Outstanding
WwenniThere is a noticeable difference in how different guests are treated. I requested to have both rooms on the same floor, but was told the hotel was too full to accommodate this. As a result, I paid an additional fee to upgrade one room. Despite this, the guests in that room only vacated at 4:06 PM, and I didn't receive any call, even though we left our room around 6 PM. When I asked the Reception about this, they claimed they called our room, but no one answered. It's unrealistic to expect someone to stay in their room all day without stepping out, especially since I informed the Reception during check-in that I could be reached on my mobile. It feels like because I didn't pay the full price and only topped up an additional fee, our room was only available when we returned to the hotel at around 10 PM, and no snacks were provided unlike in the fully paid room. I requested a late checkout for just one hour but was told only one room would be granted this privilege. Yet, other guests were allowed to check out as late as 4 PM. There is a clear and significant disparity in the treatment of different guests. Snacks and amenities should be replenished daily, not just provided on the first day at check-in. However, this has not been consistent, as some rooms received these items while others did not.

Iisla rahmanMy trip was perfect. Yes it was a bit expensive because it was on school holidays. But it was a perfect staycation. The staff was friendly and helpful. My room not only have the pool view but i get to see the twin tower from afar as well. The room was spacious and clean. The buggy was available hourly to go to ioi city mall. The in room dining was delicios. We ordered pizza, sandwhiches, mac n cheese and nasi goreng kampung. The price was as expected. But the pepsi can was rm18! Haha a bit shock on that. The breakfast spread was good and delicious too. The pool was huge with 2 slides. Perfect for the kids. Many foc activities too at the pool such as fish feeding and hoverboard lesson. I enjoyed it!

AAnonymous UserAll in all, we don’t mind the Cons (listed below Overview, Pros & Cons) as we only stayed 1 night. So for those looking to stay longer nights, if you don’t mind the cons, you can consider as it is affordable for spacious rooms like this in Sunway City. Overview: 1. this is not managed by Sunway Property, its concept is like booking airbnb as each unit are owned by different owner, managed by a property management (not by Sunway). Residences of this property are also staying there. 2. The name of this place “Resorts Suites @ Bandar Sunway” was tagged as “hotel” in Trip.com, so this can be a bit misleading thinking that this is one of Sunway Properties’ hotel chain. 3. Its reception is at B1 of Sunway Pyramid Hotel, all levels are only accessible by card. 4. Good for stay if you are just looking for lower budget accommodation in Sunway City (for singles, solo travelers, etc), but wouldn’t recommend if are looking at cosy and clean rooms (for family with kids / elderly). 5. As it is a “house” unit itself, it comes with kitchen and some with balcony. Those with kids, need to take note of the balcony. Pro: 1. Attentive staff, very helpful and attend to our needs quite immediately. 2. Room is spacious, good enough for 3 (2+1) to sleep in (Deluxe) and if you opt for the bigger units, can zzz up to 6 pax. 3. Affordable room rates comparable to any of the Sunway hotels around this area. 4. For the unit we stayed in, water pressure is very strong, good bathing time, good flush and running tap is strong. 5. Our unit came with a bathtub but we didn’t use it. 6. 2 beds in our unit, both are king size. 7. Provided clean towels, disposal toothbrushes and shampoos/bath gels. 8. Provided mineral waters, and packet coffee/tea with cups and stirrer, and there’s water boiler too, if you need to use. 9. Aircon is working fine in both living hall and room. 10. Very spacious bathroom. 11. Quiet at night, so can sleep well. Cons: 1. Room furnitures are old and some are not well kept. Probably it’s the way how it’s being managed, so proper care is not given priority by the owner itself. 2. Room is dusty, has a lot of cob webs and also little bugs/ants. So take note especially around the bed area. 3. Bed sheets were just ok. Can be better as looks dusty and with light stains. 4. Curtains are old and dirty. 5. Tv channels only 2 channels. 6. Remote controls (tv and aircon) are dusty. 7. Has balcony but I don’t see that as a plus point as it can be hazardous for family with kids. 8. Door lock was loose, hence we got to change to another room as we have kid with us, so safety is priority to us. 9. Parking flat rate - I didn’t ask if they have flat rate, but may not be since it’s not under Sunway management directly. For us with child, our priority is always safety and cleanliness. So we will look for other options under Sunway Hotels if next time we intend to spend our nights in Sunway City.

GGuest UserRoom is spacious and clean. Provided all the necessary amenities including daily newspapers. Welcome drink is provided. Only the aircond is quite cold and bathroom does not have separate shower area. Other than that, its worth the price. Very friendly staffs. Breakfast is provided and its quite reasonable with the price. Location nearby malls and walking distance to LRT/BRT USJ 7.

GGuest UserRecommended by a friend if I wanted to stay at the small and simple hotel at Sunway City area. So, i tried this hotel. Room was okay, everything worked well. Staff was also nice and they informed everything thru WA and i found this helpful. But I think it is better to book room only instead of having breakfast included. The option for bfast was so poor.

SSwee EanI booked The Premier Essential Twin Room for a two nite stay on 27th-29th May. I believed that my room was not prepared when I checked in. The bathroom lacked of essential amenities like tooth brushes and shower cap except hand soap in broken pieces. Furthermore, there was only 1 pair of disposable slipper and I was in dismay when housekeeping said to me they had run out of stock for slipper. I asked to speak to the manager, Mr Ng on the following day. He was apologetic but very responsive. He noted my concern in his diary, and promptly addressed to it. The amenities were replenished, including the slipper and I received additional bottles of mineral water. Thank you, Mr Ng, for your efficient work.
