I spend 100 nights per year in just Hilton brands alone. I'm middle aged and not high maintenance. Additionally due to my industry/company I've been required to travel during the entire COVID nightmare. I totally understand the challenges and changes the pandemic brought to hotels and have a great deal of respect for the hospitality industry as a whole. This is my 4th time being a guest at this property and honestly there are no major issues. In general property, guest rooms, staff and location are all great! This is more a full-service hotel and a considerable step above your typical Hampton Inn format/experience. A few minor irritates: No shampoo in my room or at front desk. Was told they ran out? No loaner guest umbrellas. Was told they ran out? Limited breakfast hours and no to-go bagged breakfasts on the weekends? Regards to homeless/transient problem that plagues Portland. It's considerably better/cleaner around the hotel and Pearl district than just a year ago. I have no issues walking around by myself or concern about parking my car on the surrounding streets (except some park blocks are still dicey).

The facilities are good, clean and the interior of the public space is excellent, as if it was newly built or remodeled recently. Overall satisfaction except for the serious noise problem due to the failure of the room heater. Especially the bathroom shower water pressure is high and the breakfast is good.

We found the Hilton Vancouver to be a great hotel that also provided great service! Before the visit, I got a text asking if we needed anything so I asked Dickson about possible upgrades for a Diamond --- he offered an upgrade to a park view (same room type) and when I asked about the Junior Suite, he offered a paid upgrade into one which I took since it seemed reasonable (some hotels upgrade me for free to suites but it sounds like for this one this class of rooms is beyond the usual free upgrade stage, but I still did it to try out the suite). I appreciated the communications from Dickson about our upcoming stay and he provided us a high floor room for the suite. The room itself was quite nice - note that the Jr Suite is still just one room (with a King bed and no sleeper sofa (there is a single seat couch) but with tables in both the entry area and near the bedroom; it was hard to tell from the photos and at check-in someone in the front said there was a sleeper sofa so I suppose some of the other rooms might have that). We liked the 'kitchen-like' table at entry as it was situated right in front of a window facing the park. Breakfast was great - they have a restaurant called Gray's and Sharon took my to-go order and was both prompt & very professional, and food was good (Diamonds get a $15/day credit so you can use it there for B/L/D). Staff was all very good and helpful to questions I had since this was our first (of probably many) trips to Vancouver.

We were in Portland visiting our daughters, and booked a downtown hotel for the stay. It was frightful. Cars broken into everyday, no maid service, although it had Spa in the name, no spa, filthy rooms I was ready to give up on ever finding great Customer service again. It doesn’t matter the nightly rates, whether it was a $400.00 resort or a 100 dollar one, CS is missing all over the US. . Well that’s all in the past. THE EMPLOYEES AND OWNER need to be commended at the Hilton. At every point of our stay, (after checking out of the frightful hotel) the employees not only were there to help but the hotel is spotless. From Kiara at the front desk, to our helpful waitress at breakfast Sarah, to the fantastic bartender. THIS HOTEL has not used the pandemic to lower their standards, they in fact set the bar for all hotels. Take care of your employees so they in turn want to take care of your guests and property. AWESOME!

We found this hotel to be as advertised. The rooms were large, modern and very comfortable. Lovely bathroom and well appointed. We felt this hotel was good bang for the buck. The staff was fairly friendly and answered any questions we had. We had a so/so dinner there as it was a bit of a drive to the nearest restaurant. I would recommend this hotel for a stopover.

My wife and I recently stayed at this hotel for three nights and had a wonderful experience. The location is perfect for exploring the area, whether you're shopping, dining, or taking a stroll in the nearby park. The staff were always helpful, friendly, and polite whenever we needed assistance. Our outbound flight was scheduled for late afternoon, so we requested a late check-out, though we weren't expecting much. However, Jay went above and beyond to accommodate our request and graciously allowed us a late check-out at no extra cost and gave us tips on places to visit in the area. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning in the future.

GGuest UserThe place was great but when I got there, the guy working started saying stuff like “ it’s quiet around here”, “Your not trying to party are you?” Then starts saying people have been coming there lately trying to do so, I assumed he stayed these things because I am
A AA woman. I reminded him of my age (while he’s holding my I.D btw) he then goes to tell me I have to pay a $200 deposit. Which I was told before booking the room was $50. So this brings me back to my race, this is being told to me AFTER i just spent nearly $200 just to get the room. So I am behind upset.
GGuest UserWe fly in from Hawaii, our flight delayed 3 hours, so we arrived at the hotel at 4am, the girl at the counter was walking towards outside and saw us entering the hotel with luggages without saying a word, we thought she was stepped out just a bit, and waited in the lobby, but she disappeared! There was another man in the lobby he tried to help us find her however no luck.
We were so very tired and waited in the lobby for half an hour, she finally came in and gave us the key of the room, it only took like 2 minutes.
If it were that simple, why not just handed the key to us upon our arrival, we tried to make phone calls, but the phone rang right in front of us in the counter with nobody inside, it's very very very frustrated.
LlusongshiWe stayed here for three nights. The design of the hotel is simple and simple like a studio. The room is more spacious and the bed is comfortable. The surrounding environment is also good to the city center. There was some problem with the lighting of the room, and the cabinet placed in the coffee machine was almost invisible. Although there are windows that can't be opened, it wastes natural air and does not meet the environmental protection concept emphasized by the hotel itself. Because it is probably a new hotel, the air circulation is not good, some taste (still acceptable)
GGuest UserI don’t understand the glowing reviews & photos are definitely deceiving. I should have captured the armed security guards all over the place and the homeless drug addicts shooting up on the street. I have never been so relieved to leave Portland. What a gorgeous city overcome with homeless tent camps and sad addicts freebasing on every corner. Tried to walk a few blocks to dinner but had to Uber back in order to be safe. Thankfully we didn’t bring our children but it would have been such an education on why not to try drugs. Luckily our car was not broken in to (see past reviews) however a homeless person clearly made it onto our floor screaming at 5am since the elevator’s card reader to make it onto upper floors was not operational. We were mostly deceived by AmEx as this property was listed as a Fine Hotels property. It is not but I would say the others listed were not either (the Nines was much nicer but more addicts were down that way. Another old hotel but nice hotels in Portland are few & far between). Love this city but I will not be back until it is cleaned up and the Ritz Carlton opens. All of this said, the staff at the Duniway are doing their best with what they have to work with. We experienced great customer service, clean rooms, and comfortable rooms. The hotel desperately needs an update though. What made our stay a positive one is that we left unharmed, found some great restaurants (go to the Pearl District), and spent all day away from Portland at Hood River or the Oregon coast.
The hotel facilities were fine, average for the price range. The staff was friendly, helpful. I booked two stays a week apart, minutes from the Portland Airport for a family trip to Hawaii. On the first visit the hotel shuttle was great, came within a few minutes. Took three trips on it during that stay—my arrival and back to the airport to collect arriving family members, all was well. On the return trip I needed to take the shuttle back to the airport to catch an intercity shuttle back to my home city Eugene. The desk said “It’s already on its way” I waited half an hour, no shuttle. Quite a few people were waiting for it by now. Releasing I would miss the other shuttle’s boarding time, I called for a private Lyft back home. I think I will do this when flying from PDX from now on. It is less expensive overall (hotel stay, intercity shuttle) Also very comfortable and exact timing I needed. Another caution: This was NOT the Aloft hotel’s fault but I accidentally booked the stays on a third party site. It looked like I was on the hotel’s web page except for tiny print in the upper left hand corner. It added a total of $160 to the stays and makes it impossible to cancel the stays even weeks before. I see this happening more and more. Be careful out there.
AAdam ValentinerI would describe this as a hipster hotel with unique character to match the downtown area. My teenage kids did like the room and the adjacent coffee shop. However, I felt the room was a little small, especially the bathroom and the room could use some updating like more amenities like towel racks and storage for suitcases. Our room was not close to being recently remodeled so pictures can be a little deceiving. Bed was comfortable but I could hear people walking around above our room at night. I also struggled with parking found it very stressful trying to find parking, plan to spend around $40 a day on parking a day if you are driving around a lot. The overnight parking which is approx 10-15 minutes away walking distance is not on site and is only $20 a night, but it does not feel safe after 10pm to be walking around due to the homeless problem in the area. I don't think I will be returning to this hotel. I def don't feel like this was a 3 star hotel, I would give it a 2.5 out of 4 or 5 stars. The breakfast was a continental at best. Pastries with juice or coffee and fruit. Sometimes they provided yogurt or boxed oatmeal and oat milk but nothing special and get there before 9 am or there may run out of items. Portland has a lot of fun things to see but because of the homeless problem I would seek out recommendations for the best attractions and stir clear of the problem areas. Washington park and art museum were a lot of fun to visit. Multnomah Falls would be an all day trip and get there very early since parking is terrible or park off site and take tram in. I was also charged an additional fee of $25 a night which was not mentioned anywhere on the trip.com booking receipt.
GGuest UserSo you won't be surprised like us the parking is 10.00. On checkin the guy couldn't have had a good day he was none too pleasant. No explanation of services, couldn't accommodate pur low floor request, no breakfast included, and on and on. Rooms are dated and carpets stained like blood. There are SO many other options please look for those in Portlans.
郝郝珈霏The facilities are a bit old, but the location is good, not far from the highway, easy to rest during long-distance travel, the parking lot is large, no charge. There are several American fast food restaurants around, easy to eat.
QQIOlder-style hotel, the road traffic conditions are good, and the waiters are also enthusiastic. The main reason is that Ctrip's employees did a good job. Because I communicated with them in the early stage and reflected my emergency situation, they all contacted the hotel and resolved it immediately, so I sincerely appreciate Ctrip's efficiency and attitude! It is because of them that I am willing to place an order on Ctrip.
