DDickersonI was totally disappointed on this trip. I booked a Standard King room and upon entering the room noticed that it wasn’t what I reserved. I was given the keys to a King Mobility roll in shower room (Handicap) instead.
I spoke to the front desk who informed me that the 3rd party booked this evidently in error. My question was how, when my confirmation states, Standard King. 5 minutes later the front desk called and stated that there were no more Standard Kings left but they would accommodate me with a Standard Double if I like along with being offered complementary snacks since I was upset. I declined both, because
I believe after I mentioned my confirmation number they went back, checked it and realized that the mistake was on their end. I will be in contact with Trip because there was a difference in price as I also mentioned to the front desk rep as well.

GGuest UserThe only thing I liked about this hotel was the clean rooms. Everything else: a major disappointment. We checked in Thursday 7/21, and the front desk computers were down. The front desk agent registered me by pen and paper, it took 25 minutes. When I went to my room, the air conditioner wasn't working, so I had to go back to the front desk and change my room (another 10 minutes by pen and paper). The air conditioning units in each room, lobby, and dining area were over 30 years old. The hotel itself (lobby, dining area, exterior building, landscaping, and parking lot) wasn't well maintained and didn't reflect the photos shown on the Travelocity website. There was peeling paint in our guest bathroom, and the furniture in the lobby was faded, dirty, and worn. The lobby computer was sitting on a desk that was bar high, but had a normal sized chair instead of a bar stool. The lobby computer also had unreliable internet connectivity. The bathroom had motion sensors that turned the light and fan on every time you walked in or past the bathroom. The front desk had staff who were visibly frustrated and unmotivated regarding the issues with the hotel. Two front desk personnel informed me they were on the receiving end of other angry, dissatisfied guests. The housekeeping staff wore regular clothes, not clothing indicating they were housekeeping; some of their clothes were untidy, and one of them was wearing jeans without a belt; his pants were hanging below his butt. Both ice machines were out of order. The website listed an outdoor swimming pool. but it was located at the adjacent hotel (a rundown hotel) next door and it was out of order. It didn't look like the pictures on the website. At 1215am Friday a front desk agent knocked on my door because they forgot I moved to another room. He needed to confirm that the room was occupied and not vacant. Breakfast had very few items, some of the items, such as fruit appeared frozen and almost rotten. I paid for two rooms for a total of $988 for an average cost of $165 a night. I rate this hotel as two stars. When it comes to hotels, first impressions and overall presentation are two key factors. Based on my three night experience, I won’t be returning. I did speak to the manager about the issues, and I received a $100 credit on my hotel bill. However, offering small credits pale in comparison to the overall issues of this hotel. The management and ownership seemed to care more about business than repeat business. When speaking to them directly, I felt they offered lip service, but no genuine concern for the issues with the hotel. I believe the issues I had with this hotel aren’t recent, and management nor ownership hasn’t taken any steps to improve the minor issues and the overall appearance and services of this hotel. Without an external inspection or audit, I feel the issues will be an ongoing experience for anyone who stays there.

JJackie KittellMy stay was quiet and that is what I was looking for. The woman at the front desk was nice when I was checking in. As far as the facilities there wasn't too many but I already knew that. The room was very clean, and when walking in smelled nice too. It's also close to a lot of convenient stores, places to eat etc. All within walking distance. Overall my stay was enjoyable.

GGuest UserMake sure to book through a 3rd party to get cheaper rates. The rooms are not big so less luggage the better. Rooms are outdated but serve the purpose. Room has a mini refrigerator and microwave which is nice. They have a nice breakfast option of cereal, toast, bagel, waffle, muffins, fruit, coffee, orange juice, apple juice. There is an elevator available. The surrounding area has many dinner and shopping options which is really nice, some within walking distance.

Mmdy616This is an outdated hotel that lacks an elevator. Every floor requires the use of steps or a ramp for the basement rooms. The hotel has a musty smell. The rooms were fairly clean. It has free in-room-wifi. When we visited the area the local college was having a homecoming football weekend so all of the other well known hotels were booked. The fact we were able to book four rooms on short notice kind of tells you this is not the first choice. The cleaning staff was very accommodating. The breakfast buffet was adequate and not as many choices as you would find at other hotels. Don't use the snack vending machine! It took everyone's money without giving the snack. When I spoke to the person in charge the night it happened she was not helpful at all and asked if I could talk to the manager the next day when he came in. I was never able to speak to him because he was never there when I was so I lost my money. I heard several other similar complaints. Over all this was a very average hotel that is in dire need of upgrades.

KKayla VThe only reason I am giving a 2 is because the lady at the front desk was AMAZING. She was more than I could have asked for at a budget friendly place. She went above and beyond for us and tried to make the best of an awful situation. She honestly deserves a raise, or at the very least an opportunity to work at a location that isn't so run down. It is obvious she cares very much so for the facility and I am unsure why it is so run down. Hopefully she is given a better budget and better resources to properly run this location. I forget her name because it was so unique, but she is someone this company should not let go of. She is definitely a keeper!!!. The rooms are ok for what you pay for, but my daughter opened the door to the adult sleeping area and the handle on her side fell off. The elevator had a not so great smell that an attempt was made to cover up. The bathroom and the pool area were not very clean either. Clearly a hot tub used to be there that is no longer there. The patio chairs are not something we were willing to sit on. There was a couple having a domestic in the room next to us and our whole floor smelled like ****. I understand that it has been decriminalized, but there is a very clear no smoking policy and it's not very family friendly to have that smell lingering everywhere you go. We switched hotels within 3 hours.

AAllie DThe hotel was undergoing a renovation when we came. Although I'm sure the renovation will eventually be nice, there was much to be desired. Firstly, although the listing on ********** said the room slept 5, it slept four and we had to cram three large kids into one bed as there were not trundles or anything provided. There was no seating in the room - when we ate in the room we had to sit on the beds. The beds were so squeaky they woke us up at night from just rolling over. The bathroom sink did not drain properly and bugs also came out of the drain. There was no breakfast even though it said it was provided online on the hotel's website. The worst part was that we were not offered a refund or credit even though the listing was not as described. Will never stay here again. I expect a budget hotel for a budget price, but saying things in the listing that are not true is crossing a line.

My stay was great. 💋💋Daryus was wonderful. He got me a good room I appreciate him. Betty, was outstanding and surely the manager was also exceptional. And the rest of the staff I had a good stay no issues, except for the Wi-Fi other than that I was good
