Excellent
The Marriott Residence Inn in Goleta has been our families home away from home when they visit. My parents live on the east coast and come to visit several times a year and always stay here. It is truly a vacation for them. From the delicious breakfast each morning, to the comfortable room and amazing amenities in my opinion it's the best place to stay in Santa Barbara. My dad loves the pool, jacuzzi and workout room. My mom loves sitting by the fire pits. I'm always amazed by how incredible the staff is. They are so helpful, friendly and attentive to everyone's needs. I can't thank them enough! I would highly recommend staying here. You won't be disappointed.

RrobertaAbsolutely wonderful location. The bike / walking path is a minute walk from the hotel, right along the beach. There's a little grocery store about a 5 minute walk up S Milpas St, so convenient. Lots of great places to eat within walking distance (1 mile) or a short drive. I didn't eat at the hotel. The room was clean but toiletries were not replenished, and my dirty glasses were not washed or replaced. For the high price tag, I would have expected that. The air conditioning in the room was great, quiet, and easy to adjust.The front desk team was very friendly and knowledgeable. My favorite people were the Valet team. They were fun to speak with, very down to earth and did their job well. Valet parking is $26.00 / night. I didn't see that price anywhere when I booked.

IIrwinInn by the Harbor has a nice location, but a bit far to walk to the beach and to the business district. However, if you have a car then it should not be a problem. It has a lovely inner yard with some nice plants. The staff is very attentive to requests. The happy hour drinks and the continental breakfast were good. However, although the facility is clean, it can use some updates. Nonetheless, we had a pleasant stay at the inn but may look for other venues even closer to the beach or the business district.

GGuest UserThe front desk is very strict. You must have a visa card to stay. At the restaurant at the door, I bought breakfast with breakfast. It used to mean breakfast deducted with $50. You can order it yourself. The restaurant is delicious The highlight is the pool, you will love the experience here....a large piece at hand. The pool is warm water. GGuest UserYou have to visit this property to really appreciate it. I cannot say enough about the property, room (#271), service, staff, restaurant/food at this BW+. No complaints. Very clean and quiet room & property. Great pool and patio. The outdoor finch aviary was a nice bonus. Beautiful blooming flowers & mature trees throughout the property. Stay was extra nice due to the more mature guests & the non-summer time of year (=quiet). Full breakfast, lunch, dinner menus available.

GGuest UserWe stayed here for 2 nights during Christmas time. The location and price was right. It is walking distance to the beach and warf. The room was clean but very small. We are a family of three and it was a tight fit. We didn't spend much time in the room though so it was fine. Since we came for Christmas we took the self driving holiday light tour. It was amazing! Highly recommended. The warf and boat tour was nice to catch the sunset.

GGuest UserThe hotel looks very well maintained. My room had a sofa and desk along with the king size bed. Big room for a hotel. The bathroom and sink area are alittle small, but very modern and tiled. The shower was excellent. The pool and jucuzzi were crystal clear and clean. Pretty big pool with a deep end of 8 ft. The location is about 8 minute drive to downtown, but there are several restaurants within walking distance. The area seems nice, don’t let the closed hotel next door scare you away.

GGuest UserThe style of the hotel is still somewhat characteristic. The room is very compact and hygienic. We live on the first floor, the sound is not good, the sound of walking upstairs is very large, the noise of the hotel exhaust and air conditioning is also very annoying. Booked more than one month in advance, more than 1,600 a night. It feels worthless.

Parking service is also very good, but if you want to park in the hotel, you can only valet parking, you need to spend 32USD, the orange ticket given by the waiter must be collected, you must have a small ticket to pick up the car, when you go, it is recommended A 10USD tip for the valet parking attendant. The service quality of the waiter is also very good, very friendly to the children, and the children are very happy to play. GGuest UserThe resort was beautiful, the room was comfortable and clean. We brought our golden retriever and it was a very pleasant stay for him as well. The location is close enough to the shops and restaurants of State St. but far enough away to be peaceful and not too crowded. My only complaint is the food. We ate at all of the different restaurants and each time we were so disappointed by the quality of the food and the prices were astronomical. I don't mind paying a lot for good food, but this food was worse than what I make at home and I am not a good cook! My daughter ordered the lobster roll at The Set and it was terrible. $30 down the drain. We had breakfast at The Roundhouse and the avocado toast was beyond bland. Then we tried lunch at the Terraza del Mar - I got a chicken Cesar salad and my daughter got a poke bowl. The salad was cole slaw mix and chicken, that was it. Her poke bowl didn't have the rice that it was supposed to have and was horrible, she couldn't have more than a couple bites. I would stay at the resort again, but would never eat at any of their restaurants again. Better to Doordash or eat off property.
