We have been coming to ambrosia for 13 years and over this time we’ve seen some changes and this year was much better hotel seems to get better every year the only thing we didn’t like was the same breakfast everyday for 2 weeks which was Turkish breakfast, it’s lovely but not for us everyday, but we just went somewhere else for something different. I want to give a shout out to the staff on the front Ahmet Alalp and Genghis but also a lovely lad that made our beach day lovely by doing the simple thing like bring ice to keep our drinks cold (sorry can’t remember your name) and to a gorgeous young lady that started the same day we arrived she didn’t stop running around keeping everything tidy. Everything about this hotel was great. Very friendly staff. We were put into a room right away. The hotel is very clean and tidy. They clean very often and always ask if cleaning is needed. I was pleased that the room was always cleaned. Bed linen is also changed every time they are cleaned. The pool is very clean. Many people liked to swim in the pool, sometimes people didn't even go to the beach, as the pool was crystal clear. We also often swam in the hotel. I also really liked that the hotel room has a door that goes directly to the pool. If you are tired of crowds, want comfort and a break from people, then you will be comfortable in this hotel, as there are 70 rooms, which gives a sense of space. The hotel is located 5-7 minutes from the beach. We slept soundly, there was no noise at all, we slept with the windows open. We booked a room with breakfast only. We liked breakfast, there were a lot of vegetables, fruits, cheeses, dried fruits and so on. I prefer healthy food and this breakfast was perfect for me. We also ordered food in the hotel restaurant, here the most delicious food, at a very competitive price. We visited many bars and restaurants in Bodrum. We went somewhere every day. But it was in the hotel, in the restaurant, that there was the most extensive menu, with the most delicious food and more favorable prices. Therefore, I recommend ordering food in the restaurant in this hotel. And there is a very beautiful landscaping, so cute. We passed by other hotels and there was no such beautiful landscaping as here. I will return to this hotel for sure. I recommend to everyone! Thanks to the staff of this hotel. You make a great vacation! I also saw the award given to this hotel for being one of the best three star hotels.

I had a lovely stay in this gorgeous boutique hotel run a by lovely young couple who made me feel very welcome and at home. The room was very clean and well appointed, nice pool area, amazing views over Gumbet Bay and a lovely poolside bar. If I come back to Gumbet I will certainly book here again.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the experience I had during my recent stay at your hotel from [18 Aug 2024] to [21 Aug 2024]. Unfortunately, this stay was far from what I expected, and several issues severely impacted my overall experience. Firstly, the behavior and attitude of your staff were particularly disappointing. Manager Hilal was very rude behavior, lacking experience, professionalism and unresponsiveness to requests. I want management to investigate on why, she was having such behavior and check if there were room available at 11 AM 18th Aug 2024 for early check in. Manager HILAL was very angry and wanted me to cancel my booking and simply don’t care about guest experience. As a guest, I expect to be treated with respect and courtesy, which was sadly lacking during my stay. Secondly, I requested one large bed and got disappointed to know that they have all single bed which is joined by room service staff and again same manager HILAL was very rude and telling that joining two single bed is same as one 1 large bed or king size bed. This was unacceptable and not at all in line with the standards I expect from a hotel of your reputation. Moreover, when I brought these issues to the attention of the management, handling of my complaint was inadequate and left me feeling even more frustrated. This experience has unfortunately left a lasting negative impression, and I am considering whether I would stay at or recommend this hotel in the future. I believe that such issues should be addressed promptly to prevent other guests from facing similar dissatisfaction. I would appreciate it if you could investigate these matters and provide an appropriate response. I am also open to discussing how this situation could be rectified. A hotel with excellent value for money... The sea view room is really good. The balcony is big enough to open the party, bigger than the room. The bed is big and comfortable. The bathroom bathroom will definitely give you a little surprise. The manager who prepares the breakfast (maybe the boss) is warm and lovely, the breakfast is not bad... The hotel location is everywhere Very convenient 👍🏻 Very close to the bus terminal However, we must remind you that there is a primary school next to the hotel, and there is an activity park for the children in front of the hotel. So if it's not a holiday time... Friends who don't like the noisy children should consider this. Friends who like children are expected to enjoy the laughter of children like me. In general, I would definitely recommend this hotel's sea view room... If you have the chance to come back here, you will choose here.

A last minute booking at this hotel and we were not disappointed. The only thing I can comment negatively on was the size of our room (610) which while being very modern and nice was very small so much so we had to store our empty cases in our friends' very large room. There wasn't much room to put stuff. That said it was comfy. This hotel has an eclectic collection of stuff all over the hotel and grounds and I like the bicycle tables..and the parrot! The breakfast was very good with a good choice of items. Drinks at the bar were also very good and Hasan (I thinks os his name) is just great. All the staff were friendly and efficient. The pool was lovely but sunbeds around the pool few and taken mostly by 6.30am! The sun terrace is a good relaxing space with step access to the pool. All in all a very nice hotel and will be back in the hope of a bigger room next time 😉

Hotel location is good to find, there is a small brother at the door to help with parking, luggage, etc., but the hotel decoration style is general, but the room is still very good, there is an open-air balcony, very close to the beach, watching is a big swimming pool . The room is very soundproof and there is no loud noise. However, the hotel's other services are more general, Ctrip reservations do not include breakfast, compared to the hotel price, the price is average, but the overall environmental sanitation is very good.

The room, bathroom, beds and kitchens were clean. The criteria I sought were to be clean and quiet. The centre was in place. Although it hadn't had a lot of breakfast, it was enough and good. The garage was on the back, the car wasn't in my problem.

We chose this hotel for our 3 nights and 4 days holiday. I decided based entirely on the score, but after reading the comments, you should decide carefully what you want to give and what you want to get. I think the price/performance/quality balance is good. The swimming pool is sufficient, there are 2 slides for children. The beach is beautiful, mixed sand/stone (we entered comfortably with sea shoes). And the food, day 1 ”asia night”, the food was generally very good. Day 2 was ”fish night”, day 3 was ”international night”, but we didn't see anything international at all. But I would like to thank Mr. Şener, who makes delicious pitas every evening. The ”Paris Brest” we ate after our first dinner was wonderful, it was freshly made and served. The breakfast is varied and sufficient. Thanks also to the master who made delicious pastries every morning (they were finished the moment they came out of the oven). We chose a standard bunk bed room with our 2 children, the room was small, there was only the bed and the bunk bed next to it, we could not open our suitcase easily. I read about flies and insects and yes there are, the kids were a little scared when they encountered 3 spiders and 2-3 mosquitoes, but we managed. We did not find the dessert buffet in the patisserie section and lunch/dinner section sufficient and diverse. It's always the same desserts and unfortunately there is no dessert that can be eaten properly (if Paris was Brest, of course). There was live music on Wednesday and Friday and it was fun. The hotel staff consists of young people, they are generally caring and friendly. Ms. Helin, who came to us at the beach and asked if we needed anything, accompanied us to the pool, thank you (a bit confusing on the first day). So overall we were satisfied.

We had great time here, the view from the balcony was magnificent, staff is excellent, special thanks to Barıs at the reception and Memed in the restaurant...hope to come again...
