fit into it. Little room between sink and door. One smallish towel was provided per person and one of our towels had a hole in it. The toilet seat was awful. Neither the lid or the seat would stay up. Really awkward for males. Not even plastic glasses were provided in the room, so you couldn’t have a drink of water. Bar was ok but very expensive. Restaurant is a shipping container in the back yard. No doubt very cool and all that but its facilities were meagre. We ordered 2 pizzas and were warned it could be a 50 minute wait. We decided that was just about acceptable. However it took 1.5 hours to deliver our order! It might be funky and all that but it was very, very slow. In fact really poor. Staff friendly, with good English spoken throughout. Parking plentiful and it felt secure. The hotel is too far from the city centre to be convenient. We walked in twice and whilst quite a pleasant walk it is about 40 minutes. There were no shops or restaurants within easy walking distance. It wasn’t exactly cheap but OK. Overall average.

We stayed at this hotel twice: in December 2022 and in February 2024. The location might not be the most obvious (however, it takes about 8 minutes of leisurely walk to both metro stations in between which the hotel is located). The location on its own is a little bit outside of the city centre, however, you get from this hotel to the city centre rather quickly. There's a shopping centre next door, which takes half of the distance to the nearest metro station. The hotel is relatively new (I think when we were there in 2022 it just opened), therefore most things are still in a very decent shape. Both times when we stayed at this hotel, we observed that it was sparkling clean. The size of the rooms is also large by French standards, and the rooms are fairly well-equipped. The only 2 pieces of criticism that we could offer would be to replace paper cups with porcelain cups in the room (if possible) and ensure that the soap is replenished (we got a refill bottle at reception, but it would've been so much less hassle if the hotel would've put it in advance). The WiFi works well. We didn't try any breakfast at this hotel, as on both occasions we had planned brunches with friends, however. judging by the price and the looks of it as we were passing by, it would be a good value.

Very unexpected, the price is very real, but the inside is clean and tidy, especially good, the kind of value for money

We picked this hotel because we were going to the Champions League between Lille and Chelsea. The location was perfect. We were about 15/20 minutes walk away. We arrived and were upgraded to a studio which had a double bed and single bed in the main bedroom and a double sofa bed in the other room. It also had self catering facilities. The hotel has a very good bar, selling 3 different beers on tap, one being 8.5 % volume! It also had a good selection of spirits. Buffet breakfast is €11 each and was well worth the money. All the staff were helpful and friendly, especially the sweet man who worked in the kitchen providing a wonderful breakfast. So happy and kept everything topped up. All in all a lovely hotel which I would thoroughly recommend, especially if you are going to the Stade Pierre Mauroy for a game or going into Lille City Centre as there is a Metro station (Cite Scienfifique) which is only 15 minutes walk away.

Très suffisant pour un déplacement professionnel, et surtout très bon rapport qualité-prix. Pour un autre type de séjour, peut-être trop léger : décoration assez inexistante, juste le strict nécessaire. Je déplore tout de même l'absence d'un café/thé d'accueil avec la bouilloire électrique à disposition dans la chambre (seules deux doses hydroalcooliques vous attendent sur le bureau). Sinon la douche est pratique et une nouvelle fois sans esthétisme particulier. En points très positifs donc : l'emplacement immédiat gare, le calme (les trains ne s'entendent pas beaucoup), la sympathie ++ du personnel notamment au petit déjeuner (agréable de commencer la journée avec des sourires).
