Dolarog, a true pet-friendly resort! The resort in itself is superb! It’s like a hidden gem of El Nido and the greatest thing about it is it’s truly a pet-friendly haven! What I like about it is that it’s still in the main island but gives off that exclusive feels. We stayed for 8 days in total at the beachfront villa called Lagen which is a few meters from the beach overlooking their jetti way and that awe-inspiring giant limestone directly in front of our villa. Getting to the resort is other via speedboat or their private access road from Vanilla Beach using a golf car. You know that you’ll have an excellent stay when the owner, Mr. Edu picks you up(or sometimes the son) from Vanilla beach for a more personal touch. How hospitable right? He also has a selection of Italian wines from his cellar as he is Italian, I had Chianti btw over dinner with the beach, stars and the moon as our backdrop. Truly magical! The rooms are always kept clean by the staff who are also very friendly. The main Receptionist, Tata is attentive and very pleasant not to mention very informative. I would take her as my head of staff if only I could! She knows her products and knows when to recommend it, the type of staff who is not in your face all the time to promote an offer. I must say she is one of the nicest resort staff I ever come across with. Food is relatively good. Home cooked and unpretentious. As with any advice when you go to a limited supply area such as El Nido, don’t get your expectations too high on having a western dish so much because obviously, you will have some issues so I only ordered I know locally sourced here like seafood or their filipino dishes like the menudo and chicken curry which are my faves! Filipino breakfast is good. You might wanna carry spare powerbanks as the resort rely on their own generator for electric supply. From 6am-9am and 12noon-6pm there is no electric power. Also, TV is not available (not sure abt other rooms though) but who needs a TV anyway? It’s not like you chose to go to El Nido and sit all day on Netflix and stay indoors duh! I rented a motorbike for 500/day basis and this really helped me in exploring or going out of the resort but the resort offers complimentary shuttle via their golf car to Vanilla beach for free but I wanted to leave and come back on my own time. This is also a 20 minutes walk to Maremegmeg beach by beachside access. Tricycle ride cost between 150 going to town from Vanilla beach btw. Overall our experience is a great 4.5/5 with .5 leaving for improvement on the land access before the Dolarog gate. Also, I’m pretty confident even without any advertisement or active social media promotion, the resort will do just good but let me tell when I posted 1 picture of Dolarog on my socmed, people flocked my DM to ask if I was in another country. We got the highest tier beachfront access villas with AC. We were pleasantly surprised to find that dormitels was connected to eco hotels, a bigger and higher end hotel, and the staff was more than helpful. Every time before we left the hotel we inquired how much a trike would cost from that location. The given price by the drivers was always higher and we chewed them down to the price given by them. Location is great as even tho it is really not in front of the beach as advertised, it’s part of a little cluster with some of the best food we found on the island! Altrove for pizza and the Israeli falafels were to die for!

I really liked the hotel. Good location away from the center, there are scheduled shuttles to Lio Beach and El Nido. At first I was confused by the size of the room and the side window, but the hotel itself is very beautiful and green. It is better to take a room in a category higher than standard. The staff is very friendly. You can book a tour.

This review is long overdue. We stayed here for about 5 days after taking a boat from Coron. Location: close enough to walk easily to the heart of the city and beach, without being stuck in the hustle and bustle of the tourists. It’s just 2 streets, maybe a 4-5 min walk into the town and about 10-15 to hit the beach. Rooms: spacious, exactly what you see on the photos. The view from the 2nd floor middle room was awesome. I know a few reviews mentioned the 3rd so we considered asking to see if it was open, but our view was perfect. The balcony was great too, spend the mornings there packing for the day. Staff: Super friendly staff and owners. This was actually probably our most memorable part because the owners were always available and happy to chat with us about our plans, tours, or get/find us things to do. They have someone on staff at the gate all day/night which was cool. The owners even saw us walking to the mountain area to do the climb and picked us up on their scooters and dropped us off. Bulskamp is exactly the type of accommodation we seek out when we are travelling. The owner Ray is available all day to answer questions, arrange tours, book tricycles or just have a chat. He, along with all the other staff are very helpful friendly and welcoming and make you feel very comfortable. There is a beautiful communal area with comfortable seating and hammocks where guests gather for drinks and travel chats or reading and relaxing. This area is the heart of the hotel and what sets it apart from most other accommodation in town. There is a great choice of breakfast options and a good selection of very well priced drinks available throughout the day and night. The rooms are spotlessly clean with aircon, fan, tv and safe and they are serviced daily. We initially booked for three nights but the hotel atmosphere and beauty of El Nido made us stay for longer. Highly recommended

For a budget hotel - it's ok. There is a cooler with hot/cold water, you can book excursions directly from the hotel. But the air conditioners - these old noisy ”monsters” are everywhere 🤦♂️ and the staff is positive, responsive 👍

The place is very comfortable. We stayed here for three nights and I must say that this place is awesome. The receptionists are very helpful and they always make our room tidy. Keep up the good work!

We stayed 4 nights at Raje Residence in room 402. It's a family run hotel and provides very basic clean AIR-CONDITIONED rooms with ensuite facilities. Staff and owner is all friendly. Approx. 15mins walk to the city centre. We didn't mind the short walk, as it was good exercise. There is no fridge or TV in the room, but WIFI connection is good. The air-con is a small box, so a bit of noise - but it didn't bother us, as each day after sight seeing and doing tours we just past out. We could not hear street noise from our room. The shower pressure was strong. The continental breakfast is actually quite good. You get pancake, waffle or toast choice, and how you want your eggs cooked (fried, omelets etc) and a slice of fruit, plus tea or coffee. Good start to the day! For the Price you paid it's a great place to stay if you want a clean bed and hot shower. We would recommend them.

The best hostel around. Amazing activities, from the daily island hopping tours to the evening games. Great kitchen with delicious food and good drinks. Comfortable and clean rooms with a great location and incredible sunset view. But the best thing about outpost is the staff. Always on hand to make your stay better, forever happy and engaging. Really the best group of people that I will never forget. Thank you Outpost.

Quite location just across elementary school, just a few meters walk to the beach and shops and eatery. We arrived 2hrs early and surprised Our room was already ready. The room is well laid out and plenty of closet for your belongings. We were on the 3rd floor and no elevator, the staffs did carried our luggages Overall we are happy with our stayed in the hotel
