First the positive: The hotel is very well located and only a few steps away from a lively chairlift that leads directly to the ski area. The hotel offers free parking in its own underground car park, where after several attempts we were even able to charge our car using a normal socket with an extension cable, also free of charge. The ski room with the heated ski boot rack is great! A big compliment also to Marc, who runs the shop competently and is very friendly and helpful. We had a deluxe double room, which was nicely and modernly furnished, and the size was also quite okay. Now for the negative: You had to be at the breakfast buffet as early as possible, because although it was offered until 10:00 a.m., a lot of things were missing from 9:00 a.m. and unfortunately were not replaced. The buffet, which was available from 9:15 a.m., was very modest and by no means in keeping with a 4-star hotel at this price. The spa area was only open from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., which you might want to use in bad weather or heavy snowfall in the morning. A whirlpool or heated pool is also definitely missing here! As I said, Marc is great. The other person at reception, a lady, on the other hand, was the exact opposite. She tried to be friendly, but was completely clueless and unable to recommend restaurants or give information about activities such as night sledding. After working at this hotel for 2 years, she didn't even know when the afternoon ski passes were available (I think she meant from 11:00 a.m....). That's a shame and you expect different things in a place like this. What bothered us most was that we had to share our balcony (we had room no. 24) with two other rooms and you could see into the other rooms. The curtains therefore always had to be drawn, even during the day, and sleeping with the balcony door open, as we like to do, was out of the question. Zero privacy, that's not acceptable! Our room had a mountain view as promised, but was right on the main road, where there was a lot of traffic from 7:00 a.m. onwards, making it impossible to sleep in. It was just very loud, especially the snow plows early in the morning. The bottom line is that the hotel scores points for its location and clean, comfortable rooms, but the shortcomings in terms of breakfast, the balcony, street noise, staff and spa mean that it is definitely not worth 4 stars and is completely overpriced. What a pity...
