GGuest UserThe staff were very friendly and the facility was clean.
I enjoyed my stay with coffee in the morning and wine in the evening.
Because it was near the station, sightseeing was easy.
I still want to use it.
NNancy XIt's a hotel with some proud history. They've arranged a corridor to introduce their past and the hotel is elegantly decorated. There's some sort of package that I've paid for at trip.com. that I didn't really know about and they've given me 20 dollar allowance to use for the hotel food because of this. The room is clean, and basically you could use the lift by yourself because it requires you to enter your floor number before you get in the specific lift. The hotel is right in front of the union square so you're accesible to many stuff. I've talked to some guests at the breakfast place and some of them have come here many times. I think I would come again some time, if SF city has less homeless and become cleaner, like it used to be.
YYONGAnother disappointing experience. The booking price was more than 4,000 and one night. I thought it was better than Liz. The result was that I found a Samsung hotel and the front desk offered two thousand. Two big and one small gave two single bed rooms, the front desk means to act according to the order. She has no responsibility. The room we booked is wrong. The problem is that Ctrip can answer that I have paid such a high price. I can't get the corresponding service because I chose the wrong one? At checkout, there was an additional $30 in facility fees per day, but the Ritz Hotel did not. According to Ctrip's regulations, this fee is paid separately by me. Ctrip defines the rules as perfect for themselves, without any problems. I just want to remind you that it is very simple for me. I paid a high premium. My expectation is to get better service. I can live comfortably in two big and small, I will not spend too much time researching. How big is the bed, and there is an extra cost to pay. Where can I provide a satisfactory reservation service, I am going to book it, but Ctrip is obviously not. Thank you, goodbye Ctrip.
GGuest UserI want to share my recent experience at this hotel, which I regretfully cannot recommend. The hotel has an attractive location but is marred by a lack of basic amenities and poor customer service. During our six-night stay, we discovered on the second morning that there was no hot water. We informed the receptionist, Andy, but were met with a dismissive and rude attitude. We were informed that there would be no hot water for the rest of the day, and this lack of basic amenities was for a total of three days of the six days of our stay. Please note that according to California Civil Code §1940.2, it is the responsibility of the hotel to provide and maintain hot and cold running water for guests. To make matters worse, when we requested to check out early due to this issue, we were offered no refunds as our stay was prepaid on expedia. Expedia told us that the property was to decide while the property said it was expedia.. As I am a hotelier myself, I know it is the hotel’s call in the end. We were offered a shower facility in a separate building which was very inconvenient as we had to walk out of our building and take elevators to get there.. This was not a suitable alternative to the basic amenity that we had paid for. To add insult to injury, at time of check out, Andy offered us only $80 as a refund on a reservation worth over $1500, what a humiliating act, we could not believe it! Better not to offer anything, because really it is a shame to offer this to people.. We were one of the many customers to complain, and we saw that the receptionists had no sympathy towards anyone.. Yes, all businesses are there to make money, but not like this. What they did is close to stealing from someone! I cannot recommend this hotel to other travelers, and I will continue to write on other platforms to warn people..
WWendyQZBThe room is clean and of moderate size. The hotel provides reusable silicone travel cups and drinking water, which can be used at any time, which is environmentally friendly and convenient. The food in the restaurant is not expensive, the sundaes are delicious, and the coffee is good. The best thing is the location of the hotel. Fisherman's Wharf is right outside, in n out is a five-minute walk, and Dangdang Bus Terminal is a five-minute walk away. It's great.
GGuest UserThe property seems completely new.. everything is fresh, beautifuly designed and clean. Staff is great, helpful and happy to help. Slight glitch - often the front desk is very busy ( it's a big hotel) and only on charming staff member.. ? Pool (not heated) is cool, as they write on the wall... with many pool ”inflatables” for the guests. Room is big, spacious, comfortable and of course, as clean as they come. Play room next to the lobby is a gem for a family after a long day. Huge bonus: free (neatly designed) bikes to hotel guests! ( first in first served). A fantastic experience in san francisco, caza hotel had a big part in it.
GGuest UserI had a wonderful experience! Highly recommend! This place is a piece of San Francisco history. Beautiful stained glass windows and decorative wood trim. Each room is decorated with unique antique furniture and artwork. No two rooms have the same décor. The staff take pride in their hotel. Everyone was welcoming and genuinely cared that I was enjoying my stay. They have really good free coffee and all the toiletries are available in the bathroom, so you don't need to bring shampoo or soap. I wasn't sure how the shared bathrooms would work, but it ended up being just fine. They have lots of individual shower rooms and bathrooms. I never had to wait, and since each toilet or shower is its own room with a door that locks behind you, no one is walking in on you. Full privacy. Great location too! There is a fancy Italian restaurant downstairs. Trader Joe's is a block away, and Fisherman's Wharf just a few blocks beyond that. Walking distance to Coit Tower and the zig-zag of Lombard Street. This place is great, and I hope to stay here again.
GGuest UserMy wife and I enjoyed an amazing few days at the Hotel Triton. We were greeted by a helpful and friendly staff. As an added bonus, we arrived during Happy Hours so started our Staycation with complimentary beer and wine! Great location near Dragon’s Gate to China Town and a short walk to Union Square. Our room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. If planning a stay in San Francisco Hotel Triton is hard to beat! While it was our first stay here, it definitely won’t be our last.
BBryan GThe staff was very informative, polite, and kind. The front desk manager walked me from the office and down the sidewalk to show me the entrance to where I could find my room. He even helped me solve a kind of tricky situation with competence and ease allowing for compromise and a win-win situation. Honest folks here and a nice stay over.
I stayed at Calista Organic Hotel for a weekend getaway in San Francisco. The hotel's eco-friendly focus was a major draw for me. The room was clean and well-appointed, with organic toiletries and a very comfortable bed. The location is great, close to many attractions and public transportation. The only downside was the limited on-site amenities, but overall, it was a pleasant stay
