CChris1986First time staying here, fast check in. I personally like the colonial style of the building, room is spacious, very enjoying the cold weather here in cameron highlands. Breakfast is ala cart style, it would be better if can have buffet style.

GGuest UserThe address is as follow: No 46A Jalan Golden Hills 2 Barrington Home, Golden Hills 39000 Tanah Rata, Cameron Hills, pahang Great villa that fit 20 person easily, 3 big rooms and a kitchen with cutlery and plates. Right outside the villa is walking distance to a street night market. Every night was crowded as fresh vegetables are good for value. Encounter everyday jam in Cameron Highlands to all places of interest, easily 2 hours stay in car, time was wasted also on finding carpark lot. Road was mostly one way and curvey, prepare for passengers uneasy on stomach for frequent stops. Hope to come back again and see that the infrastructure have improved.

AAnonymous UserA very beautifull resort with all the required amenties and beautiful view from balcony. Definetly recommend for families. Only disadvantage is its location. Its a bit away from central area where as a tourist one will be planning to visit as part of iternary. Cabs will deny service post 9am morning because of traffic. So no adhoc plans can work out. This resort is for people who want to have a laid back relaxing experience, away from all the commotions. Rooms are really spacious and very clean. All the basic ameneties are provided.

SsitinurakI love the location on the Golden Hills! Superb! Its in the middle of everywhere. If u travel by car, perfect for You! Got 99Speedymart, 7E just below the building. And the best part, got Night Market on Fridays and Saturdays only. Sunday they are not operating. 7km to Brinchang and just 2/3 km to Tanah Rata centre town. However, the unit i got was a corner unit. It was end February windy/ rainy season. Full of wind causing hauling sounds from the windows all the time. But i love it. U don't get this spooky happening often. There was no amenities. I didnt get slipper like my frenz room did. The hot water takes too long to heat. The breakfast was slow, not so tasty. No need to buy room with breakfast. Bedsheet stained. Apart from that, my short stay was ok. The location gets me over these issues.

TTraMyT8It is a nice place to stay, to relax. It has a nice view, nice architecture, lovely decoration. But the weather of this place is quite cool or cold, so it will be greater to avoid of being wet much from the floor by having a barrier and the curtain to seperate the area for having bath from the one for face wash basin and toilet basin. Thank you.

PPhone SiI am writing this review for the improvement of hotel services and visitors who are going to stay this Nova Highlands. The hotel rooms are in the shopping mall but the reception is at the another building. I brought the car and was asked me to park in the shopping mall car parking. There will be parking fees in the shopping mall. Only one receptionist asked me to come back by walking in the heavy cold rain to make the TNG card free in the shopping mall parking. I had to go the reception in another building that is 7 min walk everytime I come back to hotel. I requested an umbrella and she did not borrow it. She said that the hotel didn’t have any person to help us and it was policy. I asked what it was and she replied it was what she said without documents, surprised! She did not give any info about breakfast that I purchased before. When I called and she said to collect the coupon to eat at one cafe in the shopping mall. How can I go in the heavy raining without car and umbrella. There is no intercom system and please don’t the receptionist would pick up the phone calls. So, I would request trip.com to consider it as this Nova Highlands is not hotel, but some kind of guest house.

GGuest UserThe good things about this hotel 1) perfect location, near to literally all attractions 2) my room water heater was good with good water pressure 3) parking was allright, had spots both the days The bad things 1) room was smelly , the towels were old towels that felt dirty after one use, requested for towels on the 1st day itself but didnt get till we checked out. Only had showel gel , no other toiletries provided. The mattress was old and had a few tears and the blanket felt like it wasnt washed. 2) cabinet had holes in it , which was giving out a bad odour at night. 3) zero ventilation , no A/C , was so stuffy and no fan provided, we ended up buying a table fan. Yes camerons is cold but the place really needs air circulation. Overall , its an old place that needs some major refurbishment and cleaning. Will i stay here again? Nope.

GGuest UserClean, smelled good when I entered this service apartment. But if you wanted to have stuff like microwave oven, etc you have to pay for it at the front desk office. Water heater’s maximum heat was warm. Bathroom water trap always choked during shower and created ponding and would only go down after a very long time. The bathroom tiles were not clean and had dead bugs on it. I was disappointed with the unbothered attitude of the front desk when I asked for WiFi password. She said “Oh WiFi… under maintenance… Rosak (Spoilt)”. She stated it as a matter-of-fact and no apologies were given. Whereas on the description it says WiFi is provided. TV only shows local Malay channels. Decor in room was ok. A ceiling light was flickering, causing much annoyance as it was connected with living area’s light and doorbell didn’t work. When I brought this up to the front desk, she said she will call me (there’s no phone in the room btw) and get a technician to come down. I knew nothing was going to happen and I just walked off, annoyed. Needs proper upkeep and maintenance.
