JJames DI rarely leave reviews, but I felt compelled to leave this review. I was in town celebrating my daughter's 1st birthday, and I shared this information with Renee, who was working at the front desk. To my surprise, Renee said excitedly, “We love parties! We will make the day special for your daughter.” Erika, a cleaning staff member, overheard our conversation from the back office and said, “We will help you decorate as well!”  Not thinking too far into their statements I ran around town trying to make my daughter's day special. After picking up her cake to my amazement, I came back to see a picture-perfect fully decorated area. I’m not kidding; every single employee working that day came by to wish my daughter a Happy Birthday. They totally went up and beyond making her day so special. It was a day I will never forget and cherish for the rest of my life.  Thank you, Renee, Erika, and all the staff who helped make my daughter's day special and made us feel at home. If you’re visiting Tyler and want to feel welcome and at home, I highly recommend staying here. I know whenever I am in town again, I will stay here.

New hotel in Tyler recommended by a local caterer, did not disappoint. In an old office building in downtown on the courthouse square. The rooms were clean and very modern with a minimalist look. Restaurant's and bars in close walking distance to the hotel. Staff was attentive, prompt and helpful with an early check-in requests, but a feel they are learning as they go with a new hotel..no complaints by us!! Downside: No onsite parking, but plenty of offsite available. No elevators. No sound insulation in the walls, they DO provide ear plugs!! Upside: Good location Nice upscale boutique hotel Light breakfast offering. Small bar lounge Would definitely stay again should our travels take us to Tyler, give them a look!!

Lloco888From the moment we walked in the door until the moment we checked out, our stay was excellent. Front desk was welcoming. The hotel is located in a quiet area. The beds and pillows were VERY comfortable. The room was clean. My husband realized he forgot his toothbrush and toothpaste. I went to the desk and was handed the needed items with a smile. The breakfast was SO GOOD! There was a large selection of items and the staff was wonderful - even on check-out day when we didn't arrive until 9am to eat - everything was fully stocked. The hotel felt very safe. We love to travel to Tyler a few times a year to get away. This will be our go-to hotel.

From the awesome Customer Service, starting with Armando, John, Shakeem, and the icing on the cake was Ms. Rebecca. These four people are the epitome of what Customer Service should be, my husband had a surgical procedure, and instead of driving back to Dallas, approximately 140 miles one way we decided to check into getting a room at Comfort Inn on Reick Rd in Tyler, TX. The Staff eased my worries, and made me comfortable. The room was very clean and it made us feel like we were at home. The room was set up very comfortable, and effectively, it met our every need.

EEarsleywyattMy fiance Wyatt Earsley and I had to come to Tyler Texas for a work related trip. Made reservations almost a week in advance and his company pays to stay at any hotel. So he has a company card and that is what we used to book our stay. We are from South Dakota so it takes 18 to 19 hours to get here. We called candlewood of Tyler to see if we could get ground floor couldn't they claimed they only had 4th floor. When we call was earlier that morning. So we were probably an hour out mind you it's now almost 2:30am we are exhausted. We called to say we will be there in an hour. The front desk guy Dave or David tells us our card didnt go through so they cancelled our reservation like what? They didnt call us nothing to work it out. So outta pure madness we booked with holiday inn an express and surprise no issue with our work card hmmm find it funny candlewood said that our card didnt go through for them but was fine at another hotel. We stay at a lot hotels and most of our stays are a week or more. My fiance has platinum status with ever brand of hotel for how much we travel and earn points. Never in 4 yrs have we had such rude service and so dishonest service. Dave or David this review is about you. The man who lied and was rude and didnt bother to call if there was a problem. We will never stay at your hotel and holiday inn an express south will have our business when we come back an we will be back. Dont make reservations at candlewood in Tyler Texas you dont know what they will pull on you.

That's my second time and surely I'll comeback The location is great you can walk 5 mins to anything you need ! And there's walgreens right across the street Alot of resturants too It's a little overpriced but it's worth it

SSharleen CamposWas charged an extra fee for needing to check in a little early because we came in for our granddaughter graduation and would have missed the window of check in. Plus our coffee pot cracked and started leaking every where after the first us. Could use with some renovation, especially the stairs...Terrible!!!!
