GGuest UserGreat hotel and great staff. We were well looked after by concierge Pai and his guys, and the cleaning, pool and front desk staff were all competent, friendly and helpful. My wife lost her phone and they found it for her; it rained and they had umbrellas for us and helped book taxies and Grab cars. The hotel is very new and the room was super modern and very well decorated, with a big new TV and great amenities. The bed was superb and the pillows were to die for. We were there for a week and this was one of the best hotel stays we have had in recent times and I highly recommend it. This is a very well-run hotel so I commend management as well. It does the Marriott group proud. Also, location is great just minutes from Asok BTS and MRT. Lots of food options on this Soi 20, as well as Soi's 22 and 18
EEton LeongWow this was an amazing hotel.
Unbeatable location in the heart of city centre with easy access to almost everywhere either via BTS or cab.
Service was excellent, right from the front desk, restaurant staff and even the housekeeping. Always accomodating to every of our request. Was also given a surprise birthday cake on my stay!
Gym was superb, one of the best hotel gyms ever been. Even more equipped than my resident gym in my hometown in Singapore.
Pool was slightly dated but great for just chilling by the sundeck. We tried the hot jacuzzi which was great. Pool size was great too.
Roomwise we booked the Grand Corner King bed which was spotless. Huge Bathroom came with a separate bath tub and shower. Came with lots of charging points and sofa bed. Were also given a high floor. The filtered water dispenser was also a nice touch point.
GGuest UserVery clean and comfortable for the price. Location although near to DMK airport, is a little far from Futurepark shopping area. There are plenty of 7-11 and local stalls within walking area but not the touristy type. Getting a cab will be hard unless getting the hotel to help. Friendly staffs! Breakfast was great too.
GGuest UserWe stayed at this hotel for two nights while we were in Bangkok. The building is very nice and clean, our room was very well laid out. Roof top pool was nice as was the buffet breakfast. Good location with lots of places within walking distance or easy access to taxis and Tuk Tuks. Best part was the staff, friendly and professional service. Special thanks to front desk staff member Sawassakorn. He helped us out with taxis around the city, a local restaurant and arranged for a car to drive us to the airport.
GGuest UserI had the pleasure of staying at The Montien for 3 weeks 2 months ago when on a company-booked trip. My room and bed were extremely comfortable and spacious, with plenty of natural light and unobstructed views, quality amenities including a Nespresso machine. The Montien decor is modern, Thai style and beautiful. The breakfast buffet is bountiful, with plenty of variety. Pierre Pelletier, the Area General Manager and his team went above and beyond to ensure my stay was outstanding! Then this month when my family and I planned a vacation to Bangkok I picked this hotel as our base. The hotel is conveniently located for easy access to the sky and underground trains, many must-go-to restaurants, cafes, Siam Paragon, temples, Chinatown, night walks and more. We were welcomed with incredible 5-star Thai hospitality. Special mention to Khun Nu, her front desk team and night manager Khun Jew for handling flight delays, airport transfers and arranging pick up of lost luggage, Khun Tik for his world-class warm welcomes, Max’s regular assistance and taxi coordination, the ever-helpful and polite bellmen, Beer remembering our morning coffee preferences, Kae at Ruenton restaurant for looking after us at dinners, friendly Tanya at the lobby bar, the housekeeping team for keeping our 3 rooms impeccable and everyone who made our Bangkok vacation so memorable! It felt like our home away from home and we enjoyed our time here so much!
GGuest UserIn my opinion this is a great short stay for lovers of art and design. It’s filled with lush things to look at and soak in. Room was lovely and clean with a funky design and reliable wifi. Staff were all great as well. I think this is best for a short stay as the location wasn’t particularly pleasant for walkability and getting out and about sight seeing. If you’re spending a bit of time in Bangkok with the view to seeing a lot, the location is a weak point. The art classes and spin classes looked great but I didn’t get a chance to try anything out. Everything is a bit pricey, and I think their beautiful rooftop and restaurant would be filled up more if it wasn’t so much. I found the menu a bit limited given how little alternatives are around the hotel. Happy hour on the roof is worth the trip though!
HHaidhar HalimDecided to stay here for one night after coming back into the city center from a customer visit out of town, on my last day in Bangkok. The hotel's location is walking distance to Phrom Phong BTS station, and next to Emsphere mall. Many restaurants around, massage parlors, convenience stores, bars if you're into that. However, it's not the cleanest hotelsI've stayed at. It's also a bit old I reckon. I'm usually not very sensitive but there was a distinct damp smell when I arrived on my floor, and there were chips on the carpet..the sink in my room was also leaking..and wet. The bed was comfortable, but there was a dark stain at the end of it, which I thought was ciggarette dust initially, but probably just dirt. Size of room is OK, a bit stuffy, smells damp, and view of the Sukhumvit street is alright. Noise proof is acceptable.
AAnonymous UserRoom: I got room at Level 15. Just nice for 2 person. Not too big or too small. No sound from the main road can be heard at this level unless when people talking in hallway. Consider quite.
Location: Walking distance to BTS Ratchathewi. Need to use crossing-bridge to cross the road. Across the road will have halal restaurant.
Others:
- This hotel have weighting machine for luggage. Need to pay 10 bhat (use coins).
- Prepare 200bhat for room deposit. This will be return upon check-out.
SSleepingbaby SawEnjoyed my stay in Hotel Furama Silom from 30th April 24 to 4th May 24. The room size and the bathroom are spacious, they also provide big bottles of Shower lotion and Shampoo with nice fragrance. Bed was very comfortable, Wifi decent and Air-con was good and cold.
Very good location and the transportation to Central World is very convenient. Close to 7-eleven just 2 doors down from the hotel. Overall, great value for money.
GGuest UserThe hotel reception staff provided excellent service, and the location is great. However, there was a foul odor emanating from the bathroom drain. Essential amenities such as toothbrushes and razors were not provided, only body wash and shampoo mounted on the wall. The room and bathroom were also smaller than they appeared in the photos, giving the bathroom a cramped feeling.
