GGuest UserHad a birthday surprise staycay at Fairmont and it was such a lovely experience. Everything was wonderful kudos to counter staff Bernice who went the extra mile for our requests. Definitely a go-to for our annual celebration!
ZZomoOasia Downtown: A Stylish Urban Oasis
Oasia Hotel Downtown is a stylish and comfortable hotel in the heart of Singapore. The Club Lounge offers complimentary beverages all day and a happy hour with free alcoholic drinks. The breakfast buffet has a wide variety of delicious dishes. While the outdoor furniture could use an update, the hotel's rooftop pool and garden provide a peaceful escape. Overall, Oasia Hotel Downtown is a highly recommended choice for a stylish and comfortable stay in Singapore.
AAnonymous UserThis is my 2nd stay here, for my birthday this year! Always loved how the location is convenient and it has everything I need for a simple but satisfying stay. Everything was great, I got upgraded to the 24th Floor 🥹🥹! Only slight downside was that the door had to be pushed really, REALLY hard to close / open it (it won't close properly). Not a huge nuisance but I do have to use my whole body weight to close the door lol. And there were dust bunnies in the gaps where the door lock (the black latch) is. I had to wipe that down myself. Besides these, the stay was comfy and great! Thank you once again! :)
TTraveller SunThe location is superb, near MRT, with taxi stand and bus stop just downstairs. Night time, you don't need to step outside for pub and bar. Just the breakfast taste is a little bit underperformed
TTravelySpacious and clean room, got the room with garden view balcony. Imo the balcony lock doesn’t seem secure enough & not much view. Overall stay was pleasant with comfortable space, bed and pillow menu to choose from. There’s TWG tea and Coffee machine for your caffeine fix. Even though located far from main sentosa area there is a shuttle bus in/out to habourfront station exit D. Also shuttle bus outside the hotel towards beach station to catch the monorail. otherwise complimentary parking is available as well. Kudos to Kwee Zeen staff and manager Peter’s hospitality. Reception staff kind of give off some vibes imo not very welcoming & “seem busy to answer to your queries” short-staff perhaps. Nonetheless, it’s still pleasant get away as resort screams resort vibes.
GGuest UserThe service was great, we enjoyed our breakfast at the sanctuary cafe for the 2 mornings we were at the hotel. Waitress MJ and the floor manager (an Indian gentleman whose name I didn’t catch) were extremely professional and welcoming and we think the best part of our hotel stay. The spread was decent, and there were slight differences in what was available for the buffet on the two mornings we visited.
Hotel wise staff were friendly, lifts were easily available no long wait times. Close to imbiah station and a short walk to the beach area.
The room was clean, the Aircon was powerful, and the complimentary mini bar with coke sprite and bottled water, as well as kitkat and Oreo’s were a pleasant surprise. The room was also very spacious with a huge bath room. The carpet was very clean that sometimes we forgot to wear our room slippers. 5/5 for the cleaning crew!
Things that could do better was that the Facilities and room were really worn out the laminate was peeling, and there was no where for us to hang up our wet swim wear and towels. Considering that the hotel promotes eco practices like reusing our towels, it would be nice to have more than the two hooks to hang up wet fabrics to dry. A quick fix would be to install a simple laundry line over the tub..just our suggestion.
What bothered us the most was the noise. while the bed was very firm and comfortable and we enjoyed the clean room….the sound insulation ensured that we did not get any sleep in the two nights we were there. We could hear the neighbor’s conversation (imagine a women’s voice laughing beside you in the middle of the night), slamming doors, and water rattling through the pipes every time someone took a shower or flushed the toilet. I could even hear stuff drop on the floor as if it’s in our room . Also the sink faucet turned on by itself to the surprise of my son who happened to be sitting on the toilet. Interesting , tho we think it’s just the poor plumbing rather than something supernatural 😂.
generally it was a pleasant stay if not for the noise.
AAnonymous UserStaffs are very accomodating from reservation staffs , ms. Zee, manager ms. Pauline, to receptionists Ralph Ng and Francis as well as the tiffanys cafe staffs Josie and Lee. Thank u to all of you.
AALAN DAMIENIt's a nice and comfortable place for me to get away from my family and have some fun and relaxing time with me, myself and I. It location is also very nice and very good if you want be in the city and see the world go by. I have already stay at the little hotel with such a majestic name. And I will be making my return to this fine establishment every end of month. I would recommend this hotel and i like to take this opportunity to give credit the hotel staff for all the wonderful services they have given to their guests from near and far.
CChrisWhile location is fantastic where it’s located within a stretch of restaurants and near to mall and MRT, it is a little confusing when we booked Grab as the entrance is at the back alley while the cars always tend to wait at the main road
